เข้าสู่ระบบLove For The Wicked Book Three. In my eyes, the world is a huge sandbox created for the big boys. Girls, money, business… and I always strive to come out on top until my father gave me an ultimatum. I needed to find a wife, or I’d lose my rights to the family business. I found the perfect woman for the scheme I devised, of course. She was beautiful, feisty, the picture-perfect wife to make my father believe I was done playing games. In return, she needed a favor, the kind that takes nine months to deliver. The rules were laid out meticulously, from the no touching to fake falling in love. After a year, we would part ways amicably with no hassle, no demands, and no regrets; after all, it was all just a game. As my plan took its course, it dawned on me that playing house was a game I never should have played. She started to grow on me, from that sexy little pout to the late nightcap, the endless dirty banter, and even the fights we had. I realize I enjoyed having her around. Trouble is, how will I make her believe I am not playing games anymore? That I don’t want her to be just my contract wife, that I don’t want twelve months with her but more?
ดูเพิ่มเติมWilliam Brown was back home in Apex city to enjoy his vacation.
3-years ago, at the age of 20, he graduated with a double doctorate in Architecture and Computer Engineering. But he only told everyone back home that he got a post-grad degree in Architecture.
In the past three years, he worked in the highly reputable Scott Designs in Z city as the chief Architecture Engineer and had built a name for himself.
This summer, he resigned from his job to focus on his own company - AR Group.
Before he got busy with work, he decided to spend two months at home and help his beloved cousin Ria with her wedding. However, he told everyone that he had taken total leave of 3 years.
Since the day William came back, he spent his entire day working on restoring the house that he had secretly bought at 18 unless he was helping his cousin with something.
Tonight he had returned to the Brown family mansion utterly exhausted and ready to pass out as he had been doing for the past two weeks. But he could not sleep.
Tring Tring
Even before William picked up his phone, he knew it was Evan calling him out for a drink like he did every other day.
“Hey, Evan. Where’s the party tonight?”
“Gee! Will, did you get attacked by an alien tonight? How come you are asking where instead of refusing flat out?”
“Just give me the address.” William ignored the jab.
“Friends bar.”
William hung up without replying.
William went to the bar still in his two-sizes-too-big t-shirt, loose trousers, unkempt hair, and tired face.
Just a glance could tell he had come straight from the bed.
As soon as he arrived, he saw Pete flirting with this average-looking petite girl.
William wondered why Pete-the flirt, changed his target today as he usually tended to flirt with the big-chested-scantily-dressed women.
The girl he was flirting with was flat-chested, casually dressed in denim, a t-shirt, and converse shoes. She had loose shoulder-length hair partially pinned on the back.
William wondered if the girl was underage and unconsciously frowned at the thought.
Moreover, the girl was constantly refusing him, but Pete kept on pestering, which was weird because Pete never bothered anyone who did not flirt back. At most, he would try thrice.
Perhaps, because of that, William could not take his eyes off the pair and the highly amusing banter. He could see everyone seemed to be enjoying it.
He saw Evan and the others waving at him two tables from the girl and her group, but he ignored them and sat at the counter close to where Pete was to listen in.
“Oh, c’mon. I’m just asking for your number. I swear I won’t call or text you”.
“I don’t want to give my number. Please excuse us, Sir. ”
“Uhm, I’m not that old. Don’t call me sir. Please tell me your number, and I’ll be out of your hair.”
“Sir, please leave. I don’t want to share my number.”
“Alright, how about this? Tell me your name, and I'll be out of here.”
“Alright, my name is Anna. Please leave now.”
“Hello, Anna. My name is Pete. Now that you are acquainted, how about we exchange contact details?”
“..”
“Here, let me give you a call.”
“...” “Sir, please leave!”
“Call me Pete. My name is not Sir. Are all beautiful ladies this respectful?”
“...”
“So, Anna, how about I buy you a drink?”
“...”
“Excuse me. A margarita for this pretty senorita, please.” wink
“...”
“Anna, is there anything else you’d like to drink? Don’t be shy! We come here all the time.”
William watched as the girl stared at Pete for a few seconds before she drew a deep breath and smiled at Pete.
She was a total stranger, but somehow, William could tell Pete was in danger.
A part of him told him to go and rescue his friend. But he impulsively wanted to watch how she dealt with him.
