Waking up sore seemed to be a daily occurrence for me.

Something heavy was wrapped around my waist, I blinked slowly. Sunlight streamed through the curtains.

The room was bright enough to make me squint my eyes. For a few seconds I simply stared at the ceiling, trying to remember how I’d gotten here.
