My heart hammered against my ribs as Lucian gently tugged me down the quiet back staircase. The school was emptying fast, the usual loud chatter fading into distant echoes. His hand was warm around mine strong, confident. I knew I should pull away. Every logical part of me screamed that this was dangerous. Mia’s warning note still burned in my mind. But my body… my body wanted to follow him.

We slipped into a dimly lit hallway on the old wing of the building, the one rarely used after classes. Dust danced in the slanting afternoon light coming through the high windows. Lucian pushed open the door to an empty classroom at the end and pulled me inside, closing it softly behind us.

“Lucian…” I started, my voice barely above a whisper.

He turned to me, his green eyes darker than usual in the low light. Without saying anything at first, he stepped closer until my back gently touched the cool wall. His tall frame towered over me, making me feel small and strangely protected at the same time.

Slowly, almost reverently, he lifted his hand and traced my bottom lip with his thumb. The touch was feather light, but it sent electricity shooting through me. My breath hitched.

“You’re so soft,” he murmured, his voice husky. “Everywhere.”

His fingers trailed down, brushing along my jaw, my neck, and then lower. When his palm cupped my full breast through my uniform blouse, I gasped. The heat of his hand seeped through the fabric. My nipple tightened instantly under his touch.

“Lucian…” I almost moaned his name, my breath coming quicker now. My chest rose and fell rapidly against his hand. A warm, aching pulse started between my thighs.

“Please, Lily,” he whispered, leaning in so his forehead rested gently against mine. “Let me touch you. Just for a little while. Every time I look at you, you make my heart race like crazy. Those curves… your soft body… I can’t stop thinking about holding you. I like you, Lily. I really like you. And I know you like me too. You’re such a quiet, shy girl, but I see the way you look at me when you think I’m not watching.”

He squeezed my breast gently, thumb circling over the hardening peak. I bit my lip to hold back another sound. It felt so good too good. No one had ever touched me like this. Not with this kind of hunger.

“I want you,” he continued, voice dropping even lower as his other hand settled on my wide hip, pulling me closer. “I want to feel every inch of you. The way your thick thighs would wrap around me. How soft and warm you’d be pressed against me. I’ve been going crazy imagining it. Let me show you how much I crave you, curvy girl.”

His words wrapped around me like smoke. For a moment, I let myself lean into him, my hands coming up to grip his shirt. His mouth hovered so close to mine. I could almost taste the kiss I knew would be explosive.

But then reality crashed back.

Mia’s face flashed in my mind her hateful glare, her threats, her promise to ruin me. I couldn’t do this. Not like this. Not when it would give her more ammunition to destroy me.

I pushed against his chest, harder than I meant to. “No… Lucian, stop. We can’t.”

He stepped back immediately, though his hands lingered for a second longer, reluctant to let go. Confusion and desire warred on his handsome face. “Lily, wait”

“I’m sorry,” I whispered, tears stinging my eyes. “I can’t. My sister… she’ll kill me. She’ll destroy everything.”

Before he could say anything else, I slipped past him and ran.

I burst out of the classroom, my legs carrying me down the hallway as fast as they could. My breasts bounced heavily with each step, my skirt swishing against my thick thighs. My face burned with a mix of shame, arousal, and fear. What had I almost done?

I didn’t stop running until I reached the side exit near the parking lot. Leaning against the wall to catch my breath, I tried to calm my racing heart.

That’s when I felt it eyes on me.

I turned my head slowly.

Mia stood partially hidden behind a pillar a short distance away, her arms crossed. Her expression was pure ice-cold fury. She had seen everything. Or enough.

A slow, dangerous smile curved her lips as our eyes met.

“I will destroy you, Lily,” she mouthed silently, the words clear enough to freeze my blood.

Then she turned and disappeared around the corner, leaving me standing there trembling.

Chapter 29Lily’s POVThe pain in my ankle was sharp and throbbing as the nurse helped me off the field. I clutched the crutches tightly, trying not to cry in front of everyone. The entire class was watching. Some with pity. Others with amusement. Mia’s satisfied smile from the sidelines burned into my memory.Of course it was her. The way she had positioned herself near my lane. The perfectly timed trip. She had planned this. Just like she planned everything else.I was on crutches for at least two weeks, the nurse said. No running. No sports. No easy way to escape the hallways where everyone stared at me. I hobbled to my next class, the pain in my ankle nothing compared to the ache in my chest.Lucian had walked away with Mia. I had seen her grab his arm, leaning into him as they left the field together. The image replayed in my mind all afternoon. Her slim body pressed against his. Her laughter. The way she looked at me with triumph in her eyes.By the time I got home, I was exhaus

