The phone rang the moment I entered the car, a black sleek one with tinted windows, exuding luxury without much words.

I picked it up without looking, with Kael seated by my side.

It was Brandon.

“Uncle.”

It was the term he always used for me despite his father being my subordinate. I had watched him grow up, the same way I watched Dominic grow up. Unfortunately both of them weren’t peers, but fortunately their personalities couldn't be any more different.
