Elias POV

I lay motionless for long minutes, my body aching all over. I dragged myself to sit upright.

Every movement sent sharp pain lancing through my lower back and thighs. Limping into the bathroom, I turned on the shower and stepped under the hot spray. Tears mingled with water as they poured down my face.

Humiliation hurt deeper than this scalding hot shower.

Pain throbbed in every muscle and bone of mine. The night replayed in cruel flashes: the initial thought of help to the endless violation.

After thirty minutes of crying in the bathroom, I came out and used a new towel. I dried off mechanically, avoiding my reflection on the side mirror.

I glanced at the sleeping stranger—hatred and anger warring in my chest. Seeing him sleeping peacefully made me want to kill him but I retrained myself.

I didn't want to destroy my father's reputation, I will deal with him when I finalize this business deal.

Gathering my scattered clothes, I pulled them on with shaking hands. The folder I had carried earlier lay nearby.

I snatched it up, unaware that a single sheet had slipped free and fluttered beneath the bed.

Limping heavily, I left the suite. The hallway blurred through tears. In the elevator, leaning against the wall as my mind replayed what just happened.

The elevator dinged at the ground floor and opened. Emily hurried forward. “What happened to you? You reek of sex.” She slipped an arm around my waist, supporting me as we moved toward the exit.

“Just… some complications,” I muttered, deflecting. “How did the negotiations go? Did you get a good price?”

She snorted. “No. Those fools kept insisting they were only ‘able’ to offer scraps. Obviously, thieves are looking for easy prey. I just saw those old bastard drunks' home, I refused the offer though.”

We stepped out into the cool night air and slid into Emily's waiting car at the hotel entrance. As the door closed, I stared out the window, my body still trembling from the ordeal.

One of my hands was gripping the edge of the folder so tightly that the corners bent beneath my fingers.

“Talk to me,” Emily said, glancing at me from the driver’s seat. “What happened in there?”

I didn’t answer immediately. How could I?

One moment, I had taken pity and stepped forward to help a stranger clearly in distress, barely able to stand. The next moment I was pleasuring him and being manhandled.

"I made a mistake,” I said finally." by helping a man"

Emily frowned. “Helping someone is a mistake now?”

“…Not helping him.” There was something in the way I said it flat, that made her stop asking for a second.

Then her eyes narrowed. “Did he hurt you?” Her grip on the steering wheel tightened. “I swear—”

“Drop it.” My words sounded solute to end the discussion.

She exhaled but didn’t argue further.

When we arrived at the apartment, I didn’t wait for help this time. Stepping out of the car on my own.

Each step I took hurt, but I refused to show it.

Inside, I moved straight past the kitchen into the bathroom.

The door shut with a trembling click.

The mirror never lies, I stared at my reflection, taking a deep breath at the marks on my body.

There were marks, all over my body. Faint but unmistakably visible.

My lips pressed into a thin line, as I clenched my hands.

Taking off my clothes, I step into the bathroom.

Turned on the tap, letting cold water run over my hands before splashing it onto my face. Again.

And again.

Taking my sponge into my hands, I scrubbed my skin furiously. I wanted to wash away the atrocities committed last night.

Finally, I stepped out, dressed in clean clothes, and my expression had reset to my usual expression.

Emily studied my movement as if trying to spot something. “…You’re really not going to tell me?”

“No.”

“Fine.” She pushed off the wall. “Then at least tell me this—did you lose anything?”

My hands instinctively went to the folder.

Still there. I opened it slightly, scanning the contents.

Every document is exactly where it should be. Closing it again, I replied. “…No.”

That mattered. More than anything else right now.

She let out a breath. “Good, I'm sure that is our only way to win over Mr Carter. You’ve been guarding it like your life depends on it.”

“It does.” I didn’t hesitate.

I walked past Emily and set the folder carefully on the table. My fingers lingered on it for a second before pulling away.

“That man…” Emily started, slower now. “You didn’t even know him, right?”

“No.”

“Then why help him?”

The question hung in the air longer than expected. Finally, I replied. “…Because he looked like he needed it.”

She watched me with something unreadable crossing her face.

“Yeah,” she muttered. “And look where that got you with your father.”

I didn’t respond.

Walking into the kitchen, I started preparing coffee for myself. "Emily, we are visiting my father today. Do the usual".

She stares at him, "Mr Carter has never cared about your well-being, not even how you survive".

I took a sip of the made coffee. "I have survived those years, without his care. He remains my father".

She slammed her hands on the table. "Your father!!! That man that focus on that wretched woman and her son. You worked to get yourself to this position and all he could do was to give that spoiled brat your position."

"Emily, I'm tired. I just want to sleep, just do the usual." I took a long sip and walked to my room.

"Are you still going to that place".

"Emily I don't know, I'm honestly fed up. I don't know if I'm cursed, all I do is never enough. Now I got raped".

"What did you say!" Her eyes widened.

"Yes raped Emily, I was raped by that man I helped. I.....I don't know who I offended.....I am fed up Emily". Tears stream down my face.

“I’m sorry, Elias… I didn’t know.” She closed the distance between us, wrapping her arms around me.

“Let it out,” she murmured against my shoulder. “You’re safe here.”

