Chapter 4

Author: Cocojam
After a suffocating silence, Wyatt marched toward me.

He dropped to one knee right in the muddy water. His movements were incredibly gentle, but his hands were shaking as he picked up the shattered pieces of the fang I had just spat out.

His voice was completely suppressed, like thunder rolling before a hurricane. "Who did this?"

I trembled in terror and whispered my lie: "I... I fell."

"Fell?!"

Blake, my hot-headed third brother, punched a concrete pillar. It cracked.

"This is absolute bullshit! You don't 'fall' and get this!"

Connor, the fifth brother, pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses. Behind the lenses, his eyes were sharp as blades.

"Talk to us, Chloe. Say the word, and this Academy gets a new owner tonight. Whatever Silver Vein Pack they belong to will be wiped off the map."

But I bit my lip hard.

I couldn't say it. Richard had money and power, and Madison said they had people in the Council.

If my brothers were exposed for keeping an outsider, the Crescent Pack would be hit with the heaviest war sanctions.

I stubbornly shook my head, but massive tears betrayed me, rolling down my face.

Seconds ticked by. Suddenly, Wyatt let out a heavy sigh.

He pulled me hard into his massive, warm chest. An incredibly dominant cedarwood Alpha scent wrapped around me entirely, chasing away all the cold.

"Chloe, did you forget who we are?"

His voice was rough, declaring the absolute bottom line of the Crescent Pack.

"You are the treasure we protect with our lives. Screw the Council's laws. Anyone who makes you shed a single tear dies with their entire pack!"

Feeling the agonizing mix of heartbreak and explosive rage in my brothers' eyes.

Feeling that world-ending, absolute protection.

My mental walls completely shattered.

"Wyatt!"

I threw my arms around his neck and broke down sobbing. Crying hysterically, I spilled everything:

"It was Madison... Her dad is Richard, Beta of the Silver Vein Pack...She bullied me every day... And today she crushed the necklace you gave me..."

Wyatt laughed out of pure, unadulterated rage. His eyes were entirely consumed by a bloodthirsty killing intent.

"A bottom-feeding mining pack surviving on the edge of our lands. The absolute nerve."

"That old mutt Richard! Who the hell does he think he is, acting like a king on Crescent Pack territory?!"

"They have a death wish! Touching our heart!"

My brothers' curses echoed, carrying a murderous aura that felt like it could tear the sky apart.

Wyatt's eyes turned as cold as Siberian ice.

A deep, bone-rattling Alpha howl ripped from his throat—a supreme command to the entire pack.

"Mobilize every Enforcer in the city."

"Lock down the entire block around Elite Pack Academy within the hour."

The next morning. Backed by my brothers, I went to school like normal.

I nodded to myself and walked alone toward the gates.

Just as I expected, Madison and her minions were waiting there.

Her father, Richard, was there too. He was holding a printed "Order of Exile" he was planning to force the school to sign.

He was actually still trying to banish me.

Seeing me, Madison raised her voice, dripping with sarcasm: "Well, well. If it isn't the stray who was begging in the mud yester—"

Before she could finish, I walked right past her, my eyes completely deadpan.

Madison froze.

"Chloe!" Enraged, she stomped over in her heels and grabbed my arm.

"Did I say you could leave? Did you forget your lesson yesterday? You packless bitch!"

She raised her claws, aiming a slap right at my face.

But remembering the warmth of my brothers' embrace and their vow, I felt an unprecedented surge of confidence.

In a split second, I caught her wrist mid-air.

I stared right into her shocked eyes and said calmly, "I said, back off."

"You little bitch! You've got some nerve!"

Richard stormed over, furious. He shoved me hard!

I stumbled backward, my spine slamming heavily against the Academy's iron gates.

"You poor trash! Still haven't learned your place, have you?"

Richard waved the exile order, spitting as he pointed at my face.

"I'm going to beat you half to death today, and then send your entire stray family to rot in the wastelands—"

But the next second.

Through the thin morning fog, a blood-curdling, low growl echoed.

In Richard's violently trembling pupils, the shadows shifted. At the end of the street, on the rooftops, in the mist—hundreds of massive figures with glowing green eyes materialized out of nowhere. They completely barricaded the block.

Wyatt, flanked by my four brothers, stepped through the frost.

Hundreds of elite Crescent Pack warrior wolves let out a synchronized growl.

The crushing weight of their supreme Alpha auras hit Richard like a freight train. His bones groaned. He was forced to his knees instantly!

Wyatt looked down at him like a god looking at an insect.

"Touch the Princess of the Crescent Pack again. I dare you."

