XAVIE

A moan slipped out of me as I became conscious and tried to move my body. The action caused me a great deal of pain as another moan escaped my lips.

Adjusting my eyes to the sudden brightness of the room, I looked around wondering where the hell I was. My throat felt tight and dry, as if I had been out for days.

"Easy, your body is still very much fragile." A soothing motherly voice said, causing me to twist my head in her direction.

I didn't recognize the woman in front of me which caused me to ask the same question that has been bugging me the minute I became conscious. "Where am I?" I asked her, hoping she would provide me with an answer.

"Oh, You're in the Blood-Moon pack. Our Alpha found you on the beach shore and brought you back here, I'm the pack healer and you're currently in the pack guest room receiving treatment." She explained which was more than I hoped for.

"Blood-Moon Pack?" I echoed, it didn't ring any bells. I closed my eyes, having a quick flash back of the events that probably led me here. "Has anyone reported me missing yet?"

Talking was costing me another great deal of pain, my throat felt restricted with each syllable of words I pronounced. "Can I get a glass of water please? And how long was I out?"

"Four days? Five?" She pushed my hand away when I tried to take the cup from her. Instead she fed it to me. "You were in a very bad shape when our Alpha brought you in. He has been waiting for you to awaken, I better go inform him now." She dropped the glass cup and went away.

Once she left, I closed my eyes, allowing the tears to streamed down my face. How could the two people I love most end up betraying me? Despite signing my inheritance to them, and promising to let me live, they still went ahead to try and kill me.

How did I survive? I shivered recalling the pain of being stabbed multiple times by Annika. Alec did nothing to stop her, he stood there and watched as I collapsed on the floor. Whatever happened next, I had no memories of it until now.

I quickly wiped my tears away when I heard the door open, the healer was back but this time with a tall dark gentleman. His catlike eyes caught my attention as he approached the bed.

He looked at me as if I were a puzzle before turning toward the healer, he made some hand gestures I didn't quite understand.

"Just a few minutes ago." She said, "This is Alpha Kian, the Alpha of Blood-Moon pack, he's the one who saved you."

I tried to sit up but my body protested. "Thank you so much, I owe you my life." Which was true even though I didn't know what to do with that life now.

I didn't want to think about it for now but one thing was certain, I thought as anger flared within me. I'll get every penny they took from me and make them pay for what they did to me! I don't know how yet but that was my intention.

The Alpha lingered, listening to the healer explain my current health and stuff. I might have been a fool once but I wasn't foolish enough to think he cared that much.

He probably wants me out of his house and pack, which I understood. As soon as I was healed enough I was getting the hell out of here and finding ways to get back at the people who took everything from me.

It took weeks for me to make a recovery and I wasn't talking about a full recovery because the healer told me that would take about a month. But my body was healing and that was good news.

She had tried to get closer to me these past few weeks but I kept her at arm length, I was done with people! No matter how kind they seem because looks can be deceiving, Alec taught me that and I'd die again before trusting another human being.

The healer had informed me that their Alpha wished to have a word with me. Something I had been anticipating for a while, plus I was strong enough to move around on my own for a few minutes before my muscles grow weak and I need help again.

I sat down at the edge of the bed, eagerly looking at the door. I didn't have to wait long because soon, he walked through the door, a man trailing behind him.

I masked the fear inside me as he sat opposite me, even sitting down he was huge, far bigger than me. Making me feel smaller than I already do, I hated that.

Feeling small was a sign of helplessness and I refused to feel that way even though my current condition wasn't making it easy for me. "Thank you again, for your hospitality." I will pay you back one day, I wanted to add.

"Hello, I'm Tint. Here, to translate for Alpha." I didn't understand what she meant until the Alpha started to sign.

"I'm glad you're feeling okay, according to what madam Hilda told me you're expected to make a full recovery within a month." Tint, the translator interprets the signs, it was then I finally understood.

