LOGINClara James POV
I looked at him in shock. One hand, covered in tattoos, was in his pocket, the other running through his hair.
He spoke coldly, standing in front of me. "Your father asked me to bring this."
I glanced at the tray on my lap and frowned. "I don’t want this."
I looked at the pasta plate with a scowl, then shifted my gaze to Adrian Cole sitting on the chair.
"What are you doing here?" I stammered, still scared after what he almost did when he tried to kiss me.
"My dad told me to stay until you finished."
"You can leave."
I lowered my eyes to my plate and started eating. He ignored me, focusing on his phone instead. The plate was still full—I always ate slowly.
Curiosity broke the silence. "Mister Adrian, can I ask you something?"
He paused scrolling and looked at me. His dark eyes were deadly.
"Speak," he said sharply, then lowered his gaze to his phone.
"Are you Emilia’s real brother? I didn’t know she had a brother."
A sly smile curved his lips. "Yes."
He said only that, but my curiosity wasn’t satisfied. "Do you mean you’re her real brother, same mom and dad?"
He murmured in agreement, still eyes glued to his phone.
How could she have a brother this handsome…
"Then why did you try to kiss me by force?"
He shifted his gaze to me, eyes frightening, lips curved in a smile. I looked down at my plate, refusing to meet his terrifying eyes.
"Does that bother you?" he said mockingly.
I glared at him with fake confidence. "Of course it bothers me! Having my first kiss nearly stolen by an old man… that bothers me too. Or are you just a pervert like your sister?"
My last word made his smirk twist into a scowl.
"I’m not just a pervert, I’m far worse."
His words made my heart tremble with fear. I couldn’t speak again, and my appetite vanished because of his bluntness. I grabbed the cup next to my plate, filled with orange juice, and drank it in one gulp. When I finished, I sighed in exhaustion. "I’m done."
He raised his eyes to me and straightened up, almost leaving.
"Take the tray with you."
I stopped him with my words. He turned his head, raising an eyebrow in surprise and mockery. "Wha… what?"
He left, ignoring me.
I punched the air quietly and whispered, "Filthy bastard… damn old pervert!"
I took my tray and went to the kitchen, setting it on the table.
I went back to my room, took a quick, warm shower, and put on my long-sleeved black nightgown—it belonged to my brother Lucas. I wore it to always remember him.
I lay on the bed and remembered my phone… Adrian still had it. He hadn’t returned it yet.
I sat up, saying, "The handsome old man hasn’t even returned my phone…"
Then I wondered, "Which room does the bastard sleep in?"
I went to check the rooms beside mine, opened the door of the room in front of mine, and found Adrian Cole sleeping on his stomach, chest bare, hair falling over his face. Some scars were visible on his back. I slipped in quietly.
"Oh God… how can he be this… tempting…"
I started searching the drawers beside him, but I couldn’t find it.
"Damn you, bastard… where are you hiding my phone?" I said angrily, whispering as I stared at him, clenching my fist.
"If you harass me again or come near me, I’ll shut you up by ripping your cock off, you bastard!"
I said angrily, punching the bed softly.
"Where is he hiding it?" I asked in despair, crouching in front of him. My eyes scanned his sharp features, the scars under his eye catching my attention. I leaned closer to see clearly, but he suddenly opened his eyes, making me scream and stumble back.
"Damn it!"
I clutched my chest in fear as he straightened, sitting up against the bed.
Raising an eyebrow mockingly, a small smile on his lips, he said, "Did I scare you?"
I straightened up with confidence. "N… no."
He looked at me, smirking when his eyes landed on my oversized nightgown. "Didn’t anyone teach you to knock before entering?"
I shivered, eyes wide with tension… he was awake when I flirted with him. I bit my lower lip in embarrassment and closed my eyes.
"Give me my phone."
I reached out to him, sleeves of my nightgown covering my hands.
I lifted my head confidently. "Didn’t you hear me? Are you hard of hearing?"
"I prefer hearing other sounds."
