Sienna’s POV

Sunlight poured through the massive kitchen windows the next morning.

I walked in still half-asleep, hoping for coffee and some peace.

Instead, I got Nova Kane standing at the stove wearing nothing but black sweatpants that hung dangerously low on his hips.

His back was to me, tattoos shifting across his muscles as he flipped pancakes.

He glanced over his shoulder, that signature smirk already in place. “Morning, Detective. Sleep well? Or were you too busy thinking about me?”

I ignored the bait and headed straight for the coffee machine. “We need to set some ground rules for daily routine. Breakfast at eight. I check in with my captain at nine. You stay where I can see you at all times.”

Nova turned around, holding a spatula like a weapon.

His abs flexed as he leaned against the counter, eyes dragging over my simple tank top and shorts.

“You look good in the morning. All messy hair and attitude. Makes me hungry for something besides pancakes.”

“Rule one for today,” I continued, pouring coffee. “Put on a damn shirt. This isn’t a strip club.”

He laughed, low and raspy. “Why? Distracting you already?” He deliberately stretched, showing off every inch of inked skin. “Come on, Sienna. We’re living together. Might as well enjoy the view.”

I sat at the island, gripping my mug. “This is supervision, not vacation. You have a studio session tomorrow. Until then, you stay inside. No phone calls without me knowing. No surprise visitors.”

Nova slid a plate of pancakes in front of me, then sat down way too close. His knee brushed mine under the table. “You’re really going to play strict teacher every single day? Ninety days is a long time to keep that stick up your ass.”

I shot him a glare. “And you’re really going to fight me on everything?”

“Pretty much.” He took a bite, watching me. “It’s more fun this way.”

We ate in tense silence for a minute before he spoke again, softer this time. “You know… it’s not easy, this life. Everybody wants a piece of you. The label, the fans, the media. They suck you dry until there’s nothing real left. Some nights I’m surrounded by hundreds of people and still feel completely fucking alone.”

I looked up, surprised by the sudden honesty. His green eyes held mine for a moment, something raw flashing there.

Then he blinked and the cocky mask returned. “But hey, at least the money’s good and the pussy’s endless. Right?”

I shook my head. “You almost sounded human for a second there.”

“Don’t get used to it,” he said with a wink. “I’m still the asshole who trashed that hotel suite.”

After breakfast, I tried to establish some order. I set up my laptop at the dining table to write my first report while Nova played guitar in the living room.

The sound was actually beautiful — deep, haunting notes that filled the entire space.

But of course, he couldn’t behave for long.

I caught him cracking open a beer at eleven in the morning.

“Really?” I snatched it from his hand before he could drink. “It’s not even noon.”

Nova grinned. “What? You said no parties. This is just a casual drink.”

“No alcohol. That was clear last night.”

He stepped closer, crowding my space. “You gonna wrestle me for it, Detective? I wouldn’t mind.”

I poured the beer down the sink, ignoring how his eyes burned into me. “Keep pushing and I’ll have you breathalyzed every morning.”

“You’re no fun,” he complained, but his tone was playful. “I bet you were fun once. Before you put on that badge and forgot how to live.”

“I know how to live just fine,” I shot back. “Without destroying hotel rooms or fucking everything that moves.”

Nova laughed. “Ouch. Tell me how you really feel.”

I turned to face him. “I feel like this is going to be the longest ninety days of my life.”

“Good,” he said, voice dropping. “Means you’ll remember every single one of them.”

Later that afternoon, I caught him.

Nova was out on the balcony, talking low on his phone, pacing like he didn’t want to be heard. The moment I stepped outside, he ended the call too quickly.

“Who was that?” I asked, suspicion rising.

“Just my manager.”

“Bullshit. Hand over the phone.”

He raised an eyebrow. “You serious?”

“Dead serious. Give it.”

When he didn’t move, I reached for it. Nova pulled it back, but I grabbed his wrist. What started as a simple tug turned into a full struggle.

He was stronger, but I was trained. We crashed through the balcony door back into the living room, bodies pressed together as we fought for the phone.

“Give it to me, Kane!”

“Make me, baby.”

He suddenly twisted, using my own momentum against me. In one smooth move, he pinned me down on the wide leather couch.

His body covered mine completely — hard muscle, warm skin, that intoxicating scent surrounding me.

My hands were trapped above my head by one of his.

We both froze.

His face hovered inches above mine. Green eyes dark.

Breathing heavy.

For the first time, the teasing disappeared. Real hunger stared back at me.

“Fuck,” he whispered, gaze dropping to my lips. “You feel better than I imagined.”

I should have pushed him off. I should have said something sharp.

But for a few dangerous seconds, I just lay there, feeling every inch of him pressed against me.

The heat. The strength.

The way his hips settled perfectly between my thighs.

Desire — raw and unwanted — flashed hot through my body.

Nova’s voice turned rough. “Careful, Detective. Keep touching me like that and these handcuffs won’t be used on me.”

His grip tightened on my wrists, eyes blazing with challenge and filthy promise.