Chapter 28I went home with a heavy heart. Lucian had insisted on walking me part of the way, his hand gently holding mine until we reached the corner of my street. He kissed my forehead softly before letting me go. “Be safe,” he whispered. “Text me when you’re home.”But instead of leaving, he followed me.“Lily, let me walk you home.”I looked into his eyes and found myself unable to refuse.“Okay.”I was terrified that Mom and Mia would find out I had been with Lucian, but despite my fears, I let him come with me anyway. When I stepped through the front door, Mom was waiting in the living room. Her face was tight with anger. Before I could even open my mouth to explain, her hand flew across my face. The slap was sharp and stinging. I stumbled back, my cheek burning.“Mom” I started, tears already forming.Lucian, who had followed me to the door out of concern, stepped forward. “Ma’am, please let me explain. It wasn’t what you think”“Get out!” Mom shouted, pointing at the door. “You

When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was the soft, unfamiliar bed beneath me. My head throbbed with a dull, persistent ache, like someone had hit me with a hammer and left the pain behind as a souvenir. The room was dimly lit, the curtains drawn, and the faint scent of Lucian’s cologne lingered in the air. I blinked slowly, trying to make sense of where I was.Lucian’s bed.I sat up too quickly, wincing as the headache intensified. My clothes were dry now someone had changed me into one of his oversized shirts. The realization made my cheeks burn. I looked around the room: simple, masculine, with a few trophies on the shelf and a photo of him with his family on the nightstand. It felt intimate. Too intimate.Lucian was sitting in a chair beside the bed, his elbows on his knees, watching me with worried eyes. His hair was still slightly damp from the rain, and there was a small cut on his lip from the earlier fight with Max.“You’re awake,” he said softly, relief flooding his voi

I waited in school longer than I should have. The library had become my hiding place during the last period, and I must have dozed off while pretending to read. When I woke up, the wall clock in the dim corner showed it was past 9 PM. Panic surged through me. The school was almost empty, the hallways dark and silent.“Oh God,” I whispered, grabbing my bag and rushing out.It was raining heavily outside. The downpour was relentless, soaking me instantly as I stepped into the night. I had no choice but to walk home. My uniform clung to my body, my shoes squelching with every step. The rain mixed with the tears already forming in my eyes. After a few minutes of walking, I noticed someone behind me. At first, I thought it was a mistake just another person heading the same way. But when I quickened my pace, they did too. My heart started beating faster. I took a few more hurried steps, glancing over my shoulder. Three boys. Their faces were hidden in the shadows, but I recognized the way

I dragged myself out of bed the next morning, my eyes still puffy from another night of silent crying. The mirror in our small bathroom showed a girl I barely recognized tired eyes, pale skin, and a defeated slump in my shoulders. I stared at my reflection for a long moment, the weight of everything pressing down on me. Enough, I told myself. No more trouble. No more heartbreak. No more hoping for things that only hurt me. I made a promise right there in front of the mirror. From today on, I would avoid any drama. I would keep my head down, focus on graduating, and protect what little peace I had left. I opened my phone, deleted every soft post I had saved about Lucian the secret screenshots of his texts, the photos I had taken of him from afar. My thumb hovered over his contact for a second before I blocked and deleted his number too. It hurt, but it was necessary. I got to school with my walls firmly in place. Lucian tried to talk to me almost immediately. He waited near my lock

  • CURVES OF ENVY: THE PLUS-SIZE TWIN HE CRAVED   Chapter 24

I woke up with red, swollen eyes, the kind that made it obvious I had cried myself to sleep. My face felt puffy, my head throbbed with a dull ache, and my chest felt like it had been hollowed out overnight. The pain from overhearing Sam and Ben’s conversation still sat heavy inside me, like a stone lodged in my heart that refused to move.Mia was already awake, sitting on her bed and scrolling through her phone. When she looked up and saw my face, her expression shifted from casual indifference to mild curiosity.“Why are you like this?” she asked, tilting her head. There was no real concern in her voice only a detached interest, like I was some strange specimen she was studying. “Whatever made you like this… I’m happy about it.”Her words were the final crack in the dam.Anger and heartbreak surged through me all at once. I sat up in bed, my voice cracking as I shouted her name. “Why, Mia?! Why won’t you love me even once?!”The words poured out of me like a flood I could no longer h
