LOGINNoa tilted his head slightly, eyes dragging over Leon’s tense expression. “Are you sure about that?"
Leon couldn't reply because he knew he was right. His heart had been thudding since he saw him in the shower. He had been trying to control his body from acting up. Water rolled down Leon’s neck and chest. Noa’s eyes followed it, making Leon’s situation worse. He could feel his breathing coming fast and uneven. He took a step closer again. Leon stepped back. He moved, and Leon moved until his back was against the tiled wall. He stepped closer yet again, placing his hand on the wall. Not enough for their body to touch, but enough for Leon to feel trapped. “Don't touch me, don't move, and listen,” Noa said almost in a whisper. Leon stood still like an obedient boy but avoided Noa’s eyes as they roamed his face. “You got mad because I looked at you,” Noa murmured. “Then you rushed me like you wanted to kill me.” His gaze darkened slightly. “But your body reacted differently, or should I say, reacted sweetly to mine.” Leon’s jaw tightened instantly. “Shut the fuck up.” “No, Leon.” Leon glared at him, but this time his glare lacked its usual confidence. His eyes kept flickering away before returning to Noa again. Noa caught every single second of it. “You hate me that much?” Noa asked softly. “Yes. I hate you.” Noa gazed down on his dick and chuckled, “Really? You hate me but why did your dick want me?” Leon froze. “Quit talking nonsense,” he said as his fists clenched tightly by his sides. The heat burned through him. The shower suddenly felt too hot, and suffocating. Noa’s gaze dropped briefly again to his lips, before returning to Leon’s eyes. That tiny movement alone made Leon’s stomach flutter. “You should leave,” Leon muttered finally, but he didn’t move an inch himself. Noa noticed he was too tense. Instead of stepping back, Noa leaned slightly closer and his voice turned dangerously soft. “If I kiss you right now,” he whispered, “Would you punch me first… or kiss me back?” Leon’s breath caught instantly and he felt his dick throb again. Outside the curtain, their teammates were still laughing and shouting completely unaware. But inside the shower stall, the tension between them had become almost unbearable. Noa slowly lifted his hand toward Leon’s face. His fingers were almost brushing his damp cheek. Leon reacted instantly. He slapped the hand away and stepped back. His fists clenched tightly at his sides. “Get the fuck out,” he whispered harshly. For a second, the teasing look in Noa’s eyes flickered. Then he raised both hands in surrender with a lazy grin. “Okay, tiger. I’m leaving.” His gaze dragged slowly over Leon’s body one last time. “But this isn’t over.” Leon scoffed coldly. “Oh yes, it is. This whole thing is just your imagination. Nothing happened, and nothing will ever happen.” Noa chuckled softly as he grabbed his towel. “We’ll see about that.” He wiped the water from his body casually. Eyes still on Leon, before he stepped out of the shower stall. The locker room had almost emptied. Lockers slammed shut while the remaining players hurried around throwing on shirts and sneakers. All were complaining about being late for Professor Hale’s class. Noa barely listened. His mind was still trapped inside that cramped shower stall. Still replaying Leon’s body pressed against him. Still remembering the sharp hitch in Leon’s breath. A slow smirk pulled at his lips as he shut his locker. Back inside the stall, Leon dragged both hands through his wet hair aggressively. “Son of a bitch,” he muttered angrily. Water continued running over his tense body as frustration twisted inside him. “What the heck is he trying to prove?” Leon hissed under his breath. “He thinks he is too cool or what? Will I care or give a shit about him? Especially after what he did to my brother?” His jaw tightened harder. “That’s impossible.” He stared down at his dick for a second before groaning in frustration. “Goddamn it.” The memory of their bodies pressed together flashed in his head again, making him curse louder. “What the hell were you thinking throbbing against his fucking body, hmm?” He muttered angrily, still staring downwards. Another throbbing answered him. “Fuck this.” He whispered angrily, clenching and unclenching his fists. Then Leon suddenly realized he was talking like a crazy guy. He blinked and let out a dry, angry laugh at himself. “Am I seriously talking to my dick now? Oh, that's great.” He let water stream down his face more as he leaned against the wall briefly, trying to calm himself down. Then he noticed that the locker room had gone quiet. He reasoned why it's too quiet all of a sudden. Then reality hit him again. Professor Hale’s lecture. “Damn it!” He shut off the water instantly, grabbed his towel, and