  • Bound By His Name    How to run a company

Fred POVStepping out of the elevator onto the executive floor with a spring in my step that I hadn’t felt in weeks. A wide, satisfied grin spread across my face as I walked down the hallway. Employees who saw me coming quickly lowered their heads, murmuring hurried greetings.“Good morning, Mr. Fred.”“Morning, sir.”I didn’t bother replying to most of them. Why should I? They were beneath me. Just ants scurrying around my kingdom. I adjusted my designer suit jacket and kept walking, chin held high. When I reached the open-plan office area, I stopped and clapped my hands loudly. Heads turned in my direction.“Listen up, everyone!” I called out, my voice carrying across the floor. “From today, things are going to change around here. I’m taking full control of the upcoming projects. Any file or any decision, that used to go through Elias now comes straight to me. Understood?”A few people nodded quickly. Others exchanged nervous glances. One of the senior managers stepped forward he

  • Bound By His Name    Leave

Elias POVDarkness surrounded me like floating in warm water. There was no pain here. No memories of betrayal or rain, just peaceful silence.I drifted, unsure if I was asleep or somewhere between life and death. Then, in the middle of the endless black, a small point of light appeared. It grew like a tiny star blooming in the void. A small figure took shape within it.It looked like a child — no older than four or five — with glowing skin and bright, curious eyes. The figure floated closer, bare feet dangling in the darkness.“Hello…” a soft, melodic voice called out. It sounded like wind chimes and laughter mixed together. “You’re finally here. I’ve been waiting for you.”I stared at the small bright figure, my heart aching with a strange mixture of fear and warmth. “Who… who are you?” I whispered, my voice echoing strangely in the space. “Am I dreaming? Is this real?”The child tilted their head. “I’m the one growing inside you. I’ve been trying to talk to you for so long, but you

Elias POV Emily’s hand tightened around mine for a second before she nodded. She gave me a small, reassuring smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “I’ll be right back, okay? Just rest. Don’t worry.” I wanted to tell her to stay, but the words stuck in my throat. I simply nodded and watched as she stood up and followed the doctor out of the room. The door clicked shut behind them, leaving me alone with the steady beeping of the heart monitor. The silence felt suffocating. I stared at the ceiling, my mind racing. What could be so bad that he needs to speak to her privately? The strange looks from the doctors earlier replayed in my head. The way they had glanced at me with surprise, concern, something almost like pity. My chest felt tight again, an heavy pressure hit me again. Minutes dragged by. I could hear muffled voices outside the door, but I couldn’t make out the words. Emily’s voice rose once with disbelief, before dropping again. My hands clenched the blanket tightly.

  • Bound By His Name    MRI Scan

Elias POVThe door to my hospital room opened again after what felt like only a few minutes of uneasy silence. Dr. Harlan stepped inside, but this time he wasn’t alone. Three other older doctors followed him — all wearing white coats, their expressions serious and professional. One carried a tablet, another had a thick file in his hands. The atmosphere in the room shifted instantly, becoming heavier.Dr. Harlan cleared his throat and offered me a small, relaxed smile. “Mr. Elias, how are you feeling now? We’ve reviewed your initial vitals and symptoms. To be thorough, we’d like to run a full MRI scan as soon as possible.”My heart skipped a beat. I sat up straighter in the bed, ignoring the slight dizziness that came with the movement. “An MRI? Why? You said it was probably just a viral thing from the rain and stress. Why do I need a scan?”One of the elderly doctors, a man with graying hair and glasses, stepped forward. “We want to rule out any underlying conditions. Your combinati

Damien POVI stared at Monica across the dining table, the strange pressure in my chest still refusing to ease. The behaviors from the kitchen staff only made me more irritated. I leaned forward slightly, staring directly at Monica eyes. “What exactly is your gain?” I asked coldly. “You came into my house and intimidated my staff. What game are you playing, Monica?”She didn’t even flinch. Instead, she turned away from me with a sweet, dismissive smile and waved a hand toward one of the trembling servers.“Serve the meal,” she ordered lightly, as if I hadn’t spoken at all. “Make sure it’s well served, Damien likes his food properly prepared.”The server hesitated for half a second, eyes darting nervously toward me, before quickly moving to obey. Three plates were placed on the table with shaky hands. The rich aroma of roasted meat and herbs filled the air, but it did nothing to calm the storm building inside me.Monica gestured gracefully toward the chair at the head of the table. “

Damien POVI pushed the chair back with a scrape and stood up, the restless pressure in my chest refusing to ease no matter how much whiskey I poured down my throat. The folder on Elias still lay open on the desk like a haunting dream I couldn’t ignore. I needed air. Something to drown out this fucking feeling that something was slipping away from me.“Victor, with me,” I said curtly, already heading for the door.Victor fell into step beside me without question, his usual cheerful energy still present but watchful. We walked down the long corridor toward the private lounge where Monica was waiting. The unease in my chest twisted harder with every step, like invisible fingers digging deeper. The moment I stepped into the dimly lit lounge, I saw her.Monica stood near the large windows, her body swaying slightly with that signature seductive grace. Her waist was narrow, hips full and inviting, the tight dress she wore clinging to every curve like it had been painted on. She turned whe