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 13: Silent War

Sienna’s POV I woke up with a heavy weight in my chest and zero intention of letting Nova see it. The morning light felt too bright, too normal for the mess I was in. I dressed in my most professional clothes — crisp button-up and slacks — and walked into the kitchen like I was reporting for duty. Nova was already there, shirtless as usual, sliding a plate of eggs and toast across the island the second I entered. “Made your favorite,” he said, voice careful. “Extra butter on the toast. Coffee with caramel.” I didn’t even glance at the plate. “New rules. From now on, we communicate only when necessary. No personal conversations. No gifts. No music. I check in with my captain twice a day. You stay in my line of sight but we keep our distance.” He stared at me. “Sienna…” “Detective Vale,” I corrected coldly, pouring my own coffee. “That’s how this should’ve stayed from the beginning.” Nova’s jaw tightened, but he didn’t push. Not yet. Throughout the morning, he tried. He left

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 12: Shattered Trust

Sienna’s POV I didn’t even knock. I shoved the studio door open so hard it slammed against the wall. Nova looked up from his guitar, surprised for half a second before that guarded mask slipped over his face. “You have one week to get the files from the detective… or we come for both of you.” I repeated the words I’d overheard at the gate, my voice shaking with rage. “Who the hell was that man, Nova? And what files are they talking about?” He set the guitar down slowly. “Sienna—” “Don’t you dare ‘Sienna’ me right now.” I stepped closer, fists clenched at my sides. “I trusted you enough to let you inside my body. I listened to your sad stories about your old band. And the whole time you’ve been using me? Tell me the truth. All of it. Right now.” Nova stood up, running a hand through his messy hair. “It’s not what you think.” “Not what I think?” I laughed bitterly. “I heard him threaten both of us. You met him in secret in the middle of the night. How stupid do you think I am?” H

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 11: Tangled Lies

Sienna’s POV My hands wouldn’t stop shaking as I stormed through the mansion the morning after Captain Reyes’ call. Photos. Someone had leaked photos of me and Nova in the pool — my back against the wall, his hand clearly between my legs. Internal Affairs was now “looking into it.” My career was hanging by a thread. I found Nova in the living room and didn’t give him a chance to speak first. “Stay the hell away from me,” I snapped. “I need space. Real space. No more touching, no more games, no more of whatever this toxic shit is between us.” Nova’s green eyes narrowed. He set his coffee down slowly. “You think you can just switch it off after I was buried inside you? After you screamed my name like you couldn’t get enough?” “That was a mistake,” I said, backing up as he stepped closer. “Everything since I walked into this house has been one giant mistake. I’m requesting a replacement supervisor today.” He moved fast, grabbing my arm and pulling me toward his recording studi

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 10: Breaking Her Walls

Sienna’s POV I stormed out of my room the next morning with Nova’s phone clutched in my hand like a weapon. My body still ached from yesterday, but the anger burned hotter than any leftover pleasure. “You son of a bitch,” I snapped, slamming the phone down on the kitchen island. “Explain these messages. Right now.” Nova froze with a coffee mug halfway to his lips. His green eyes narrowed. “You went through my shit?” “Don’t you dare turn this on me!” My voice rose. “ ‘Seduce her, get the evidence, or she dies too’? What the hell is that supposed to mean, Nova? Were you using me this whole time? Playing the damaged rockstar so I’d let my guard down?” He set the mug down hard. “It’s not what you think.” “Then tell me what it is!” I shouted, stepping closer. “Because right now it looks like I’m just another job to you. Another pussy to fuck while you handle your dirty business.” Nova’s face twisted with anger. He grabbed my arms, not hard enough to hurt but firm enough to hold m

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 9: Dangerous Secrets

Sienna’s POV The kitchen still smelled like sex and pancakes when I finally found my voice again. Nova stood there, phone in hand, his face completely shut down. That dark, cold look I’d never seen before sent ice down my spine. “What did the message say?” I demanded, sliding off the counter and fixing my shorts. “Nothing important.” He shrugged, too casual, and set the phone face-down. “Just label bullshit. You know how they are.” “Bullshit.” I stepped closer, heart still racing from the orgasm he’d given me. “I saw your face, Nova. You looked ready to kill someone. Tell me the truth.” He reached for me, pulling me against his bare chest. His hands slid down my back, gripping my ass possessively. “Why talk when I can do this instead?” His mouth claimed mine before I could argue. The kiss was deep and distracting, his tongue stroking mine in a way that made my knees weak. I pushed at his chest, but he only held me tighter, grinding his hard cock against my stomach through his

  • CUFFED TO THE ROCKSTAR   Chapter 8: Addicted

Nova’s POV I woke up with the taste of her still on my tongue and my cock hard enough to cut glass. Last night in the pool kept replaying in my head — Sienna falling apart on my fingers, that sweet moan when she came, then the sharp sting of her slap. Fuck, I wanted more. I wanted everything. She’d been avoiding me all morning. Hiding in her room like a scared little rabbit. Not today. I stood in the kitchen wearing only gray sweatpants, low on my hips, and started making breakfast. Pancakes, bacon, fresh coffee. The works. Let her try to ignore this. The smell finally dragged her out. Sienna walked in wearing a loose t-shirt and shorts, hair still messy from sleep. Her eyes flicked over my bare chest and quickly looked away. “Morning, Detective,” I said, flipping a pancake. “You ran away pretty fast last night.” She grabbed a mug and poured coffee without looking at me. “I’m not doing this, Nova. Last night was a mistake. It won’t happen again.” I turned off the stove and st