I apologize if it took me a while to post the final chapters. As you know, endings are always bittersweet, but that's the final chapter of this book. Next novel in this series would be Kai and Berenice's story. You'll see more of Klaus and Rylee in that book as it unfolds, the twins and Rylee's dad. I'm still in the middle of putting the story together but I hope to have it signed before this month ends. The title of Kai and Berenice's story is My Gangster Babysitter. I'll be updating the progress of the plotting in my socmed accounts.Thank you for reading. Please don't forget to leave your review about Klaus and Rylee's story.xx 8.4.22 Update. My Gangster Babysitter is now up on my profile. xx 8.9.22
We built this place out of boredom one spring break during college freshman year. The three of us got together pretty quickly not knowing that we were running away from the darkness shadowing our childhoods. Devin spends his spare time in this country because it reminds him of his late mom. Evan was escaping the troubles at home, emanating from his adoptive brother’s hatred for him while I wanted to be a regular college boy, away from the burdens of being a mafia heir. Look at us now. I’d say we are still those trouble makers, still wickedly good-looking, but we’ve come a long way. The happiness our wives brought to our lives overshadowed the burdens of our past. “Damn, you two have googly eyes,” Evan hushed, setting his phone down with a knowing smirk. “The fuck did you just do?” I groaned. “Checking for leverage,” he said, tipping his beer bottle. “Say a word about what you heard, and that video of you dancing with Rylee will go live online.” I shook my head and grabbed a beer f
Aloe Blacc drifts from the speakers, smoke from the grill I’m manning on the deck coast in the air through the living room windows pushed open to create a large entrance. We are at Devin’s Barbados beach house for a weekend getaway in celebration of his birthday tomorrow. He hated extravagant birthday celebrations until he married Ren. It gave meaning to his life, he once said. Even if I gave him an earful of bullshit for being a softie, I believe his words. He’s a changed man. Evan too… And now me… Kind of… I think… But fuck if I’d admit that out loud. Women. They have such a chaotic effect on our lives. Like a beautiful bliss. I tipped my beer into my mouth, turning the barbecues one by one. The sun lowers on the horizon, casting orange and a warm explosion of shade on the beach. My gaze moves to the waterfront. Cali, Rain, and Rylee, seated on a chaise under big white umbrellas, each holds a drink of their choice. I’m certain Rylee settles into a glass of water or non-alcoh
“Hey, are you good?” I set my hand on Klaus’ bouncing leg. He has been extremely anxious since yesterday. We are on our way to Ivy’s clinic, Claudia’s OB-Gyn friend who’s been taking care of me since we moved here to Huntersville. Once he gathered himself from the news of my pregnancy, he called Ivy and demanded a schedule for an ultrasound. We barely got a wink of sleep. Both of us were eager to know more about our baby. I am nervous too, but Klaus’ nerves were a tad shakier than mine, I guess. He laced our fingers together, kissing my knuckles. “I’m excited,” he said. The sparkle in his eyes seconds his statement. He pawed the back of my neck, kissing me passionately. “We are having a baby, mia rosa. Our baby,” he hushed. The partition on the limo was up, giving us the privacy we need. We planned to keep the news to ourselves, relish in the bliss before we break the good news to our family and friends. “I know.” I cupped his face, tears of happiness clouding my sight once again.
~Rylee~Still patting my hair dry, I stepped out of the bathroom, finding Klaus with his laptop above his lap. Eyebrows creased in a frown, his fingers beating the keyboard with finesse.I rounded the bed, eyes trained on him, but he was so engrossed in whatever he was writing that he didn’t even ackn
~Rylee~I watched helplessly as they beat Klaus until he lost consciousness. We were outnumbered, and they were armed. I can make it out here alive, but they’ve captured Klaus. The captain, whom I only recognized as Gomez, lay lifeless on the captain deck’s floor, a gunshot wound through his head.“You
~Klaus~Whatever dad’s response was, I didn’t hear it. I shoved my phone in my pocket, leaving the line open.Kino, my treacherous cousin, walked to where I was. Five armed men followed behind him. My eyes drifted to the captain’s deck; Gomez was nowhere in sight. I’m afraid he left this earth earlier
~Rylee~Grabbing Rain’s forearm, I drag her away from the cell. Her ears and nose were venting out steam when she saw Kara.Despite the sound of chaos echoing from the end of the passage, she struggled against my grip. “Let me go, Rylee,” she hissed. “I will kill that bitch!”“No,” I said firmly, “you
