Mia and Ethan are best friends. When they start to feel the mate bond at a very young age their parents intervened confusing them. Right before their 18th birthday they meet again. But outside forces threaten to break their bond again. Will the two mates finally get their happily ever after or was their relationship just never meant to be.

MIA'S POV
At age 10Waking up, I can't help but smile. Today is Saturday,and I'm going to the park with my best friend Ethan. We have been friends since we were four and we even have the same birthday. Now,six years later we are practically inseparable.Ethan is Alpha Kai's son,our Alpha to be and our neighbor. We are werewolves which is so so so cool. I am excited to see Ethan and go play on the swings with him at the park. He always pushes me so high and it is so fun.I hurry and climb out of my bed almost tripping and falling. I am quite clumsy for a wolf. I rush out of my bedroom and down the hall to my parent's bedroom. We live in the packhouse with about hundreds of wolves.Knocking on the door,I scream for my parents to wake up. "Mom! Dad! Wake up!. It is time for the park." I yell not caring who hears as everyone around is already used to my antics by now. Ethan and I run down the halls yelling everyday.My dad slowly opens the door,his black hair sticked up everywhere and he is yawning. He is still in his red pajamas. I guess I did wake them up. I hope they are not mad at me I am just super excited. However,my dad just looks down at me and smiles."How about breakfast first Mia. You need all your energy for the park". He yawns again and I nod and jump up and down excited."Okay dad. Yay! Yay! Yay! I will go and eat like the big girl I am and I'll get dressed. " I clap my hands and run away. MIA'S POVThe stopping of the elevator makes Ethan pulls away.We make eye contact and he grabs my hand pulling me into his room. I look around shocked by the apartment as he's practically living in luxury while my friends and my friends and I are living in a shack compared to his room. Forget my friends. Not now. I try to let go of Ethan but he refuses."Ethan stop. My friends are probably worried". He ignores my statement and pulls me onto a couch. He sits down and I straddle his lap. My mouth opens to protest but he starts peppering kisses along my neck again and I melt into his embrace. "Fuck Mee. I've missed you so much". he whispers along my skin. A moan escapes me as he kisses along the crook of my neck where my mate will mark me. He hands are gripping my waist as I grind into his hard member.

ETHAN'S POVI take a sip of my whiskey feeling slightly buzzed when Liam elbows me and points to the crowd. It's Edward and he's making out with some she-wolf but according to how he described his mate, she's not it. The girl shoving her tongue down his throat has red hair and is wearing a blue sparkly dress. I take a deep sigh. " I feel sorry for whoever his mate is". Liam points to another spot in the crowd. " I think that's her but I'm not sure. She doesn't look like she cares about Edward though". I look at the spot he's pointing at and sees the back of a brunette. The girl has long wavy brown hair, a tight back dress and black boots. She is dancing alone. Unlike me, she looks like she is having the time of her life and for some reason I feel this pull to go to her so I stand up. "I'm going to talk to her".