hurried out of the shower stall. The locker room was almost empty now. Noa stood by his locker, casually pulling on his shirt. The moment he saw Leon rushing out with a towel around his waist, he smirked. “I was starting to wonder if you were giving yourself a quickie in there.” “Fuck you, Noa,” Leon snapped while yanking open his locker. “Oh yeah?” Noa walked over to his locker swiftly. His voice dropped lower. “I’d gladly take your cute dick inside me.” “Goddamn it, Noa.” He stared at him…actually at his boldness. “Stay the heck away from me.” He turned away from him and started dressing up. Noa chuckled, clearly enjoying every second of Leon’s irritation. Then he leaned closer as he passed by. “See you in class, cutie.” Leon glared murderously at him as Noa walked toward the exit completely unbothered. “Ass hole,” He cursed under his breath. He hurriedly shoved on his shoes, grabbed his books, and sprinted out of the locker room. By the time Leon entered Professor Hale’s lecture hall, the class was already silent. Every eye turned toward him. Professor Hale adjusted his glasses slowly. “Mr. Fisher,” he said in a calm but dangerous voice, “I’m quite certain you’ve been informed that lateness is not my style.” Leon exhaled quietly. “Yes, Professor. I’m sorry. The shower spray was faulty.” A few students snorted softly. Professor Hale sighed. “You’re the tenth student to complain about those showers today. I’ll speak with management.” His sharp gaze narrowed slightly. “But next time, forget to take your shower and come to my class first. Understood?” “Yes, Professor.” Leon responded quickly before scanning the packed lecture hall for a seat. Every single row was occupied. Then he spotted one empty chair near the middle. Unfortunately, Sebastian sat beside it, waving him to it. Leon stopped briefly and muttered under his breath, “Damn it. Does it have to be him?” Still, he had no choice. He walked over and dropped into the seat. Sebastian immediately leaned closer with a grin. “Hey, Sab,” Leon greeted casually. “Hey, handsome,” Sebastian whispered near his ear. “You smell really sweet and that shower made your skin great.” He inhaled his body. Leon smirked despite himself and nudged him lightly with his elbow. “Sab, let’s focus on the lecture, okay?” Sebastian sighed dramatically. “Okay, handsome. Anything for you.” Leon chuckled at his behavior as Professor Hale resumed the lecture from the front of the hall. But even as Leon opened his notebook, his mind drifted right back to the shower stall. And to Noa’s voice whispering against his ear. We’ll see about that. “Damn it” he cursed under his breath. "He will pay for that.”Noa stood in the doorway. His hockey bag hung from one shoulder. His expression was as cold as the mountain air outside. For a brief second, neither of them moved. Leon instinctively stepped aside."Come on, Noa..." He sighed. "Let's not do…" "Let me make something clear."The sharpness of Noa's voice cut him off. Leon fell silent. Their eyes locked. Noa took one slow step into the room. "I don't care if Coach forced us into the same room." His voice was filled with irritation. "You stay in your corner." He pointed toward the bed by the window. "I stay in mine.” His finger dropped."Don't stare at me." A pause."Don't smile at me." Another pause followed. "And don't even look for an excuse to start a conversation. Do you get that? It means don't fucking talk to me, no matter what." The room seemed to shrink around them. "Do you understand?" Leon simply looked at him. No response. No movement. Noa's patience snapped."I said…" His voice
Having Noa leaned on him seemed to shift something within him. For a moment, all the hurt faded. The jealousy, the guilt, and the heartbreak, none of it seemed as important as the sight before him. Very carefully, Leon shifted his own posture. He relaxed his shoulder, giving Noa a more comfortable place to rest without waking him. A few seats ahead, Jerry glanced back. He raised an eyebrow. Leon simply shook his head once. Jerry smirked knowingly before turning around again. Minutes stretched into an hour.Noa remained asleep, leaning against Leon the entire time. Eventually, Leon's own heavy eyelids betrayed him. The warmth on his shoulder, and the steady rhythm of the moving bus. The emotional exhaustion of the past few days, one by one, his thoughts drifted away. His head fell back against the seat. Before you knew it, he fell asleep too. Then, a sudden bump in the road stirred Noa awake. He blinked groggily. For a second, he didn't understand why somethin