He said coldly as he got up. My mind drifted with his words, but I convinced myself he didn’t mean anything.
He went to a shelf and pulled out my phone, coming closer. I reached for it, but he raised his hand.
"Mister Adrian, give me my phone… I have school tomorrow." I complained.
He ignored me and lay back on the bed.
"Mister Adrian, don’t be childish."
He opened his eyes, glancing at me. "Your dad told me to take the phone from you at midnight, and now it’s two a.m."
I raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Why did he tell you that?"
I looked at him, eyes narrowing, and he whispered, closing his eyes. "He went on an important work trip to Norway."
I stared in shock. "What?"
I whispered sadly, "When did he leave? Why didn’t he say goodbye? And did that slut go with him?"
I closed my mouth, scolding myself for the last word, but he seemed unfazed. "Emilia didn’t go with him. When I brought you dinner, he had already left."
He said coldly. I couldn’t deny my sadness. Tears filled my eyes, but I wiped them with my nightgown sleeve.
"Give me my phone." I reached out. I gasped in fear as he jumped toward me. I was trapped under him, his body pressing against me.
He grabbed my hands, pinning them above my head with one hand.
"Mr. Adrian, what are you doing?" I trembled under him.
"You’ve talked too much."
He whispered near my ear. His hot breath sent shivers down my spine. He buried his face in my neck, breathing boldly.
When his lips touched my skin, my body shivered with fear. His lips roamed freely along my neck, planting wet kisses on every corner. Memories of someone else’s lips flashed back.
"Delicious," he murmured, sucking the line of my jaw greedily.
"Mister Adrian, please stop," I said, voice shaking from crying, but he pressed his body harder against me. His tattooed hand pinned mine above my head, the other roughly exploring my thigh.
"Please stop," I begged desperately.
His hand moved from my thigh to the buttons of my nightgown, tearing it in one motion and exposing my body. I was wearing a red bra.
Clara James"Don't you have a fear of dogs?"Adrian hummed in satisfaction before starting the car. The entire neighborhood seemed to shake under the roar of the black Ferrari's engine as it cut through the streets."I got over that because of your dog."His voice came out low and deep while he drove steadily, his long fingers lightly tapping the steering wheel. I watched him for a moment before answering, studying the sharp line of his jaw and his dark eyes reflecting the lights of the road.I relaxed against the leather seat, breathing slowly as I tried to ignore his effect on me.He let out a quiet sarcastic hum."So you overcame one of your fears because of me... and I'll make you overcome all of them."Damn his tone. Every time he spoke, I felt as if something hot melted inside my stomach.I wet my lips before lifting my chin with fake confidence."Let's be more accurate... because of Bam, not because of you. At least Bam was nice to me, unlike you."A sarcastic laugh escaped him
Clara JamesI sprayed the last touch of perfume on my neck as my finishing touch, then lifted my gaze to the mirror. My cheeks... were still red from the detective's earlier touches.Oh God.I was wearing the dress Adrian had brought for me. White, with soft green flowers and leaves scattered across the fabric. It reached slightly below my knees and made me look more innocent than I actually was.I placed the lip balm inside my small bag before closing it.I had packed some clothes as Adrian asked me to... and I won't deny that my mind literally flew to Mars after his last words, but my curiosity was killing me more than my nervousness.I grabbed my bag and checked my appearance one last time before taking several deep breaths, waving my hand in front of my face as I tried to calm my blush."Calm down... it's not like he's going to sleep with you."I whispered to myself, lightly slapping my cheeks.I put on a black coat, turned around, and finally left my room."Adrian, please take me
Clara JamesI woke up at ten in the morning, sleep still clinging to my eyes as if I hadn't slept for days. A whole week had passed since that night... a week of completely avoiding my father. No talking. No looks. Not even sitting in the same place.I was relaxing in the warm bathtub, watching the steam rise around me absentmindedly while memories of what I did with Adrian attacked me without mercy.I remembered everything.Every word... every kiss... every crazy thing I did while drunk.I pretended to have forgotten all week because I was so embarrassed. As for him...He stayed by my side the whole time, taking care of me as if I were something precious he was afraid of breaking. Even that hag Emilia didn't dare say a single word while he was around. My father took my phone away, so I couldn't contact Natalie or Ethan all week. Natalie tried to come more than once, but he stopped her every time.My old maid told me that two girls had been killed inside that club... and of course, th
