Nyra’s POV

Blood.

That was the first thing I saw when the healer wiped my lips again and my stomach twisted immediately.

“No…” I whispered weakly.

The older healer avoided my eyes.

Cassian stood beside the bed so fast the chair behind him crashed against the floor.

“Why is she coughing blood again?”

Nobody answered him immediately and that silence terrified me more.
