LOGINEZRA'S POV
20 YEARS LATER I hated Wednesdays. I don't think I needed to say much. I simply hated the day. Not in the way everyone seemed to dread Mondays, I hated Wednesdays the way you hated something that had never once surprised you. Something that arrives on schedule, takes what it needs and leaves again. Over and over. I was already seated in the chair when the first brother walked in, dark hair swept back, framing his cold chiseled features. His gaze was dark and intense as he watched me settle in the chair. No words were exchanged. Dorian didn't like talking during sessions. I had 20 years to learn about how every brother behaved around me. This was all routine ㅡ I arrived first. I don't know when it started, this specific arrangement, but somewhere across the last twenty years, it has calcified into routine. My spine was straight and I rolled my sleeve. It didn't feel like defiance anymore. It was simply…Wednesday. With a small nod that I gave him, Dorian stepped forward with a nod of his own before he was by my side. My eyes squeezed shut as I felt his breath brush against my skin for a second before sharp pinpricks that barely lasted a second shot across my nerve ends, morphing into a euphoric feeling as he took his fill. After what seemed like a long minute, he pulled away and I let out a sharp breath, trying to calm my racing heart. My gaze traced his movements as he stepped away, swiping away at his blood stained teeth with his tongue. He didn't thank me. He never did. And I had stopped waiting for that since I was fourteen. He stayed in the corner, watching me with a precision that clearly unnerved me. Usually, he left. When he stayed, it meant Caelan was coming. The door creaked open and Lucian stepped in, giving me a small smile as he walked forward. “Sorry, there was an issue withㅡ” “Get on with it so Ezra can go back to whatever he was doing.” Dorian cut him off with a gruff tone. Lucian looked at his older brother with a look that mirrored annoyance. “Of course.” I flexed my arm slightly, giving him what I hoped was convincing enough. “Go on.” Lucian and Dorian were stark opposites. Dorian was cold and calculating as the first of the quadruplets. Lucian? Well, he was more outgoing. Caius and Riven were almost always together. The third and last of the children. All of them had the same similar features ㅡ striking features that had you staring if you looked too hard. While Lucian fed, my mind travelled. The east gate ran on a seven minute patrol rotation. I'd counted it forty six times in the last three months to make sure I wasn't missing anything. It had only deviated once in February when it was raining heavily and a guard paused under the overhang near the south wall. Ninety seconds. My departure window was twelve minutes, which gives me a five minute buffer on a seven minute cycle. I do not intend to need the buffer. I plan to be over the wall in four minutes. Yes ㅡ I wanted to leave. Run away. They didn't treat me badly. But I also knew why they needed me. And somehow I wanted a life that was more… exciting. I could ask Caelan. Maybe he would let me. But asking felt like too much. I had been here all my life and I wanted out now. Caius and Riven came last, each one giving me a warm greeting before feeding. Now, I was left in the stale feeding room with the four brothers staring at me with different looks on their faces. Dorian with a blank expression, Lucian with a curious look as though he could feel I wasn't here mentally, Caius with a small smirk on his face and Riven with a dark look in his eyes. Never unkind. Just there. Maybe we would have been close friends but I always kept myself away from all of them. They tried years ago, tried to form a close bond but I knew the cold hard truth ㅡ I wasn't like them. Far from it. I was an Omega. And I didn't belong here. The door pushed open and the hair on my skin stood on end. Caelan’s presence was announced before he even became visible. He simply had that air around him. He strolled into the room, hands tucked into the pockets of his dark coat and looked around the small group. “Well…” The brothers straightened, staring at their father. His gaze finally met mine and a warm smile tugged at his lips. “Ezra, how are you doing today?” I cleared my throat, rolling down my sleeve again as I stood up from the chair. “Good. Done for the week.” He nodded. “Thank you, I really appreciate what you're doing for us. What could we do without you?” My heart clenched. What would they do without me? They had taken care of me my whole life and I had fed them in return. “Is there any problem though?” I asked, my voice a hoarse whisper. He shook his head slowly. “Just wanted to check up on you. I've been so busy with work and everything, you know the drill. Do you want to come into the office on Monday?” My brain short circuited for a second. Monday? A feeling of hope ignited in me. I wouldn't even be here by Monday. My face was blank as I responded to him, “Yes, sure. That would be great.” His lips curled into a smile. “Come down for dinner now. Riven, check the documents on the study table. Dorian, go with him and make sure he doesn't fuck it up.” Dorian nodded, leading a not so pleased Riven out of the room. Caelan turned back to me. “Shall we?” I forced my smile to be steady. “Yeah sure.” Keep it up, Ezra. Because in three days… I would be gone.CAELEN'S POV "Alright, you can keep it that way. I will communicate to the rest of the elders." Arclock said, shutting off the file that I had presented to him in the courtroom. "You are doing such a great job I must say." He added. I nodded and bowed my head appreciatively. "Thank you, my Lord." Then there was silence between us which only meant that he still had something to say. "How long is the werewolf going to stay here?" "Not for too long, sir. Even though we don't have a date yet for his departure but it's clear he will be leaving soon after he agrees to the deal." "I saw that Ezra has been around him quite a lot." He carried his stainless cup that held blood inside of it and took a few sips. "Some videos have apparently made the Internet with some people praising how cute they look as a couple." He rubbed the back of his neck and cleared his throat. "Sir, people can be extreme. There is nothing serious between Ezra and the Alpha. Ezra just ended up bei