Clara James"Are you drinking alcohol, damn it?!"My father shouted with such anger that my whole body jolted.I froze in place.I couldn't say a word from how terrified I was. I just squeezed my trembling fingers together while my breath broke inside my chest. He came closer until his face was very close to mine, and his expression twisted further when his suspicions were confirmed."You're a child... How could you drink alcohol? Have you lost your mind?"I was going to cry again...I looked at him fearfully, but nothing in his expression changed. His anger only grew."Dad... I... didn't..."Even lying failed me.I couldn't form a single coherent sentence. He grabbed my shoulders roughly, making my body shake."I what?! Why are you acting like this? Why do you make me show you my other side? Why do you bring humiliation on yourself?!"He shook my body with every word he shouted, his voice echoing through the living room in a terrifying way.My eyes filled with tears instantly."Didn'
Clara James"Get in."Adrian ordered me in a domineering tone that made my femininity sink even deeper. When I remained standing for too long, he grabbed my wrist and placed his other hand above my head, then lowered my body slightly so I could get into the car easily.I sat in the front seat.It was unbelievably comfortable. He leaned over and fastened my seatbelt for me, a faint smile forming on his lips that threw my heart into chaos. As soon as he was done, he closed the door behind me and walked to the driver's seat.He buckled his seatbelt and drove off.I leaned back against the seat, my eyes never leaving his aura. One tattooed hand rested beside him, while the other held the steering wheel with an attractive steadiness. His eyes were on the road... but all his attention was on me.And I didn't stop talking excitedly about Gojo, about how much I loved him, and I think I even told him the entire anime story too.Adrian listened to me with strange attentiveness. Was it because h
Clara James"You will never touch me again."I shouted at Adrian with confidence, even though tears were still streaming down my face.Adrian walked toward me with calm steps, then took off his black coat and draped it over my shoulders. I immediately yanked it off and threw it to the floor."I don't need your filthy coat."I muttered, biting my lip hard as I tried to stop myself from crying.I cry easily... just like my mother. He completely ignored my words. Bending down, he picked up the coat and wrapped it around me again, this time so tightly that it nearly stole my breath."And I don't need your opinion."I tried to take it off again, but he tightened his hold on me. A gasp escaped my lips when he suddenly lifted me and tossed me over his shoulder as if I weighed nothing."Put me down right now!"I shouted angrily, pounding my fists against his back, but he smacked my backside hard enough to sting."Be quiet."I touched my backside in shock and whined in pain. That actually hurt
Clara James POV“Mr. Cole, you are bleeding.”I said in panic. Mr. Cole and his friend both turned to look at me. I rushed toward him, but his sharp voice stopped me.“Stay where you are.”The anger in his eyes terrified me, yet my focus was locked on his bleeding hand. Fear and worry took over. I
Clara James POVI went into the bathroom to wash my face. I looked in the mirror, and I looked like a total mess. My eyes were puffy from all the crying, and my brown hair was a tangled disaster."You look like a stray," I whispered to my reflection. I splashed cold water on my skin, changed into s
Clara James POV“Is the pain easing?”Adrian asked in his rough voice, his eyes locked on mine with real focus. I shook my head in reply. I could not even speak. I felt my femininity drowning despite the pain.He looked down at my stomach. I shook my head again, embarrassed. My body shivered when I
Clara James POV"Is the house empty? I don't see Emilia Cole."I asked the man who just locked the door behind me."I sent Emilia Cole away with your father."My eyes went wide as I looked at him. I quickly turned on the living room light, and his handsome face came into focus."What? Why?""Your f
