Her room was very quiet.

The call rang twice and no one picked up.

She dialed the third time again, and finally Adrian picked up.

“Hello?” She asked, trying to sound calm.

There was silence.

Then his voice finally came, calm, cold, and controlled.

“Why are you calling me this late?”

Clara swallowed her saliva nervously.

Then, outside the door, the scratching continued.Clara was so scared that she held her breath, she was afraid that the person outside would hear her breathing.“Clara.”Adrain called again, his voice was soft and calm, but it was scarier than shouting. Tears filled her eyes when she remembered the strange woman who told her to find the hidden door before midnight.Clara looked around the dark room and her heart sank.“How am I supposed to find a door,” she whispered.“And my hands are tied.”For a few seconds, she kept quiet and was just observing the room in the dark, then she noticed something near the wall.A small metal hook was sticking out of the floor, it was rusty and sharp.Clara looked at it and a tiny bit of hope filled her chest, maybe she could use it.She dragged herself towards it slowly, the floor was rough, but she kept on moving.Outside the room, she heard footsteps, slow footsteps as if som
