INICIAR SESIÓNRolling over, he pinned the drunken little kitten beneath him. He stared down at her, a dark fire burning in his gaze.
"Little Nell..."
This nickname made Eleanor pause her struggles. She tilted her head in confusion, as if she were trying to recall something.
After a moment, she suddenly grew angry.
"Who said you could call me Little Nell? You aren't allowed to call me that! Little Nell is a nickname only the boy from my childhood can use. Even if I can't find him right now, you still aren't allowed to use that name, you bad man."
Sebastian's gaze lit up instantly, shining with clarity before settling.
He stared deeply at the intoxicated, bleary-eyed Eleanor.
"Little Nell, you still remember me... you still remember me..."
"Remember you? Who are you? Stop shaking so I can see you."
As she spoke, she grabbed Sebastian's cheeks again, widening her drunken eyes as she tried her hardest to focus.
Then, she raised a hand and lightly slapped Sebastian's face.
"I told you to stop shaking. You're still moving. You have three heads! How am I supposed to see you clearly?"
This unreasonable little drunkard instantly shattered the romantic mood building in Sebastian's heart. He was still clinging to the sweet memories of the past, but the slap sobered him up a bit.
He raised his hand and gently pinched Eleanor's nose.
"Little girl, I'll let you off this time. But the next time you dare to get drunk and seduce me, I'll eat you alive!"
With that said, Sebastian tried to get out of bed to take a cold shower; otherwise, he was definitely going to die of heat exhaustion.
But as soon as one foot touched the floor, she grabbed his arm. The drunken little wildcat pulled Sebastian straight back onto the bed. Then, she boldly threw her leg over him and straddled his waist.
She raised her chin arrogantly and poked Sebastian's shoulder.
"You're not allowed to leave. You haven't told me who you are yet! Tell me, who are you, and why did you call me Little Nell?"
Sebastian stared deeply at Eleanor as smile played on his lips.
He raised his hand and gently caressed her face.
"Little girl, remember this: my name is Sebastian Lockwood."
"Sebastian Lockwood..."
Eleanor murmured. Her sweet voice was softened by the alcohol, making it sound incredibly charming.
Sebastian felt his heart melt hearing his name fall from her lips. He wished he could hold her in the palm of his hand and pamper her forever.
His large hands moved up, caressing Eleanor's slender waist.
The soft yet firm skin in his fingertips made Sebastian's heart tremble, and heat surged through his veins.
"Little Nell..." he whispered softly, his eyes darkening with desire.
Eleanor smiled coquettishly, lowering her body to move closer to Sebastian.
"Sebastian... hehe, Sebastian..."
Thud!
Her head dropped heavily onto Sebastian's shoulder, and Eleanor fell fast asleep in seconds.
Sebastian blinked. He turned his head to check and realised that the little girl who had just turned him on was out cold!
Taking a frustrated breath, Sebastian gently rolled her off him and onto the mattress, lightly patting her cheek with his hand.
"Little Nell?"
"Little Nell!"
"Damn it!"
After cursing under his breath, Sebastian decided he still needed that cold shower.
"You're a bastard..."
Eleanor muttered, throwing her leg over Sebastian to pin him down. A moment later, like a clinging octopus, her arms and legs were completely wrapped around the extremely frustrated man.
Sebastian felt the heat coursing through his body, along with his very obvious state of arousal... and simply closed his eyes in defeat.
"Oh, for fuck's sake..."
...
It was dawn, and the morning sun streamed through the window, shining directly onto the sleeping woman.
Eleanor opened her eyes and yawned lazily, feeling that she'd had an incredibly good night's sleep.
Wait, where was she?
Rubbing her aching head, Eleanor looked around in bewilderment. Her eyes widened, and she suddenly sat bolt upright, looking down at herself.
A bathrobe! She was wearing nothing underneath a bathrobe! Her hair was an utter mess.
Tugging at her hair and thinking hard, she could only recall having drinks with Beatrice last night. Everything after that was blank.
Swish, swish...
The sound of running water echoed through the room, and she whipped her head around to look.
The bathroom? Someone was in there!
She looked down at the bathrobe she was wearing, then up at the bathroom where the water was still running. Her heart sank with a heavy thud.