RIVEN'S POV "He said that?" I frowned while taking a sip from my wine. I finished the liquid content in a few seconds, rinsed the cup, put it back in its place and wiped my mouth with the back of my palm. I was on a call with Lucien this evening. He had requested for an emergency meeting but none of us was even in the best mood to step out. Caius was on a short journey to the Northern side for his project and as for me? I was too lazy to leave my penthouse. So Lucien hopped on a call and now, it was just three of us. "Yeah, he said that."I adjusted my airpod. "Sometimes, you make me so mad. You make me doubt if we actually both came out of the same womb, huh. How could you just watch him talk to you all over?" I glared at him after switching to video. His face popped up and so did Dorian who was leaning relaxed on his chair, his glasses staying firmly on the bridge of his nose almost like Caelen's. "Don't be foolish, Riven. I was just caught back by what he was spewing. D
LUCIEN'S POVA two-time knock from my assistant before opening the door interrupted my flow of thoughts. The pen that I had previously been spinning stopped in between my fingers as I looked up from my desk. She entered, standing just a little away from the entrance which would only mean that she was here to announce something and nothing else. "Alpha Marco is here." Right. I almost forgot about that. I leaned back and crossed one leg over the other. My eyes landed briefly on the document I had been reviewing earlier before they went back to her. "Well...send him in." I replied and she left. "We don't want to keep an Alpha waiting now, do we?" I mumbled while still remaining seated and clearing up my desk. A day ago, I had sent him a message requesting his presence at my office so we could discuss as I had never gotten the chance to go through the deal with him as instructed by father. There was a small knock and then after, the door opened. Marco came through easily. He w
AUTHOR'S POVEzra felt the size increase immediately after he said that. He was going to get swollen balls at this level as Riven was hard as fuck. "Remove your clothes." Ezra instructed. Riven didn't think twice. He jumped right off the body, his mind prepared to give his love the most pleasant view ever of his sculpture-like body. When Riven fully exposed his body, his dick popped out big, almost making Ezra worried...worried for his mouth and his ass hole. He had seen this multiple times already but for some reason, he was always left flabbergasted. Ezra took his time getting off the bed, enjoying how lost and transfixed Riven's entire self on his body. He stepped out and moved closer to him. "You know I won't hurt you, right?" Riven whispered as he rubbed Ezra's cheek while his other hand gently stroked his cock. Ezra's lowered to the cock before taking it over from Riven's grip. "I'd like to see you try." He answered and Riven smirked as he watched Ezra get on his kn
AUTHOR'S POVThe kiss lasted for almost three minutes until Riven broke it and rested his forehead against Ezra's, breathing heavily yet in the most gentle way possible. "We...we can do it now, right? You'll be fine with it, Ez?" He whispered. Ezra looked into his eyes. Riven was an open book. His eyes hid absolutely nothing about his desires for him at this point. He lowered his eyes to Riven's lips before he brought them up again to meet his eyes. "It's noon. Don't you have any leftover work to do at the company?" Ezra asked him and Riven quickly shook his head, causing Ezra to chuckle. "They can wait." He answered, nuzzling into the space between Ezra's neck and shoulder. His hands grabbed Ezra's asscheeks at once and he pressed them as if kneading a dough. "Fuck, I love it when you release your pheromones. You don't know how crazy they make me go." "Trust me, I do." Ezra patted his head while making a way for Riven to devour his neck. His body was literally on fire
EZRA'S POV "Right...right, that's all. I appreciate you for coming, Alpha Marco. I hope you enjoyed the tour." The educator beamed once again. This made me wonder. Was it his kind of thing or was he just being annoying? I acknowledged his wave with a tight smile. Marco turned to me after briefly glancing at his watch. "It's already noon. I thought this was going to be boring but turned out it was far better. What do you think?" "It was lovely." I answered. "So, is there anything you would like to do? A place you would like to go or something?" His fingers brushed through his nostrils while I sighed. "I don't really have anywhere in mind. I can't think of anything else to do and I am doing a terrible job at being a tour guide than I expected. Wouldn't it be better if you just look for someone else?" He laughed heartily and waved his hand, probably meant to dismiss my question. "You think I don't know that? I could have gotten one but I want to spend some time w
AUTHOR'S POV The door slowly shut. Caelen sat behind the desk and his four sons arranged themselves in front of it, each person taking what seemed to be their specific spots for years. He turned the light to be more bright and relaxed into his chair. He looked at each of them. "Should I get you
EZRA'S POVThe dining room however looked slightly different. It had a bit of color, maybe it was the lighting but everything else? Pfft, the same. It had been maintained across centuries by Caelan. There was a long table and rows of a few chairs surrounding it. We sat down. Caelen at the head whil
EZRA'S POVCole sat beside me on the bed for a long time without saying anything. That was what I loved about him. He understood the difference between silence that needed filling and silence that needed company. He sat with his shoulder against mine and let me cry myself dry. He didn't speak immed
AUTHOR'S POVMarco looked out the window, completely nervous as he waited for Ezra to arrive. He kept adjusting his clothes, fixing what needed not to be fixed and just rearranging stuff. He glanced at his phone, it was already five in the evening. They agreed to meet at that time. Meanwhile, he ha
