Brielle’s POV

The room, already tense, fell deathly still as a tall man stepped forward from the shadows of the club’s VIP lounge.

His presence was quiet, but it carried weight, like a storm gathering strength before the first crack of thunder.

He wore a dark, tailored coat over a crisp black shirt, the collar open just enough to reveal a silver chain that gleamed under the lights.

His sharp jaw clenched, and his cold, grey eyes scanned the room with lethal calm.

He did not flinch when Alice’s bodyguards approached him. Rather, his dread came on them as they instinctively stepped back.

He slammed his hand hard on the nearest table. The glass trembled under the impact.

“I said,” he repeated, his voice low and deadly, “that is enough.”

Alice faltered. Her lips parted, but for once, no words came. The club’s queen, the girl who ruled BriarWood with nothing more than her name, stood stunned.

“Who the hell are you?” she asked, though her voice held no real threat now.

The man stepped closer, not bothering to answer. His silence was more dangerous than any shout.

“Do you know who my father is?” Alice tried again, but this time, the question came out smaller.

“I do,” he replied coldly. “And I know he would be ashamed to see his only daughter behave like this.”

Alice’s face turned red. Her jaw locked in rage.

“You—”

“Leave, Miss Cole. Before I do something you cannot undo.”

Her minions tugged at her sleeves. Even the bodyguards hesitated.

Who could he be? I thought to myself. One thing is sure: he’s not just a regular man based on his level of confidence.

With a final glare, Alice turned, her pride wounded far deeper than her ego would admit. She stormed out, dragging her entourage behind her.

The crowd watched in stunned silence, some recording, most not daring to speak.

And then, just like that, she was gone.

My knees gave way. But before I could hit the floor, he was there, his hand caught my arm, firm but careful.

“Easy,” he said.

I looked up, my heart racing faster. He was taller than I had realized. Close enough for me to see the faint scar that ran along his jawline, his eyes met mine, stormy grey, unreadable.

“Why did you—” I began, my voice barely above a whisper.

“Not here,” he said gently.

He turned to my boss, who stood pale and frozen.

“I suggest you clean up this mess. And if I ever see you throwing a student onto the streets to please spoiled royalty, I will ensure this establishment does not survive another day.”

My boss nodded quickly, trembling.

“Yes, sir. I…I did not know you were—”

The man ignored him and looked back at me.

“You are bleeding.”

I blinked, only just realizing how much pain was radiating from my knees.

“Where is your friend?”

“Camellia,” I said weakly, glancing around. “She was here. I... I do not know where she went.”

“She is smart. She likely got out of the way,” he said. “Come.”

Before I could argue, he slipped his coat over my shoulders. The fabric was warm, expensive, and smelled faintly of leather.

His hand remained at the small of my back as he guided me toward the side exit. It was not a touch meant to control. It was to steady me.

Outside, the night air hit my skin like cold silk. A sleek black car waited at the curb.

“I will not bite,” he said calmly, as I hesitated beside the door.

“You need first aid. Get in. Let me drive you home. But I’d be needing a description.”

Swallowing hard, I wasted no time in getting in.

The silence in the car was thick. Only the hum of the engine and the soft tapping of rain against the windshield filled the space between us.

“You are Brielle Parkman,” he said.

It was not a question.

“Yes.”

I turned, startled. How did he know about me? Maybe because my boss had called me earlier. I thought as I felt my toes curl.

He kept his eyes on the road as I swallowed, unsure of how to respond. My heart pounded in my chest.

“Why did you help me?” I asked quietly.

He exhaled. Slowly. “Because I know what it feels like to be powerless in a place where names mean more than truth.”

His voice dipped then. Hollow. As if he had once stood where I now stood.

He pulled up outside the apartment building I shared with Camellia. He must be a smart person for him to have gotten the description at once. Just like I have described it.

“You live here.”

I nodded.

He stepped out, opened my door, and helped me out gently.

Inside, the space was dim and quiet. Camellia couldn’t tag along. She has to complete her night shift. And since I made her realise I’ll be fine, she stayed back.

He guided me to the couch, then found the first aid kit tucked beneath the kitchenette drawer like he knew exactly where to look. Camellia must have reorganized again.

“I can do it,” I murmured.

He knelt in front of me, already unraveling the bandages.

“You have done enough tonight. Let me.”

His fingers were efficient and gentle, cleaning the glass cuts and wrapping my knee carefully. His hands never lingered. Not once did he look at me the way other men had before.

“Do not let anyone convince you that you are less,” he said as he worked. “Alice only thrives because others cower.”

I stared at him. “And what about you? Should I fear you, too?”

He looked up. And for the first time, I saw a flicker of something human in those silver eyes.

“Only if you try to hurt me,” he said.

He finished wrapping my knee, stood, and discarded the bloodied cotton into the bin.

“I will take my leave now,” he said. He waved me goodbye as the door clicked shut behind him.

And I sat in silence, wrapped in the coat of a stranger who had no reason to care... but did.

What I never knew was that fate had other plans.