Without another word, he walked down the aisle. Every pair of eyes followed him. Leon shifted slightly, giving him room. Noa dropped into the seat beside him without so much as a glance. The atmosphere between them turned icy. Leon kept his eyes forward, but inside him a tiny spark of hope flickered. For the next several hours, Noa couldn't run away from him. Maybe…Just maybe...He'd finally get a chance to make things right. The driver closed the doors. With a low rumble, the bus pulled away from the parking lot, carrying the team toward Mountain Bay. Noa, who had no choice but to sit beside Leon, told himself that he would never be late again. Despite sitting shoulder to shoulder, Leon decided not to say a word to him for the meantime. However he couldn't stay quiet so he texted him. “I’m glad you made it.” Noa checked the message that just entered his phone and it was from Leon. Then he checked the first one he wasn't aware of. His heart twitched but he
The final whistle echoed through the rink. "That's it for today!" Coach Finn called out. "Good work. Everybody to center ice." The players skated in, breathing hard after nearly two hours of practice. Some leaned on their sticks while others pulled off their helmets, grateful for the break. Coach Finn stood before them with his arms folded. His expression was serious. The chatter gradually died down. "I've got an important announcement." Every player straightened instinctively. "There has been a change of plans." He paused. "We will not be leaving for Mountain Bay tomorrow morning." "What?" A wave of whispers spread through the team. "No way..." "I already packed for tomorrow." "Did the match get canceled?" Coach Finn raised a hand, silencing the murmurs. "I know this is short notice, and I'm sorry about the late information." He looked around at every face."But if you intend to become professional athletes someday, you'd better get used to adaptin
His voice trembled. "Do you know what I called him? Do you know how many times I shoved him? How many times I have humiliated him in front of everyone?" He covered his face with both hands. "And the worst part..." His voice broke completely. "He still tried to cooperate and do things with me." Leon’s emotion rose as he recalled their private moments, the stolen kisses, their free smiles. “Damn it, your lies made me lose his trust. How do I fucking make up, hmm.” Max frowned at his brother's reaction. Leon slowly lowered his hands. "When everyone else saw a nice captain, I saw an enemy that needed to suffer. I...I…" He stopped, unable to finish. The memory of Noa flashed through his mind. Starting from the rivalry to late-night conversations. The concern hidden beneath their arguments. The kisses, and the romances. His chest tightened. "I don't even know where to begin making this right." Max walked closer. "We'll figure it out together." Leon shook his he
It was indeed Max, he muttered “Talking about the devil.” He watched as other teammates gathered around, greeting him and asking how he was getting on. Leon smiled faintly, skated over and hugged him. “I didn't know you're coming to visit.” “Surprise,” Max said teasingly. Max returned the teammates greetings, though his smile looked forced. He hadn't expected to see Noa. Noa hadn't expected to see him either. He stared from the center of ice looking at Max. As their eyes locked, the warmth drained from Noa's face. His stick tightened in his grip, and Leon noticed it. Before anyone could react, Noa pushed off. His skates sliced across the ice with purpose. He headed straight toward Max. Every conversation in the rink died because they knew something was off. "Noa?" Nath called, but Noa ignored him. He stopped inches in front of Max. "So..." His voice carried across the silent arena. "You finally decided to show your face." Max swallowed. “Hey Cap
"You used to come to Riverside Park every afternoon after school." His heartbeat slowed. "You always sat near the old rink." Leon stared in surprise. "You'd stare at the bikes the older guys rode." A strange feeling twisted inside Leon's chest, because he was telling the truth.
Noa’s eyes widened. He waited for reply but nothing came. Angrily, he typed, ”Asshole, stop being a coward and fucking answer me. My heart is in a fucking disaster because of you. Is that fair?” Diamond read but still no reply. “Damn it,” Noa cursed angrily and dropped the phone, folding h
Leon kept frustrating and breaking Noa’s heart until a week later. He rode into the school parking lot, with Jenny behind him as usual. Heads turned like they always do. Some students waved. Others whispered among themselves. A few simply stared. Being among the good players of the hockey team
Leon was battling with his emotions as he made his decision. If Noa ever tried to force closeness, he would make sure there wasn’t even a second of hesitation before punching his face. With that, there would be no confusion, no freezing, or even kissing back. No nothing, he breathed as his jaw