What on earth! Had she been taken advantage of? But why didn't she feel any different?
Confused and panicked, she quickly jumped out of bed. Glancing around the room, her eyes lit up when she spotted a brand-new set of women's clothes, tags still attached, sitting on a chair.
She quickly ripped off the tags and threw the clothes on. Barefoot, Eleanor bolted towards the door.
Just as her hand touched the doorknob, she hesitated, then rushed back into the room. She grabbed a sticky note, quickly scribbled two lines, emptied all the cash from her handbag, and slammed it down onto the table.
Then, she slipped on a pair of hotel slippers and sprinted to the door again. This time, she left without a second thought.
When Sebastian stepped out of the shower, the little beauty in the room had vanished.
He chuckled and walked over to the chair.
Very good. The clothes he'd had specially prepared for Eleanor were gone, which proved that although the little girl had panicked, she hadn't completely lost her mind. At least she hadn't run out into the street in a hotel bathrobe.
Hmm? What was that?
Sebastian raised an eyebrow and picked up the note left on the table. The handwriting was elegant but clearly scribbled in a rush.
"I'm sorry, I took the clothes, so I'm leaving this cash to pay you back. Keep the change as a tip!"
Sebastian's mouth twitched violently.
A tip! What did this little girl take him for? A male escort, or...
Very good, little girl. You've successfully managed to piss me off!
Sebastian crumpled the note tightly in his fist, a dangerously dark smile spreading across his face.
Eleanor practically ran all the way back to her flat in a state of embarrassment, her heart hammering against her ribs. She pulled out her mobile phone and dialled Beatrice's number.
After only two rings, the call connected, and a pleasant male voice came through the receiver.
"Hello?"
Eleanor's eyes went wide, and she quickly hung up.
"Oh my god, why did a man answer Bea's phone? What on earth happened last night? She wouldn't have been taken advantage of by some bloke... It's over, it's a disaster, how am I going to explain this to her partner!"
Eleanor paced around nervously for a while before dialling Beatrice's number again. When the call went through, she held her breath and offered a cautious, "Hello?"
"Eleanor Whitfield, have you not eaten breakfast or something? Speak up, I can barely hear you!"
The familiar voice, the familiar tone... Eleanor instantly felt a wave of relief.
"Bea, a man answered your phone just now! You... you didn't go and do something stupid with another bloke behind your partner's back, did you?"
"Piss off, that was my brother! Eleanor, you are totally shameless. I stayed out with you last night getting smashed, didn't even go home, and now you're accusing me of cheating? Unbelievable!"
Eleanor stuck her tongue out sheepishly, completely relieved.
"Bea, do you actually remember what happened last night? Why did I wake up in a hotel?"
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line before Beatrice let out a screech.
"Damn it! That gorgeous bloke looked like a gentleman, but clearly he doesn't mess about! I thought he was just taking you home, but he actually took you straight to a hotel?"
Eleanor had no idea who she was talking about. After Beatrice finished her outburst, she asked slowly, "Bea... who is this handsome bloke you're talking about?"
Beatrice looked bewildered. She couldn't help but scratch her head and reply tentatively, "Er... wasn't he your friend?"
Unexpectedly, Eleanor was even more at a loss, but she still replied firmly, "No!"
The two of them paused for a moment, and then, simultaneously, yelled down the phone at each other.
"Fuck!"
