LOGINSABLE'S POV “Look who's awake.” Ysoria mumbled, strolling into the room like she owns the space. I stared at her in confusion, first she didn't care if I died or lived, or maybe she did, but she would prefer if I died. And secondly, there was no way Ysoria would come check in on me, at least not so early in the morning. I stared back at Knox who shrugged his shoulders before pulling away, he looked as confused as I was and I could understand that. “Good morning Luna Sable.” The presumed doctor mumbled, dropping a brief case on the table right beside me. He had a polite smile on his face, an annoyingly polite smile. I hated that about doctors and at the same time, I wondered why they did that. Smile broadly while inflicting pain to their fellow human. I rolled my eyes off him, back to Knox who had his eyes squinted as he stared right at Ysoria. “And good morning Beta Knox.” He added. “How was your night?” He asked further. I looked to
SABLE'S POV I pulled my eyes open slowly, scanning around the bright room. The last I remember was darkness, both from within and from the outside, how did it suddenly turn to light? Was I dead? Was I in heaven? I most definitely wasn't making it to heaven. So probably it's the flames from hell that are shining so bright making it all look like just random bright light. I scanned around slowly, I should at least be hearing loud agonizing screams from a distance as they described it, but I didn't. Instead I felt chill run through my bones, the time that comes from excessive air conditioning. I rolled my eyes further, the ceiling, the bed curtain, the wall. They were all mine. I was in my room and not anywhere else. Or I probably hadn't transit to another realm, that could be it. But once again, I was wrong. The first sign that I was alive was the sharp sting on my wrist. I doubt dead people feel pain, or at least not this amount of pain. I winc
KNOX'S POV It wasn't long before I saw Ysoria walk up the stairs. Ysoria, on the Beta's floor? I almost let out a loud laughter, but currently, I had none in my stomach. I'd assumed she would walk back with her doctor, but after a while of looking behind her and waiting for the weird old man to come forward, there was no sign of him. Well, that didn't change the fact she was up here to cause a ruckus because I didn't let her doctor attend to Sable. The last thing I wanted was her drama, her words, anything related to her actually. All I needed was a moment with Sable, one which I was being deprived off because the doctor needed me to walk away. I’d been pacing around ever since I walked out, not minding the wired look on the faces of every maid servant present. I couldn't bring my feet to stand still, not when I had no idea what was going on behind that door. Why wasn't a doctor? Why did I choose to be Beta and handle parks activities? I guess this was
KNOX'S POV I called on Isiah the moment I dropped the call with Madam Rosa, he picked at first ring as though he was patiently waiting on my call. By now I was already in my wing. There were a few out lookers roaming around, I guess Madam Rosa had screamed loud enough to drag the attention of the whole park. Sable's door was shut, but I didn't care. I creaked it open, dashing in with the same urgency I'd used to run up the stairs.“I need you in the Beta's wing right now!” I mumbled over the phone before ending the call and dipping my phone back into my pocket. “What happened to her?” I asked, taking hurried steps towards the bed where she laid. There was a foodstand by the side of the bed with a whole bunch of delicacies, just the way Sable would like it, but they were all untouched. “Her phone, why didn't she have her food?” I asked, my gaze on Sable as well as her food. Maybe it was a trigger response, she hadn't had any tangible meal since we returned and for the rest of the da
KNOX'S POV I watched Alpha Bryn drift off to sleep after dropping the most heart wrecking statement to me. I knew he was drunk and I shouldn't take things he said to heart, but not this one. It seemed way too personal, like a phrase he'd repeatedly inwardly over and over again. “Seems like I'll have to let go of you Knox, you are becoming a big ass threat.” It was that simple, at the same time it weighed a whole lot. Alpha Bryn had began to see me as a threat, it was as simple as that. As a rival who he needed to do away with. When did that happen? I was way busy trying to get the park to the place it is right now, but somehow Bryn misunderstood all of my actions. Or maybe it all began to change the moment Sable stepped in, maybe he'd began to sense they was something going on between us, but knowing Bryn, he didn't care. He didn't care so much about Sable to think of me as a threat for getting closer to her. I knew I wouldn't pull back if eventually that happened to be the reason
SABLE'S POV I stayed in the restroom until I heard the sound of my door creak open. I couldn't stop myself from throwing up even after so many attempts. My head had began to spin uncontrollably at this point and I had to hold firmly to the sink so I wouldn't fall to the ground. This wasn't okay, I knew it wasn't. Or maybe I just needed to eat, or maybe it was…I couldn't figure out anything and only sank to the bare floor staring into the air while my head threatened to split open. “My lady?” I heard Madam Rosa's voice call out. “My lady, are you in there?” She mumbled out once again. I sniffled, pulling myself up with all of my strength and splashing water over my face. “My lady, your food is ready!” She called out once again.“Yeah, I'll be out in a minute.” I exhaled sharply before dragging myself out of the restroom. Just a minimum ago, I was fine and all I wanted was food. But right now, the thought of food made me want to throw up although my stomach was totally empty. I si
So Sorry But This Chapter Should Be Between Wrong Timing Right Chaos & More Than A Pretty LunaSABLE'S POV. I stood right at the same spot at Alpha Bryn's chamber for about five minutes, staring towards the restroom door that he'd just walked into. He didn't even let me finish up, he wasn't taking
SABLE'S POV The room went silent, dead silent. That even a niddle drop could be heard, the only sound coming off was the clicking sound of Ysoria's heels. She had her gaze fixed on me, and I slowly watched a smile creep over her face, that was strange. She looked away to Alpha Bryn and then to Kno
SABLE'S POV I heard a knock on my door and like I've been doing for the past twenty four hours, I jerked off my bed, straining my eyes to know who exactly that was. After Knox walked out of my chamber, I'd crazily expected him to return. I wanted him to go against my wish jus
SABLE'S POVI had stayed in the garden for at least an extra two hours, murmuring words to myself like I'd gone crazy. Not because I wanted to rebel against Ysoria's words or because I loved the garden so much, well I loved the garden so much. But right now, that wasn't the fucking point. Well I me
