"I'm not yours," Laura slapped his hand off and shifted back.

He kept coming closer, and she also took slow steps back, but unfortunately, she came to a dead end as her back touched the door.

He got to her and placed his boths hands on either side, leaning close to her ear.

"I love the innocent stares you give me. It drives me crazy," he whispered.

Aurora tried pushing him, but it was useless as she made him wrap a hand around her waist.

"Don't act tough. It doesn't suit you," he said, releasing her as he took a step back.

"You can leave," he added.

Laura didn't hesitate as she quickly turned the door handle and ran out.

Scott chuckled as he remembered the day he first saw her Laura.

*FLASHBACK*

****

"I think since my company is in fourth best, we could work something out and become business partners," Mr Smith suggested.

Scott's schedule was less busy that day, and since Mr Smith has been begging him to come visit, he decided to.

He already knew Mr Smith's reason for calling him over, but he still came to say his answer clearly to his face.

He was Scott Williams, owner of the three largest software production companies in New York, and didn't need to partner with competitors.

"No," Scott said curtly, standing up.

"What?" Mr Smith asked, shocked by the quick rejection.

"If that's all you have to say, then I might as well take my leave," Scott turned towards the door.

Mr Smith balled his fist angrily but decided to maintain composure as he forced a smile.

"I should escort you to your car, at least. You came all this way, and it'll be unprofessional to let you go that way," Mr Smith said, standing up too.

"Whatever," Scott replied as he walked out.

Mr Smith quickly went after him, still trying to start another conversation. Scott wasn't a fan of long talks.

Just as they stepped down the last stair leading upstairs, Scott sighted Laura.

It was as if she felt his gaze when she turned to face him, the both of them locking eyes.

For a moment, he saw something that intrigued him in those green eyes of hers.

Innocence. The innocent look in her eyes made him want to claim her. She was all he wanted.

Beautiful, long blonde hair, button nose, cute plump lips, and a heart-shaped face.

She looked similar to Rose due to their matching hair and eyes color, making him assume she was her Joseline's daughter.

"And that's my wife Rose, " Mr Smith said, interrupting his thoughts.

Joseline walked up to them immediately.

"Nice to meet you, Mr Williams," Rose smiled.

Scott nodded as he continued walking away, with the both of them following closely beside.

"Did he agree to partner with you ?" Rose asked Mr Smith.

"Ehm, he said..."

"Yes," Scott trailed Mr. Smith off.

"What?" Mr Smith's eyes widened.

"I'll partner with you under one condition," Scott added.

"Sure. What's the condition? What do you want?" Rose asked, excited.

"Her," he said, and they turned to Laura.

"Huh?" Rose looked back at him puzzled.

"Who's she?" He asked.

"Ehm... she's my niece," Rose replied.

"Hmm," he hummed.

Since she wasn't their biological child and with the way she was kneeling proved that having her would be easier than expected.

"I get her as mine. My contracted wife for six months, and I'll partner with your company for six months," Scott clarified.

"What about forever?" Rose quickly asked.

"No. Six months is enough," Scott replied.

With that, he continued walking away with Mr Smith still escorting him.

He was planning on making those six months a memory she would never forget.

Mr Smith waved him fare well as they got to his car where his guards and driver were waiting. He ignored the fare well and hopped into the car.

His driver started the car, and they zoomed out of the mansion.

END OF FLASHBACK

Scott walked towards his bathroom to change. He already assigned a maid in charge of Aurora and was sure she was in her room already.

****

Aurora sighed as she stepped into her room, shown to her by Amelia, the maid in charge of her personal needs.

Her bedroom was a luxurious retreat. Soft, golden light filled the room from floor-to-ceiling windows.

A huge, plush bed sat in the center, covered in silky white sheets and piled high with fluffy pillows.

A sleek, modern dresser and nightstand gleamed in the dim light, adorned with diamonds and designer perfume. The room smelled of expensive flowers.

Her heart raced as she remembered Scott's words earlier.

'You're mine now, little dove.'

"What does he mean by I'm his? Does he think I'll let him touch me ? He might as well keep dreaming," she muttered, getting out of the wedding dress.