Five years later. I had mastered my Core Seat on the Council with flying colors. I officially expanded the Crescent Pack's charity and shelter network across the entire alliance, becoming the most respected, powerful Omega in the North. And it was at the gala celebrating my rise to the pinnacle of power... that I met him. His name was Jasper. The strongest Alpha King in the alliance, the Supreme Magistrate who usually ruled from the shadows. Dressed in an impeccably tailored black suit, he walked through the glittering ballroom, straight toward me. The moment our eyes met across the room... Boom. The Mate Bond that had been dormant for over twenty years violently snapped into place! He is my Mate. His dominant cedarwood scent hit me like a massive wave, instantly wrapping around me. He stepped right up to me, looked down, and brushed his warm, calloused fingers against the burning skin of my nape. His voice was devastatingly husky. "Caught you, my Luna." That night, the r

On the day of the Supreme Council's Final Trials, my five brothers wore their most intimidating High Alpha battle gear. A convoy of heavy armored vehicles and elite wolves escorted me from our estate all the way to the Grand Arena. Pack historians and press rushed over, shoving cameras in Wyatt's face. Wyatt looked completely unbothered. "I'm just dropping my sister off for a test." The reporters looked at the elite wolves whose teeth were literally still dripping blood, and wisely stayed quiet. The arena was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. During the defense and survival tests, I showed a level of resilience and tactical genius rarely seen in an Omega. The final assessment was an essay: What Makes a True Pack Leader. My mind flashed to my five brothers—fierce, elegant, wild, and unstoppable. I spoke about the mutual salvation between an abandoned infant and apex predators. I spoke about a ten-year struggle from the darkness into the light. I talked about how they paved a

I quickly pulled up the academy's hallway security footage and paused it the moment the instructor turned around. "Look at the exact angle he twists his wrist. It perfectly matches the way that leader just drew his blade." Blake instantly tapped into the intel network via the mind-link. Seconds later, it was a match. "Blood Moon spies! They infiltrated the academy a month ago!" Wyatt looked at me. His eyes were complex—a mix of lingering fear, awe, and an overwhelming sense of pride. "Sister. You're more of a Queen than we ever imagined." Right then, the woods outside the estate erupted in howls and the clash of steel! The battle had begun. But the Crescent Pack was ready. On the monitors, Hunter's Magistrate Guards formed the first line of defense, their blades flashing like lightning. Connor's strike team flanked them, their movements brutal and merciless. Further out, Jax's black-market mercenaries completely cut off their escape route. I sat in the cold chair of the contro

Three days later, I pulled up to the academy gates in that black armored SUV. The world was so quiet you could only hear the wind. Every student and teacher's eyes were glued to me. The newly appointed Dean jogged over and personally opened my door, a flattering smile plastered on his face. "Princess Chloe, the academy was blind before. We are so sorry for the grievances you suffered..." Wearing a ridiculously expensive tactical trench coat, I gave him a polite nod. "Dean. I just want to study for the Council Trials in peace." With that, I walked straight into the building. My desk had been swapped for a brand-new one, completely spotless. The rich kids who used to sneer at me now crowded around, awkwardly trying to get on my good side, offering high-tier healing potions and asking about tactics. I sat down calmly, pulled out my heavy combat strategy books, and buried myself in knowledge. At noon, while I was deep into a complex defense deployment map, a figure appeared at the

Richard and Madison stayed frozen on their knees, not even daring to look up. The stares from hundreds of elite warriors pinned them down. Richard's legs were so weak he was practically sprawled on the floor. Madison was pale with terror. Thud. Without any hesitation, she faced me. She crawled toward me and pressed her forehead flat against the cold stone, exposing her neck completely. She was shaking uncontrollably. She looked pathetic. "Stop," I said suddenly. Everyone in the hall looked at me. Madison froze and looked up in horror, like prey waiting for her throat to be ripped out. I walked up to her and slowly squatted down to her eye level. "Do you know why I held back and didn't fight you in the locker room that day?" She shook her head in terror, her lips trembling too much to speak. I looked at her calmly and said every word clearly. "Because you said I was just a lowly commoner. I worked my ass off to pass the Council Trials and earn military merit so I could op

At that moment, Richard's face was whiter than a corpse in the tundra. The Dean's legs gave out, and he collapsed onto the ground. Wyatt shielded me with his broad hand, blocking all the prying, terrified stares. My brothers didn't say another word. They surrounded me and led me through the dead-silent crowd. I was ushered into the largest, most luxurious armored SUV. Connor and Blake were already inside. As the truck started up smoothly, I heard Connor speaking into an encrypted earpiece, his tone ice-cold. "Yeah. Take over all Silver Vein resources. Don't let him leave with a single Moonstone." Blake had his eyes closed, issuing crystal-clear orders through the pack mind-link. "That mine has a toxin leak? Great. Leak it to the whole network. Let them get skinned alive by the press. The court is handled. The Dean is stripped of his title permanently. Life exile." Listening to them casually command the Council and tear apart empires, I finally couldn't hold back. My voice shoo