In the room.Eleanor sat on the bed with her knees bent, looking at the bright red strawberries on her body, her teeth itching with hatred. She really hadn’t expected that Sebastian, who seemed to be quite a gentleman, would actually do something like breaking into a woman’s room at night!Eleanor kept complaining in her heart, but after complaining for a long time, she suddenly thought of something. For example, had Sebastian really forced his way into her room? For another example, Sebastian seemed to have called her “Little Nell” just now. For another example, she seemed to have had a dream, dreaming of her little brother…Thoughts popped up one by one, and Eleanor soon discovered an amazing fact! The “Little Nell” she heard in the dream was not called out by the person in the dream at all — it existed in reality! Moreover, from her vague fragments, it should be that she had been having a nightmare and Sebastian had come to wake her up, but in the end she had ended up entangled on
Sebastian was thoughtful. As he looked at Eleanor, who was crying softly and shouting “little brother, run” and “don’t catch my little brother” from time to time, his heart also clenched into a ball.He lay silently beside her, reached out to hold her in his arms, and rested his forehead on the top of her hair, his movements gentle. He lowered his voice and no longer restrained his emotions the way he would during the day, but called “Little Nell” over and over again, as if to echo the “little brother” she was calling in her dream. When ordinary people have nightmares, they usually wake from their dreams if someone is by their side, but Eleanor didn’t wake up; right now, she kept running in the dream.“Stop chasing! Stop chasing!”The young Eleanor was panting, two lines of tears on her face; she was filthy like a little beggar, but those grape-like eyes were black and bright, which made people adore her on sight.“Hey — you think that if you say ‘stop chasing,’ we’ll just stop? I cha
Sebastian Lockwood watched Eleanor avoid his sight like a tortoise and limp to the side. And it was not that he couldn’t see it — the pyjamas she was wearing were much more conservative than before. When Theo ran away from home and was delivered to her, she had come out of the bathroom with a bath towel around her. This time she was wearing a set of conservative pyjamas — the difference really was… big!Sebastian inexplicably felt that she was wearing this set of pyjamas to protect herself, so he touched his nose involuntarily. Do I really look like a person full of lust? Sebastian was thinking this in his heart, but then he saw her walking — no, it should be said, she was moving forward — she still stepped forward.“I’ll help you.” He spoke directly.Eleanor thought he was going to get the wound medicine from her bedroom, so she nodded. “Okay, thank you…”Before she could finish speaking, she was hugged by Sebastian.Eleanor stared at Sebastian like a frightened little sheep. He didn
"Auntie Wife~"Theo looked up at a deeply conflicted Eleanor and tugged pitifully at her sleeve."Please just let my dad live here. Don't worry, he'll pay you the rent, cover the gas and electric, and handle all the bills! We absolutely will not live here for free!"He patted his little chest proudly and promised, "I guarantee it on my honour!"Eleanor felt as though a flock of crows had just flown over her head, cawing mockingly. The idea of asking Sebastian Lockwood to stay was far too abrupt, but seeing Theo's pleading little face, she found it incredibly difficult to say no.What a nightmare.Eleanor thought for a moment, then said gently, "I'm not worried about you living here for free."It was obvious that Sebastian was not the stingy, boorish type. Everything about him radiated wealth and high-class sophistication.Whatever his background was, it was certainly well beyond her own social circles. She definitely wasn't worried about his ability to pay the rent. The issue was enti
What Theo had said felt backward to Eleanor.Leaving aside the ridiculous notion of 'looking at all of her' and 'taking responsibility,' she was only in her twenties. Compared to Theo, she was practically ancient, and he was nothing but a tiny sapling.More importantly, did this child even understand what moving in together meant?Lost for words, Eleanor hopped silently back towards the sofa on her good foot.Watching her, Theo scratched his head in confusion. Then, he lifted his own foot and began to hop along behind her, mimicking her exact movements.Hearing the thumping behind her, Eleanor turned around. Seeing the little boy perfectly mirroring her awkward limp, her face fell. "Theo.""What is it?"Theo looked up at her with his innocent face.Eleanor pursed her lips slightly, the corners of her mouth turning down in displeasure.Smart Theo noticed she was unhappy. He scratched his head again. "Auntie, are you upset?""I am.""I'm hopping like this because my ankle is injured. Bu
Having witnessed the entire saga of Sebastian Lockwood's emotional fluctuations, Charles simply nodded, secretly licking his tongue in amusement. He had never seen ‘Uncle Seb’ so emotionally transparent before. Not only had he witnessed it this time, but he also knew exactly who was responsible.*Heh. I could definitely win a bet with this information,* Charles mused mischievously, though not a trace of it showed on his face. After Charles left and the door clicked shut, only Sebastian and Eleanor remained in the examination room.Because of her recent discovery, Eleanor stayed silent, keeping her head bowed as she tried to piece together the real reason Sebastian had brought her here.Sebastian, on the other hand, had initially been waiting for her to speak first. When he was met with nothing but silence, he couldn't hold back any longer and asked directly."How did you get hurt?""What?""How did you get injured?"Eleanor seemed slightly confused, prompting Sebastian to repeat his q