She made her way into the immaculate bathroom and took a long shower before stepping out.

She walked to her wardrobe and found it filled with clothes.

"He really prepared for my arrival," she muttered.

She scrolled through the clothes and settled for a velvet night dress.

The thought of George crossed her mind and wanted to call Doctor Connor to confirm if the transplant was successful when it dawned on her. She forgot her phone at Joseline's place.

She sighed as she dropped her weight on the soft bed.

"I hope you made it through the operation successfully," she muttered, staring at the ceiling till she dozed off.

*NEXT DAY 7 PM*

Scott finished rounding up his work for the day. He was feeling slightly impatient, which was unusual of him.

He picked up his phone, leaving his assistant James, to get the rest of his things.

He arrived at the huge underground garage and as usual his guards and driver were waiting for him.

He got into the car, and the driver zoomed off, heading straight to his mansion.

****

Laura stuffed some chips into her mouth as she stared at down at the city night view from the balcony where she stood.

She soon saw Scott's car drove into the compound and a frown appeared on her face.

She quickly returned to her room and slipped under the sheets, pretending to be asleep.

Just as she thought, knock sounded from the door, but she still remained still.

The sound of the door opening was the next thing she heard before someone tapped her gently.

She could tell it was Amelia. Her eyes remained closed.

"I saw you when you ran back inside," Amelia said, and her eyes flickered open.

"Master wants you in his room now, but before that, follow me." Amelia said.

Aurora reluctantly got off the bed and followed her.

They got to another room. It wasn't a bedroom. It was more like a place to take a spa bath, a washroom.

Four maids were sitting around the large bath tub, which had soap in it already.

"Why am I here?" Laura finally asked.

"Master asked us to wash you up," she replied.

"Wash me up ? I can actually do that myself," Laura frowned.

"We know, but..."

"Don't expect me to let you bathe me. Just leave. I'll do it myself," she interrupted.

The maids didn't move, like what she said meant nothing to them.

Knowing they weren't going to budge, she stripped off her clothes and got into the tub.

After a couple of minutes, they were done bathing her. She wore a robe before being escorted by Amelia to Scott's door.

"What now ?" She asked.

"Just go in and find out yourself. Good luck." Amelia replied before walking away.

She exhaled as she slowly turned the door's handle. She stepped into the room, and it was dimly lit. I bit darker than before.

She closed the door and turned to face the room again. Scott was behind her.

She swallowed, feeling nervous.

"Why did you call for me?" she asked, trying to sound brave, but her voice betrayed her as it came out barely audible.

His presence alone was intimidating.

"Have you forgotten?" He asked, walking up to her.

"Forgotten what?" She asked, taking a step back but forgot she was already standing next to the door.

He wrapped his hand around her waist leaning closer his warm breath brushing against her earlobe.

"It's Friday," he whispered.

her eyes widened.

How could she forget so easily? If she had known, she wouldn't have come in the first place.

Her heart pounded against her ribcage as her eyes met with his.

"I'm gonna make you scream my name tonight," Scott smirked.

She tried pushing him off but couldn't. He scup her into his arms in a bridal style and walked to bed.

He dropped her on it and hopped on the bed, joining her.

"You can't do this?" She shook her head as she tried to stand up, but he pinned her back down.

"I can."

"I like it rough. Try not to cry," he added.

Laura felt like she’d been slapped. “That’s not fair.”“Fair or not, it’s true,” Scott said. “You signed a contract giving me control of your life for sixmonths, how you spend money, who you see, where you go.”“You’re seriously using the contract card now?” Laura asked, tears starting. “After everything we’ve been through?”“You’re the one who broke our agreement,” Scott said. “Not me.”“I was helping my sister,” Laura said. “I didn’t think I needed permission.”“You don’t,” Scott said. “But you do need to be honest and you haven’t been.”“Because you wouldn’t listen,” Laura argued.“No. Because you knew I’d say it was a bad idea,” Scott replied. “So you hoped I wouldn’tfind out.”Laura couldn’t deny it, it was true.
