I glanced at Winter and noticed her eyes were wide with fear as another growl was heard. She knew it was from Parker.

I placed a finger over my lips as I allowed my ears to listen for any trace of sounds different from the nature around us. My stomach clenched. Why do I feel so excited? This is very exciting.

'Let's give him a good chase,’ Mia suggested as my mate's scent got stronger. I frowned at her.

'Remember what he said he would do if I ran away from him? His wolf would take over,'I reminded her.

I could feel Mia roll her eyes at me, 'Come on, he's our mate. And the chase would be fun, I promise.' I let out a deep sigh finally agreeing with her.

Winter was crouching on the branch she was on and scanned the area below us. I did the same.

Parker's scent was now stronger than ever but he wasn't in Winter's or my view. Mia paced back and forth.

'He's here, but I don't know where!'

I gulped as I glanced over at Winter who's eyes were trained on me. This is kind of scary. I'm afraid he'll just come out of nowhere and kill me.

OK, that's a little extreme.

Her eyes stared at me and fear was evident in her eyes. They then moved to something behind me. A low growl erupted from behind me causing me to jump a little. Slowly, I turned around and came face to face with Parker. My hold on my shoes and on the tree tightened.

Somehow Parker managed to climb the tree quietly and was sitting on the branch behind me. His eyes held a predatory glint in them as he examined me. I quickly glanced at the ground under me. Maybe if I jump I won't die? I am a werewolf after all.

My eyes landed on a smaller branch a few feet under the one I was on that I could easily jump onto and then make it to the ground in one piece. Without another thought I quickly slid off the branch and jumped onto the other. A growl came from Parker. I snapped my head up and noticed he was quickly coming down knowing what I was planning. Without hesitating, I jumped to the ground and took off into a sprint not sparing a glance behind me.

I picked up speed ignoring the pain of all the sticks and rocks I stepped on, but it's not the first time I've run through the forest without shoes on. My hat blew off my head but I didn't bother stopping. Instead, I threw my shoes to the side somewhere. I can always get a new pair, they were uncomfortable anyways.

"Jasmine!" Parker's voice growled out from behind me. Shit, he's so close behind me.

'Come on, Mia. We need to run faster, please help me here. He's too fast,' I pleaded as my feet felt like they were going to give out sometime soon. Mia happily complied as she took over and I started to run faster. It literally felt like I wasn't even touching the ground. The trees flew by quickly, it's still a mystery how I haven't run into a tree.

I dodged trees as I noticed the edge of the forest. Thinking that it was the way back to the pack house, I ran faster. Once I reached the edge of the forest, I frowned when I realized it was just a clearing. The place was lit up by the moon and stars that shone brightly down and reflected off a stream that ran by the edge of the forest. I smirked as an idea came to my mind.

Quickly, I turned and started to run back the way I came. Parker was right behind me but didn't know I was going to turn around so he slipped when trying to reach out to me. I let a laugh slip my lips as I continued to run.

Before I could get too far, a hand grasped my wrist roughly and pulled me back. A yelp left my lips as I was roughly pushed to a tree. Thank Goddess that I'm wearing a leather jacket or else the bark would have scraped my back.

My eyes widened as Parker towered over me. His hands were holding onto my wrists tightly and his body pressed against mine leaving no space in between. I had to look up at him because of his 6'3 frame standing in front of my 5'3 frame.

Parker's eyes were full of lust and was the darkest color I've ever seen. They were so intense that I knew one wrong move and I would definitely hurt tomorrow. The moonlight shone down on Parker making him look like a god. I'm not kidding! The light makes his skin glow. It's so not fair, his skin is perfect. I break out all the time so I'm constantly using a face scrub on my face.

"I told you not to run away from me," Parker growled as he lowered his face closer to mine.

His minty breath fanned my face. I gulped, staring into his eyes.

"I found you. I deserve something in return," He whispered huskily as his gaze fell down to my lips before going back up to my eyes.

Unconsciously, I licked my lips as the cold air made them feel dry. Parker's eyes darkened even more. Of course I didn't say anything.

Parker smoothly slipped his hand to my ass and cupped it causing me to snap out of my trance from staring into his eyes.

"You have a nice ass," he growled into my ear.

My stomach tightened at his tone and I knew that Mia was enjoying this very much. My skin tingled as his other hand let go of my wrist and looped around the curve of my waist and touched the bare skin.

