Isaiah POV

I asked one of the guards where to find Max. The guard mind-linked him, then told me he would meet me in my new office in five minutes.

I went up and took a look at everything in the office. I could smell several different she-wolves in this room. It’s nauseating. I opened the windows and then made a mental note to have the omegas deep-clean this room to get the stench out. I’m also replacing this desk. I don’t even want to think about the infections sitting on the surface.

It’s not Beta Aric. He treats women with respect and doesn’t even know Kaia. I think it’s someone else. Like Isaiah said, if he was Paul, he would have done it a long time ago.
