Depending on the type of mutant, all they had to do was be near you, and you could become infected. If you don’t have the mutant genes in you already, you’re at risk of turning into a mutant. Those mutants are rare. It’s more common to face the ones that if they bite you or break your skin, you become infected. Chapter: Heat in the Hall WayI remind him of someone he lost? Sarah? Was that who he lost? I had so many questions about that, but I held my tongue. Now wasn’t the time. The nurse was busy, so I decided to go to the bathroom and check out the damage myself. Cindy came into the bathroom and gave me a look like she wanted to talk, so I let her in.