Damn it, he's taking advantage of me with the mate bond! That's not fair!

"Stop," I breathed out as his nose skimmed the side of my neck. His lips lightly grazed the area where my shoulder and neck met and began to lightly take the skin between his teeth.

I clenched my jaw and squeezed my eyes shut in an attempt to keep the moan from slipping out. I need to make him stop but how?

'Do what he's doing to you, to him. You have to mark him anyways,' Mia suggested. I had no idea how to respond to her. She actually wanted him to stop?

'Well, he is taking advantage of you,' she replied to my thoughts. I actually decided to take her suggestion into consideration.

As Parker started sucking on the skin around the area where he's supposed to mark. Well I guess it's time for him to get a taste of his own medicine. I turned my face so I could plant my lips to his neck. I placed my lips on the part where I'm supposed to mark him. I couldn't help but feel the electrifying feeling as my lips touched his skin. He paused for a second but didn't make a move to stop me from continuing.

I couldn't help but think about how smooth his neck was. I started moving my lips up the side of his neck making sure to lightly suck on his skin without making it hurt. A soft growl came from Parker meaning that he is enjoying this.

My stomach tightened at the sound. I stood on my toes so I could reach higher. I gripped the side of his neck and pushed his head to the side so I could have some more area. My lips reached the sensitive area behind his ear.

Lightly I sucked on this skin. A moan escaped his lips instead of a growl. I couldn't help but get a tight feeling between my legs. I couldn't help but feel proud that I could actually make my mate feel the way he feels right now. His hands were settled on my hips and tightened his grip. Mia kept encouraging me to continue.

I couldn't help but growl at her, 'You set me up!' She laughed at me and I could feel her roll her eyes, 'Well I think it's only fair if you can have control, too!'

"Jasmine," he growled my name out in a warning as my lips made their way down his throat.

"S-Stop," he managed out as another moan left his lips. I felt Parker jr. on my thigh but chose to ignore it. I placed a lingering kiss on his jaw before pulling away and stepping to the side before heading to the sounds of music.

I had a smug look as I left a dazed Parker. It felt amazing to leave the feared Alpha aroused. It seemed weird at how vulnerable he was and how he let me take control.

Mia felt proud because of our accomplishment and I couldn't help but feel proud as well. I heard footsteps behind me until Parker was next to me.

"Where did you learn to do that?" He asked, clearing his throat to cover up what had just taken place. The smirk on my face faded as my lips turned down.

"It doesn't matter," I muttered as I continued to walk ignoring the pain in my feet. I will definitely regret not wearing shoes, even more regretting that I wore heels.

It was Parker's turn to frown. He opened his mouth to say something, probably to yell at me for not answering his question but I cut him off.

"Don't say anything," I snapped before adding quietly with a sigh, "—please." He didn't say anything, to my shock, but I was thankful.

I lazily fell down onto my bed. Today has been a long day. I glanced at my clock on my night stand and let out a sigh.

It was currently 3:47 A.M.

Parker and I decided to come back because there was no point in staying. Everyone was drunk, and I couldn't find Anthony or Sarina. I never found out if they found their mates or not. I'll ask them tomorrow.

I stood up from my bed and changed into a pair of sweatpants and a loose sweatshirt. Afterwards, I made my way to my bathroom and brushed my teeth and removed my make-up.

I climbed into my nice warm bed but frowned when I noticed a bright red rose laying delicately on my pillow.

A rose?

It was probably already here, I just didn't notice. It was probably just Anthony being his own flirty self or just my dad. Shrugging it off I climbed out of my bed and took it to my bathroom. I filled a vase that I randomly had in my room with water and placed the rose inside it. I then took it to my nightstand and sat it by my clock before turning the light off.

My eyes closed and I fell into a deep sleep.

"How did you end up here?" I asked Cyra curiously as I took a bite of my cooked meat. I never asked what it was, because I was too scared to know. It tasted good though."I prefer to live alone, and I was good friends with Alpha Gabriel's parents. They let me stay here if I did business with them. When Gabriel became Alpha he let me stay. I'm glad because I like it here," she responded while eating her dinner. We sat around the fire, the crackling and popping filling in our silence. I finished my dinner before getting up and stretching."So how did you two meet?" Cyra asked. I froze and shared a look with Damien."Uh, we met at an Alpha meeting," I answered her. I hoped she wouldn't ask more about it. I noticed my dad glaring at Damien. He still wasn't too fond of him and just chose not to talk to him more than he had to.Damien nodded his head in agreement. Cyra narrowed her eyes slightly, as if she knew there was more to the story.Damien nodded his head in agreement. Cyra narrowed

