No cheating, no rape, no other woman drama, no crazy exes, no past gf or wife rising from the grave, just no dumb shit. Good plot, good development, good writing, thrilling and suspenseful. Love how Syl is obsessed with Sandra.

Only 86 chapters, but they’re super long! And the story is written refreshingly unique! I laughed, cried, cussed, and was anxious… a definite page turner!

Between this book and The trap of Ace I liked this one more. One of the reasons is that Syl never had a girl, didn’t look at any women, didn’t sleep around with women. He was truly dedicated, in love, and obsessed with her Sandra!! I love that he can almost read Sandra’s mind. Love this book.
