Tame This Bad Boy, Professor
“What did I promise would happen if you threw another punch, Artemis?” Professor Lucian's silky tone hardened into a dark fascinating baritone.
“Let me see…” Artemis licked his lips with a menacing smile, his cold dark eyes piercing through the professor's oceanic ones. “You said you'll bring me to my knees but something tells me I'll do more than just begging.”
The air in the room shifted as the older man took a step closer.
“Hit me, Artemis,” Lucian took another step closer. “Every second you hesitate, your punishment doubles.”
Artemis lips curled in a smirk as he stepped closer. He raised his hand slowly to the professor's lips but the older man caught it before it could make contact.
An amused chuckle rumbled in his chest.
“Twenty seconds gone, Professor. You better punish me hard,” he smirked.

Artemis McAlester was feared for two reasons. His ability to break anything and his power to own everything. Kingston College was his playground until a red-haired professor with oceanic blue eyes and a dangerous intolerance for spoiled bullies.
Not only did Lucian defy every rule he set, but he was also the one thing Artemis couldn’t own. And that defiance? It was the sexiest thing of all.
Except Lucian wasn't someone he could break. To own the blue-eyed professor, Artemis would have to do the unthinkable. Submit. Break. Let himself be owned.
As long as the only thing between them was desire and pure unadulterated hate.

Chapter: A callChapter Sixty-Nine“What do you do for fun?” Artemis stared at the text. It was one in the long line of texts Stefan spammed him.Giving Stefan his contact became one of the worst decisions he'd taken this week. The constant beeping of his phone dragged his sleep-deprived ass out of bed this morning. He barely got an hour of sleep, and thanks to this ridiculous “friendship goal,” his three-day sleepless streak wasn’t ending anytime soon.Cooking was a chore and definitely no fun in the empty apartment. Artemis threw open the drawers, even though he was aware there was nothing in there. Grocery shopping was the last thing on his mind.Luckily, he found a stash of cereal, milk, chips and even chocolate. Different kinds. A small smile touched his lips as he pulled it out. A small folded note fell out, landing on his feet. He recognised the handwriting immediately and picked it up. Leo. He unfolded the paper. “Left you a stash in case you remember you NEED to eat.” Artemis dialed h

Chapter: Start overChapter Sixty-EightLucian chugged down the last shot and slammed the glass down on the table. Cheers erupted around him. “You handle your alcohol well, Mr Meyers,” Laura laughed. “That’s your tenth shot and I'm still struggling on my second because I'm too scared to get drunk. “Hmmpphhh,” Lucian nodded absentmindedly, reaching for the next bottle. Laura exchanged glances with the other professors. They'd decided to go out for drinks after the college exams to unwound from the day’s stress and toast to ending the semester in one piece. Laura was certain that Lucian would decline so she had prepared to convince him. He'd been very quiet in the last few weeks and withdrew from everyone. She rarely caught him in his office and at a certain point, he stopped showing up to the college all together. Most of her calls went unanswered with one word responses to her texts. She suspected it might have had something to do with his lover’s disappearance but she never got the chance to ask him

Chapter: A stalker friend? Chapter Sixty-SevenArtemis stood there for several seconds without a word. Lucian wasn’t even a real professor anyway. Even if the news got out, there was no reputation to be ruined. He would continue working for his father like usual. Nothing would change. Memories of Lucian’s exhausted eyes behind the screen flickered in his mind. The endless stacks of paper on his desk. Even if it wasn't a fake identity, Lucian still poured his heart into it. If he was going to leave, it should be on his own terms, not because someone forced him too. Artemis’ fists clenched. He was doing it again. Considering the stupid man’s feelings when the man never once put him first. His voice locked tightly. “So what now? You want sex? Is that good enough?” Artemis turned to him. “If I let you have me for one night, is that enough for you to leave him out of your petty little games?”Stefan was momentarily stunned. He never imagines once that Artemis would be so easy to get. He thought he would have t