I could smell his arousal like he could smell mine. I knew he could smell it. The fact that Damien marked me made the bond even more stronger. The need to mate was stronger. I still needed to mark him and we still needed to complete the bond.I didn't realize that I stepped forward until I lifted my hands and placed it on his chest.Instantly, he reached out to grip my waist. The warmth of his hands spread all throughout my body. I ran my hands down his chest and to his abs. Damien's grip on me tightened as a small groan left his lips. I looked up at him and smirked. He looked down at me, his eyes hooded with lust. He slid his hands down and reached behind me. His hands gripped my ass and gave it a squeeze."Fuck," he groaned, leaning forward so his head rested against my forehead. His breath fanned my face as his lips barely grazed my lips."You're so beautiful," he breathed out as he ran his hands over my curves. He teasingly brushed his lips against mine but didn't fully kiss me. I cringed when I watched a giant, furry spider make its way across the forest floor. I couldn't help but stare at it. Why was it so huge?I watched it crawl around. It moved towards one of Gabriel's men. It stopped in front of his foot. The guy didn't hesitate to take action. My eyes widened when he stepped on the spider. The poor spider. I hated spiders, but I wouldn't have killed them. Instead, I would have just ran as far away from it as possible.I looked away and continued looking around. Hours passed before Cyra called us back in. She made enough of the potion for my dad, Damien, and me."You should wait till tomorrow to go since it's getting late. You need lots of rest, because you're going to use up a lot of energy to get there," she told us. She offered us a smile before adding, "I can also provide you, and those outside, with shelter."She snapped her finger before opening the door to her hut. She gestured for us to go outside. When we stepped out, my eyes widened when I not

The scenery before me was beautiful. It was extremely different from what I was used to. I couldn't help but stare with my mouth gaped.Gabriel barked orders in Portuguese before the car came to a complete stop. He gestured for us to get out, so we did. I was hit by heat and humidity. There was a jeep awaiting us with men already sitting in it. Gabriel followed us out."Good luck, I hope that she'll be able to help you find Luna Jasmine," he said to us."You're not coming?" I asked. He shook his head, "No I've got business to take care of elsewhere."Soon we were in the jeep and off into the rainforest. The sound of life in the forest filled my ears. Sweat was already collecting on my skin. I didn't know how long we were driving.Soon we had to ditch the jeep because the path became too narrowed. We followed the trail for a couple hours until we reached a small hut.We could tell that magic was held within it. It had that aura surrounding it. Dad ordered the men to stay put as we walk

I leaned back in my seat, staring out the window curiously. I watched the clouds beneath us move by."Are you hungry?"I turned my head away from the window and looked at the flight attendant standing there. She smiled at me, with a hopeful glint in her eyes.I returned the smile and nodded."Yeah, can I have a Southwest chicken wrap please?"She nodded and walked away. Damien was sitting in the seat next to me, his eyes closed. I didn't know if he was actually asleep. His facial expression was softer and more relaxed but still just as sexy. His soft lips looked inviting, but I looked away before I could get any ideas. Besides, my dad was sitting just a few seats away. He insisted on coming with us and wouldn't take no for an answer.I stared back out the window until the flight attendant came back with my wrap. I thanked her for it before opening the package. I ate the wrap quickly, finishing it in a few minutes. When I was done, I got up to throw it away.Damien insisted that we tak

"I know where she is!" I shouted as I raced down the stairs, not caring if I tripped and fell on my face.Preston came out of the kitchen, his eyes wide with alert. I took note of how pale he looked. He wasn't there when I arrived, so I was caught off guard a little by how sick he looked."Where is she?" My dad demanded as he emerged from his office down the hall."I saw fire and darkness. She was by herself and tied up," I heard my voice crack as I spoke. "She didn't look hurt at all, except for maybe one cut but that was it. The environment of the place seemed extremely unreal, yet real at the same time..."A look of confusion passed over Preston and my dad's face, while a look of recognition passed over Damien's."I know where she is," Damien mumbled grimly."Where?!" We all asked in unison.Damien hesitated before answering us, "The Demon World."I frowned. The Demon World? What the hell was that?As if noticing our confusion, he continued, "The place is known to be a myth. No one
