LOGINBRITTANY'S POV
I lost track of time. I had no idea how long I had been stuck in this room or how long it's been since I've said a word to anyone and I think I've lost count of how many times people I've come into my room. I was sure I could remember how many people entered…I guess, but I wasn't sure how many times… And I haven't eaten either. How much longer could IDIEGO'S POV The warehouse reeked of smoke, gasoline and blood. I stood in the middle of the mess with my jaw clenched tightly as men rushed around salvaging what was left of the shipment Gregory’s bastards attacked. One of the black trucks still had bullet holes riddling the side, its headlights shattered completely. Bodies of several of our men lost in the blood bath were being dragged across the concrete floor toward the back exit while a lot of other injured men lay around groaning in pain. My jaws clenched and my hands clenched into fists. This was a fucking disaster. Where the fuck was Zayne anyway? Was he really dealing with Greg? This was getting too much. Greg was becoming more daring. I guess he had to find a way to strike at Zayne since he couldn't directly attack the club.
BRITTANY'S POV Penny finished gathering up all the trash and rearranging the room and she dumped everything in the trash can and came to sit beside Margie on the floor at the edge of the bed. I was lying down now, facing the door, my face close to their heads. The room was quiet aside Ria’s soft snoring. Margie’s eyes kept drifting toward the door Diego had walked out from moments ago. “You miss him that much already?” I asked in a teasing voice and she snorted and turned her head slightly to glare at me. “I'm just worried, bitch.” She mumbled. Yeah, I was too but I didn't want to have to worry anymore. We could talk about something…anything to get our minds off everything that had happened so far. It's only been a day since I woke up but everyth
BRITTANY'S POV The last movie had ended and everything was silent again. Ria had fallen asleep on the floor, her head resting awkwardly on a pile of extra pillows, a faint snore escaping her lips. Penny was quietly gathering the empty plastic bags and soda cans, and tidying up the room while being careful not to wake Ria up. Margie was sitting on the edge of my bed now, her eyes fixed on the blank television screen as the credits rolled. She didn't look as hyper as she had been all day since I woke up, and even while on our tour with Diego and while we watched movies. It was quite late at night now and she seemed calmer and serious? Yeah, strange right? It wasn't like her. Or maybe she had been putting up a front for my sake. “She’s right, you know,&rdq
BRITTANY'S POV Diego dropped everything in his hands and got to work. The wall just beside the door seemed to be the best option and worked as the perfect spot to install the television. Diego took off his shirt too quickly without thinking about the room full of women. A loud “Ooh” escaped Margie's lips as her eyes were drawn to the sight of Diego standing shirtless in the room. Ria snorted, “What's this? Would you put your shirt back on, please? You're grossing me out.” she mumbled and threw a bag of chips at his head. He turned to glare at her without saying a word and his eyes drifted to Margie. She smiled suggestively and batted her lashes at him as lay spread out on the blanket, her chin resting on her folded hands. “I love the view, keep going.” She murmured. Ria snorted and glared at Di
BRITTANY'S POV Margie was beside herself with mortification. She couldn't believe her ears. “What the fuck? Wait…things like this really happen? I thought they only happened in books!” She exclaimed. “It did happen.” Penny said painfully. “Oh my God, that is so messed up. Fuck, I would go crazy too. He must have had a hard time. I mean, I'm sure he hated his mom but he couldn't have wanted her dead. Even if he did, he probably didn't expect to be the one to do it.” Of course, Margie was right. I couldn't believe I accused him for a moment there. How could anyone not go crazy if the same thing happened? Now, I understood that one conversation we had before. I couldn't imagine the guilt he must have felt. He couldn't have realized either that
BRITTANY'S POV I had a feeling she definitely wouldn't listen to me. It was Margie after all and she did whatever she wanted majority of the time. “Okay, I get it, okay. I'll do that. I promise, okay? You don't have to worry about me.” She said and pulled my hands away from my face. I frowned as I searched her face for signs that she was joking but it sounded like she was serious. “You're not joking?” I asked. She rolled her eyes. “Yeah, I wouldn't want to upset a Mafia bitch.” She replied with a mocking voice. I let out a frustrated sigh and she burst into laughter. “Hey, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm serious, okay? I'm going to avoid her. Ugh, I'm just pissed I had to leave the club because of her.” “I was looking forward to
ZAYNE'S POV She didn't beg. No matter how hard I bit her, she just stood there whimpering and never begged for a second.I raised my head and stared into her eyes. Her eyes were shut tight and my eyes followed the trail of tears flowing down her face.My brows furrowed in frustration. Those fuckin
ZAYNE'S POVFor the first time in my life, I was confused. I was pissed off as well, but the anger I could relate to.I was always angry, though I never showed it. The confusion was a first for me.I was confused as to why her tears made me react the way I did. Seeing her crying made me uncomfortab
BRITTANY'S POV Penny already got everything I needed for a bath ready, so when we got to my room, all I had to do was step out of my uniform and get into the tub.I must have spent more than an hour there and I even fell asleep because of how exhausted I was and how nice the water felt.Penny woke
BRITTANY'S POVIt was ridiculous. That bitch literally controlled everything. Zayne didn't seem like a simp to me but who knew how he acted when he was behind closed doors with Barbara? This was all her way to keep on Zayne's girls. As if she was telling us to know our place and not even dream. But