Chapter: BlackmailChapter sixty-sixA full minute passed and neither male uttered a word. Artemis dropped the bag on the counter, next to the cocktail. Stefan's eyes flickered to the bag briefly before locking on those steel grey eyes. He didn't know what to do or even say. He took off his glasses, cussing under his breath. The room suddenly felt hot. He ran a hand over his face, wiping the patches of sweat breaking out. The music around them slowed, even the background noise faded in his ears. Artemis picked up the cocktail again, sipping slowly while guaging Stefan's reaction. “What gave it away?” Stefan finally mustered the courage to ask. He did everything Keila suggested. He made sure not to act like a smitten puppy. Yet…“Hmmm, where do I start?” Artemis feigned thoughtfulness. “The obvious drunk acting or the hungry stares?”Stefan's cheeks colored in embarrassment. Keila made him take a shot so he could smell like alcohol, just enough to sell the act. He thought he was doing pretty great un

Chapter: StefanChapter sixty-five Music echoed through the room as bodies collided. Alcohol mixed with sweat filled the room and glasses clicked from every corner, accompanied by loud cheers. Artemis glanced at the invitation one last time. Apartment 579. He was in the right place. His eyes scanned through the room of college kids, searching for someone that gave even a little vibe of a secret admirer. The gift bag was in his hand. When Melinda brought over the stuff from his locker—which he hadn’t asked her to—he wanted to dump it all and just forget everything about Kingston until he saw the gift bag. It was different from the ones he always got—customized with his initials on them. Curiosity won over and he opened it, only to find the most ridiculously expensive gifts. He also noticed that the admirer had taken time to correct the scent. The effort was what prompted him to accept the invitation. He wanted to know what this person looked like at least and why she had so much money to spare. H

Chapter: Let's Not See Each Other AgainChapter Sixty-FourLet’s Not See Each Other AgainLucian froze in his step on hearing those words. He turned towards the students who were gossiping. They were so engrossed in their conversation that they didn’t even notice him walking towards them.“I don’t think Artemis would just drop out like that. This isn’t the first time he’s skipping school for weeks,” the second girl argued. “I’m serious! Everyone is talking about it. You know that new girl?” The first girl defended. “Melinda? The one who claimed to have something to do with him? She came yesterday to transfer schools. Those two girls that always hang around her said she was leaving because Artemis was leaving.”Lucian stopped in front of them. Melinda? The same girl Artemis kissed back then?An ugly feeling rose in his chest but he ignored it and cleared his throat, drawing the attention of the girls. They jumped back in fright, ready to scurry away when Lucian threw his question. “Is it true? Artemis McAlester is really

Chapter: The DuelThe DuelKAII was panicking already. Today was the day I finally face my sister in battle before the entire MoonCrest academy. I could already see embarrassment staring me right in the face. Me, a wolfless, weak pathetic, wannabe “Lycan” prince against my brilliant, outstanding warrior princess. And of course, the better twin. It didn't matter how hard I trained in the last two weeks, it certainly didn't matter how much sleep I sacrificed. She would also be stronger and better than me. My palms were already getting sweaty.Every breath felt heavier than the last as I stood in the center of the arena, the cheers of hundreds of students echoing around me like thunder. I could feel their eyes on me, whispering, judging, waiting for the inevitable humiliation.“Don't worry, your highness,” Evanna took my hand with a bright smile. “Don't listen to what anyone has to say. I know you can do it. I believe you can do it. So go there and prove them wrong.” A small smile formed on my lips. “