"I wished it was sooner, so I can get out of your hair." I responded so he knows I'm not planning to overstay my welcome.

He signs, and Tint quotes. "Now that you are well enough, I have some questions I would like you to answer, starting from who are you? My best spy was only able to come up with a fraction of information about you."

I liked the fact that he didn't try to hide it from me. I would have done the same thing, maybe not before but now. "You were the one who saved me, what do you think my story is?"

Tint quotes him again after he finished signing. "You are hesitant." and then he launched into a story of his sister who died in the very similar situation I was in, only that I was lucky to have been alive.

By the time he finished, my eyes were wide with shock. "Alpha Alec of Shadow-Wolf Pack? He was my mate as well, he and my half sister did that to me." I declared, my hesitation forgotten.

He tensed at my declaration, his eyes narrowing to a slit in a very frightening manner. He didn't sign anything but the expression on his face told me more than words could.

Tint suddenly left but returned with a pen and paper, she left again leaving us alone. For about five minutes, he wrote on the paper and once he was done, he handed it to me and stood up, walking toward the window.

The note read; "I'm sorry for what happened to you, although my sister was not as lucky as you. I knew there was more to her death but I had no proof. I think the moon goddess sent you to my pack for a purpose because I want the man responsible for my sister's death to pay."

I also stood up. "You're right about that, in order to make sure I get my inheritance back, to make sure no woman becomes his victim again...I will make him pay as well." I told him.

He looked at me, visibly shocked by my response. He probably didn't think I would agree right away but then he had no idea the depth of anger and pain coursing through me.

"But how do you suggest we do that? Alec is a powerful man, an Alpha for that matter it will take more to bring him down and I'm prepared to do whatever it takes."

He took the paper from me and wrote something down again before passing it to me.

It says and I quote. "To bring an Alpha down, you need the help of another Alpha... and a Luna…"

XAVIE Abigail and I couldn’t contain our shock as Annika crashed into the meeting we thought was secret. Naturally, I looked at her for some answers as she pulled me aside to possibly explain. “I promise you Nyxia, I have no idea she was going to show up. One of the Nova must have informed her. And she couldn’t be stopped from entering the Pack due to the fact that there’s no enmity between Shadow-Wolf Pack and Keystone Pack.” She explained, leaning away from me when we were joined by one of the novas. “I told her to come.” I recognized her as Heather immediately she spoke. “She called me last night, ranting about how you are making a fool of everyone. Others have spoken about it as well, that she was calling them up and saying some crazy things.” “Crazy things?” Abigail echoed, glancing at me. “I have no idea…” I shrugged off their curious expression. “It doesn’t matter that she is here, we could vote right now.” “Your hair…”Abigail remarked as we walked back to the group. “Did

KIAN He dropped the telephone, his face set into a grimace as he did so. There were still no words from Logan, while he understood that he could watch out for himself. He couldn’t help, but be worried about him.He looked up as someone knocked on the door. He knocked back on his desk, letting the person know they have permission to come in. Tint strode in a second later, much to his surprise. “I don’t know how to say this, but I’m going to say it anyway.” She started, fiddling with her fingers nervously. “Nyxia went to meet Annika around noon yesterday. Apparently she saw Nyxia and freaked out.” At first, he couldn’t understand why that would be a cause of worry, until he remembered that Nyxia bears a closer resemblance to Xavie. Which of course is bound to rattle Annika, who believed her to be dead. He ran his fingers through his hair, shutting his eyes for a moment, he tried to think of something. Opening them back, he noted she was still staring at him, a little scared of what

