Druida P.O.V.The cleaning of both Iron Mountain and Blackmoon took almost two whole weeks as we also went to the village where Silvan had overtaken the Royal vacation home, aka the giant ass mansion as his base of operations and the camp where some people were still working and going on with their daily lives. On both occasions they were put in for a choice; pledge allegiance to the reigning species of whom they belonged, or be arrested and set before a fair trial. All of them chose the pledge. I knew they would. They were regular people who just wanted to survive and had done what they had to with the means dealt at the time. Cian P.O.V.Mirage, Cian and I find some quiet place in the shadow of the night to lie down, outside and free at last. Mirage cuddles into the both of us, sighing with content as she drifts off to sleep in a matter of seconds. Lucas P.O.V.Midnight rings quiet over the cleared packlands. Maddison and Liam moved their pack members to off-site saferooms all day, in smaller groups, as if they were going to a pack party or something. Maddison P.O.V.We don’t hear much from the situation with our daughter and her mates, but as I keep telling Liam; no news is good news. They guys would have surfaced in a raging fury had she died, and so far the only thing that’s happened is that Lucas suddenly disappeared from the upper realm, his parents explaining Cian summoned him to Amar. I asked how they knew, Queen Sierra, taking a break from being in the hospital, said they had rekindled their bond to Lucas, so they knew where he was all the time. Druida P.O.V.“I will not allow you to leave us, Mirage. Not now, not ever. Do you hear me? Druida P.O.V.When Cian mindlinks me that a charcoal grey wolf is after my mother, instincts take over, and Raven takes off before anyone can blink. On our heel is Ulric, never even questioning what is going on. I scarcely notice that we pick up a lot of allies along the way, people who are clearing the way for Raven to run through without a hitch, and thank the Goddess for that.