Chapter: He's Different KAII never thought a day would come where I would see Erys like this. I didn't even think it was possible to see him openly hug someone like that. Affectionately too. For some reason, my insides twisted. I didn't understand why I was feeling this way. I was probably confused. Maybe because I have never seen him like this. “What's going on?” Evanna whispered to my ears. “Are you seeing this?” “I am,” I whispered back but my voice came out shaky and I found myself impatiently counting the seconds they remained in each other's arm. All Erys had ever done since we met was threaten and hurt me. Why… why was my chest feeling tight then at the sight of him breaking before another man. “I missed you so much, little brother,” Erys said and my body stiffened. Brother? The tighteness in my chest slowly evaporated. Erys had a brother? And this was… him?“Brother?” Evanna whispered beside me. “How? He is an Alpha wolf. I don't smell any traces of magic in him.” I knew I wasn't tripping. Th

Chapter: ReunionERYSI barely heard what they said during their so called mentorship. My eyes wouldn't leave the redhead. My brain was working overtime, trying to piece two and two together. I spent years looking for him. Everyone I asked told me that my father took him after the ambush. But I knew my father didn't like Rhys that much. He had never shown any form of affection towards him since mother died. In fact, the man was twisted enough to hate his own son for his wife's death. Who knows what he did to him? Hell, he might have even tried to kill him himself. Honestly, I didn't even know how I survived that attack. I just woke up in a pile of bodies, my frail little body covered in blood. Since then, it was just me surviving on my own, until a kind witch family adopted me. But even they were killed. By these heartless wolves. It was the very reason I hated them with every part of my being. They took everything from me. But seeing Rhys here, I wasn't even sure how to feel. Does he remember

Chapter: The Red Haired ManERYSI moved to the front row and as expected, every single person on it moved back. I didn't even care. They could do whatever they wanted. I just wanted to get this over with. On the stage, about six chairs were set around the long table. So we were expecting roughly six guests then. Not sure why they had to be that many but I had a feeling this was going to be the longest lecture of all time. Students continue filling the hall and the scent of wolves and witches mixed together. It was tolerable to an extent as long as it was balanced. From the corner of my eye, I saw someone sitting four seats away from me. On the same row. Gasps followed immediately and I sighed, already knowing who it was. His floral scent followed him everywhere. I glanced at him and those blue eyes were staring back at me. Out of nowhere, his annoying bodyguard sat between us, blocking my view of him. I didn't understand why she was so damn annoying, acting like I was going to jump him any minute. I did

Chapter: A command ERYSMoonCrest Bells woke me up from my sleep. I wasn't sure what they wanted this time but it was really annoying that they had to announce it so early in the morning. “All MoonCrest Students are expected to report in Hall C by 10 am prompt. We will be having important guests today so be on your best behaviour.” I scoffed as the intercom blew the information. Report in Hall C. That hall was only used for mentorship. So I'm guessing whoever these guests were must be really important people. Wolves probably. I rolled my eyes with disgust and fell back on my bed. The way I would prefer to skip this.About an hour later, I was out of bed and preparing for the so-called mentorship. I picked out a shirt and pair of jeans and ran my hands through my hair because I honestly couldn't deal with a comb right now. I opened my door to find Daisy waiting with a huge grin. Disdain curled in my chest but I averted my gaze instead and shut the door behind me.“Good morning, Erys,” she grinned. “

Chapter: The warning EVANNAI turned to her with a puzzled expression. “Were you following me?” I asked her and she rolled her eyes. “Why would I follow you? Don't think too highly of yourself,” she huffed. I furrowed my brows. “Really? Cause the last I remember, you were in the training grounds so it's kind of hard to tell what you are doing behind me now.” “Don't try to be the smart ass,” she hissed. “You have nothing worth following. I was going after Erys and you just happened to be in my way. Now I know you have no business with him so would you mind explaining why you've been following him?” I crossed my arms. “As a matter of fact, I do mind.”Her eyes darkened. She was getting irritated by my insolence. And I couldn't have felt any prouder of myself.“For a mere omega, you sure have audacity. You seem to be forgetting that i can tear apart, limb by limb and no one would question so stop letting your employment status get into your head. You are disposable!” She growled, stepping forward. Eve