Brielle’s POV“Please, can I just have my glasses back?” I pleaded, my voice cracking as I hovered on the verge of tears.“Not until you open those eyes.”“Why?” I asked softly. I was trying so hard not to let my weakness show, even though I was being pushed to my absolute limit. I’d had enough today; all I needed was a moment of peace, some rest from all of this... bullshit!“Open your eyes, Brielle. That’s all you need to do,” he said, his voice sounding a bit further away now.I bit my lower lip, fear coursing through me. My heart pounded against my ribs, adrenaline pumping through my veins like a wild current. I tried to steady myself, whispering a silent reminder that whatever happened next, I would be fine.I had never seen a man naked before, and this was the second time in one day that I had been forced into such close proximity with a guy. It seemed Briarwood Academy was determined to give me more "experience" in a single afternoon than I had gathered in my entire life.“C’mo

Brielle’s POVI heaved a sigh as the maid’s footsteps faded, finally turning the key in the lock.Pushing the door open, I struggled with my heavy suitcases, keeping my head down. I didn't want to be impressed. I was used to the cramped, modest life Camelia and I shared, and I had already decided that no matter how fancy this place was, it wouldn't feel like home. But as I finally stepped inside and looked up, the air left my lungs. My jaw dropped in spite of myself.“Wow,” I whispered, the word escaping before I could catch it.The room was a magnificent explosion of blush, cream, and rose gold—a literal Barbie world brought to life with a sophisticated, modern edge.In the center sat a sprawling king-sized bed with a headboard of tufted pink velvet that reached toward the ceiling. It was piled high with silk pillows and a faux-fur throw that looked soft enough to sink into and never return.Dangling directly above the bed was a chandelier that looked like it belonged in a fairy tale

Brielle's POV “Brielle?” He snapped his fingers right in front of my face. I blinked, my eyes opening fully as I let out a long, heavy breath, staring straight at him. I swallowed hard, the cold truth hitting me instantly. Whatever had just happened with the elevator breaking down, the rubble, and that wet, desperate kiss—it was all nothing but a mere hallucination. Again! I was seriously starting to lose my mind. These weird, vivid daydreams were exactly what I needed to talk about with Camiella, but none of that was possible now thanks to that witch downstairs. Katherine was always finding a way to get right on my nerves. And she really had the nerve to stand there and tell me she’s my mother? Seriously? For someone who packed her bags and abandoned me when I needed a parent the most, she had to be the biggest joke of the twenty-first century. Jayden made a move to follow me straight into my bedroom, but I stopped dead in my tracks, turning around on my heel to block the door

  • MatedToMyProfessorAndMyFamousAll-StarStepbrothersAtBriarWood   Chapter 66

Brielle’s POV Just as we watched the almighty queen bee get slapped by her mafia father, we all adjusted our positions, eager to see what would happen next. “Sire,” the Dean muttered, bowing his head and swallowing hard. I watched Professor Lucian’s gaze lock onto Mr. Cole's. The cold glance they exchanged was anything but friendly. They looked exactly like two people who were long-standing, bitter enemies. “Father?” Alice choked out in total surprise, her hand still pressed against her burning cheek. Her minions immediately detached themselves quickly, each taking a step backward to blend into the line of boys. No one wanted to be anywhere near her. “I’m no father to a fool!” he reprimanded her fiercely, not even trying to hide his rage. That was when the pieces finally clicked, and it dawned on me why Alice’s father had reacted so violently. If I remember correctly, Mr. Cole was currently running as a candidate for the next President of the United States. A viral video of his

Brielle's POVThe man from last night, the stranger who bandaged my wounds, stood against Alice for my sake, now standing at the front of my classroom. As my---Professor?“Miss Parkman,” his deep voice rolled through the air again. “Are you waiting for an invitation, or would you like to sit?”My legs refused to move. Students giggled, whispering behind their hands.Heat rushed to my cheeks as I stumbled toward my seat, not minding the ink on it.His silver eyes flicked to me briefly, cold and sharp—nothing like the man who had draped his coat over me. It was as if last night had never happened. How he remained calm after seeing me had baffled me. “My name is Lucian Sterling. And I’ll be your history teacher from now on,” he introduced himself. His eyes lingered on me for a while. Quickly, he cleared his throat before reaching for a textbook while he approached the board. “Open your textbooks,” he said. His tone was clipped, commanding. “Page 17.”Everyone obeyed instantly. Even Al

  • MatedToMyProfessorAndMyFamousAll-StarStepbrothersAtBriarWood   Chapter 64

Brielle’s POV I woke up the next morning with a blinding, throbbing headache. Before I could even fully open my eyes and process my unfamiliar surroundings, my hand brushed against a warm, incredibly taut chest. *Oh my fucking days… he looks like a freaking demi-god.* I had thought to myself. “Moon goddess! My professor?” I gasped, instantly slapping my hand over my mouth to stifle the sound. As I moved, a sharp, sudden ache flared between my thighs. I froze. Tearing my panicked gaze away from the gorgeous, sleeping Greek god beside me, I gently lifted the edge of the blanket to peek underneath and see what was going on down there. “Oh my—” The words died in my throat. Reality hit me like a physical blow. *I lost my virginity last night. To my college professor.* Memories came crashing back in an intoxicating, terrifying rush as I scrambled to take in the room. This definitely wasn't J4 House, where I lived. The sheer luxury of this space was on an entirely different level.