XAVIE One could imagine my shock, when I received a letter from the Luna of Shadow-Wolf Pack, asking us to meet up. The last time we met, she didn’t bother to hide her dislike for me. But I couldn’t say I blame her though, because I don’t think I can be friendly toward a woman my mate has cheating allegations with. Anyways, isn’t he supposed to trust her husband? Speaking of Alpha Alec, he rubbed me off the wrong way. As much as I wanted to find out why, I was more than happy never to interact or see him again. Half an hour later, I was on my way to meet with Annika since she was already at the pack. It would be rude to leave her stranded, besides I was curious to know what she wanted. I was on the verge of going into the car when I noticed a commotion happening a few feet away from me. I recognized Shade, but not the woman or man standing next to him. Derek came out of the grand hall to shake their hands. I shook my head, wondering why I was interested in that. I went into the c

KIAN He heard her breath hitch as he went down on his knees in front of her. His mouth watered with a need to taste her, parting her folds with two fingers, he swept his tongue across her pussy, earning a breathless moan from her. It felt like a reward, to know he could make her feel that way. Despite his cock hardening to the point of pain, he focused on licking and kissing her pussy like he would her mouth. Oh, the sounds she made, especially the ones between a sob and a sigh, they were his undoing. She grabbed his hair, tugging him upward to kiss her. Teasing herself on his tongue, made her bulk wild beneath him. Just then he recalled he was on the phone with Logan a few minutes ago. And the premise of the fall was to inform him of his arrival because he had gotten another new information. Pulling away from her, he smirked when she eagerly reached to pull him back. Once he secured the lock on the door, he went back to kissing her. The second her hand went into his hair, tuggin

XAVIE I smiled when I felt his arms tightened around me. My eyes shut involuntarily, and we remained in that position for several minutes. Lifting my head, I turned my face upward at him, giving him an almost shy look. At that moment, all I thought about was kissing him. He reached out to touch my face, his hand pushing my hair behind my hair. My eyes slid toward his lip, my own tongue unconsciously sweeping out to wet my lips. There was a pause in his hand movement, then he was urging me up. The second my lower body lifted, matching his height. He captured my lips in a kiss that made my knees buckle. Letting out a breathless sigh, which he swallowed up immediately. Creeping my fingers up his neck, I urged him on, kissing him back with the same intensity. Between my thighs, I could feel the core of my desires throbbing with the need to have more of him. As soon as I enjoyed kissing him, I wanted his mouth elsewhere. The thought came out of nowhere, causing me to pause. Something

KIAN Ever since Xavie showed him the scars on her body, he had repressed the boiling rage simmering inside him for two fucking days! It was no surprise to him, when all that self-control went out the window the second he laid eyes on Alec. His fist collided with his jaw so hard that he didn’t care if he fractured a bone. Although a blow like that could do damage to no one except the person it was intended for. He wanted to go another round on his face, but he had to refrain himself from doing so when he glimpsed Xavie’s worried face. Not even his armed guards would have been able to save Alec from him that morning. It’s mid-moon and he has driven back to the country to speak with Logan. He wanted the discussion away from the pack house to avoid anyone walking in or getting suspicious. While Shade only knew the surface of what was going on, and if he hadn’t been so busy with being in charge of Valley Pack in his absence, he knew his friend would be snooping around to know what was g

XAVIE The music slowed until it came to a stop and everyone on the dance floor including us started returning to our seats. Our seat being next to Alec and Annika didn’t go unnoticed by me. As soon as we were seated, the servers approached our table to pour champagne into the glasses in front of

KIAN He was the first to arrive at Valleymoon pack, the parking lots were filled with vehicles that made him conclude that Alec’s idea of few was very flawed. He stepped out of the car, adjusting his midnight blue suit while glancing down at his wrist watch at the same time. He was just starting

KIAN He received a letter from Tint the following day, he wasn’t expecting one from her and when he got it, his thoughts were something terrible must have happened. Sitting behind his desk, he ripped the envelope apart, his heart racing. He also didn’t get a wink of sleep last night and if he di

XAVIE I woke up for the second time from a nightmare, except this time when I looked out of the window, daylight reflected back through the curtains. Sitting up, I pressed my back against the bed frame, bringing my knees up to my chest. While having nightmares was a constant thing for me, this pas
