The cold, sharp voice cut through the air.

Ivy froze.

Slowly, she rose up to her full height and turned towards where her husband voice came from.

Her eyes widened in disbelief as Adrian was already seated inside the helicopter.

Beside him sat Maya, one hand protectively wrapped around her stomach, and Old Lady Blackwood, who avoided Ivy’s gaze completely.

For a moment, Ivy couldn’t even process what she was seeing.

“H… huh?” she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
