LOGINNina lost everything for love. Her family, her home and her name. But the man she trusted most rejected her in front of everyone… and called her nothing. Broken and with nowhere to go, Nina helped an injured man, which leads her to a dangerous pack ruled by a cold Alpha with secrets darker than the forest that hides them. She was called a spy and judged by all. But when the elders demand an Alpha presents a Luna, there is no one else available… and she is the only person he can use to protect his position. So he chooses her. Not because she belongs to him. Not because she is wanted. But because in his world, survival comes first—and Nina is now caught in a role that was never meant for her.

Nina’s POV
I left my father’s pack because of love.
They said Logan wasn’t good for me, so instead of leaving Logan, I left my family, my title as the alphas daughter, I left my position and travel to Logan pack.
But, this is a chance to prove them wrong.
Today was the challenge for the alpha position and if Logan won, he would prove to everyone he was worthy of being my mate.
As the most powerful Warrior, I had personally train him myself, I had taught him everything he needs to know, I had taught him beyond anyone could imagine, I stayed up late forcing him to push past his limit, but of course, I was aware that strength alone can’t guarantee his victory.
So I had made a decision that I didn’t even tell Logan about because I knew if I leave Logan to fight this alone, there’s a high chance he would lose, his opponent isn’t just an ordinary wolf, but the betas son, he’s Kael.
Kael had always been terrifying in the arena. Bigger than Logan, faster on his feet, and experienced enough to kill without hesitation, so if I leave him to fight normally, it’s so certain who would lose.
And guess what? I didn't come here to watch Logan lose, never !!!.
I watched Kael stepped forward, rolling his shoulder up like the win belonged to him already, Logan also stepped in to the pit.
The fight started.
Kael shifted first, this was more than he imagined, as if he had planed this all of his life, his lack sold hit the ground with heavy power that made the earth shake, Logan shifted too.
But it’s uncomparable, even before the fight started, the crowd had started hailing Kael.
Under my cloak, I put in my hands and I closed my eyes as I reached the deep inside me, where my power lived, then I sent to him making sure no one noticed it.
I didn’t send him everything, it would be too much and he could crash Kael with it for a second, but I sent him the one enough for him to win the battle.
I felt it, some energy left me, yeah it would, I have just sent out half of my power to him, there was a sharp pain in my chest.
I staggered back, my wolf inside me reacted because something important had been taken from her.
But I stayed still, I have to watch this, I have to watch him win.
Across there, Logan stopped for a moment, his wolf paused, his eyes had change, he couldn’t understand what he was feeling but I did understand that he has received it.
I knew he has train, push his body, mind and everything but this was not training, Logan knew something inside him had changed.
Just then, the fight went on, but this time, everything change, Logan began to rise more , it became cleat, for the first time, Kael looked uncertain. The confidence he walked into the pit with was disappearing fast.
He was winning
Just with a blow, Logan teeth sank into Kael’s neck, which forced him to the ground, that moment, the crowd was shocked.
Logan just won.
I let out a deep breathe , finally, Logan did it, I smile while watching him shift back to his human form, standing proudly in the center.
Now, the moment….
Tomorrow, Logan would be announced publicly as the Alpha of Shadowwood pack.
And the most exciting one? He would announce me as his Luna.
I would finally be able to go home, to prove myfather wrong, that Logan was worth everything.
Chapter Eighty One – I Wanted to RunTristan’s POVThe voices of the elders slowly faded behind me as I walked away from the training courtyard, yet I could still hear the sound of the stone pillar crashing against the ground. The noise continued echoing inside my head, mixing with the image of Nina standing directly beneath it while every instinct inside me begged me to run to her.My steps remained slow because I could not suddenly forget the role I had been playing over the past few days. Even now, when no one seemed to be paying much attention to me, I forced myself to walk like a man who had not fully recovered. Every movement felt unnatural because my body wanted to move freely, but my mind kept reminding me that one careless mistake could destroy everything.I reached my chambers without saying a single word. The guards standing outside the door immediately stepped aside as I entered the room.A few seconds later, I heard the door open again.I did not need to turn around to kn
Chapter Eighty – The TestNina’s POVThe following morning began more peacefully than I expected, yet the peace never reached my heart because I had spent the entire night worrying about Tristan. Every time I closed my eyes, I imagined him standing inside the sacred arena seven days from now while the entire pack watched to see whether he still possessed the strength to remain their Alpha. His promise continued echoing inside my mind, and although I wanted to believe every word he had spoken, fear refused to leave me because promises could not stop danger, and they certainly could not prevent those who wished him harm. After breakfast, one of the palace servants informed us that several elders wanted to inspect the training courtyard before preparations for the Alpha’s Trial officially began. Tristan accepted the invitation without hesitation, and although I wanted him to remain inside his chambers and continue resting, I knew there was no point arguing because he had already made his
Chapter Seventy Nine – Shadows in the NightNikolai’s POVThe palace had become unusually quiet after sunset, yet I found no comfort in the silence because my thoughts refused to settle. Every passing day brought the Alpha’s Trial closer, and although everything appeared to be moving in my favor, something deep inside me remained restless.Tristan was supposedly growing weaker with each passing day. That was the story spreading throughout the palace, and it was the same story repeated by servants, guards, warriors, and even the healer himself. Everything suggested that my brother would walk into the trial carrying a body that had not fully recovered from the injuries that had nearly claimed his life.Even so, I could not completely silence the voice inside my mind that kept reminding me who Tristan had always been.He had never been a man who surrendered easily. He had never accepted defeat simply because circumstances demanded it.If there was even the smallest chance of standing aga
Chapter Seventy Eight – The Hardest BattleTristan’s POVNight had always been my favorite time to train because darkness had a way of silencing distractions, allowing a warrior to hear nothing except his own breathing and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. Tonight, however, the darkness served a different purpose because it was hiding me from the very people I had sworn to protect. The palace had finally fallen asleep. The last patrol had passed through the northern courtyard almost an hour earlier, the servants had retired to their quarters, and only the guards stationed along the walls remained awake beneath the pale moonlight.I pulled the hood of my cloak farther over my head before following the healer through a narrow passage hidden behind the old storage hall. Few people still remembered that the passage existed because it had been built generations ago as an emergency route for the Alpha’s family. Time had buried its entrance beneath climbing vines and cracked stone, making
Chapter Fift Two – Something I Was Not Supposed To SeeNina’s POVI had barely left Tristan’s room when my body started feeling weaker than usual, not in a way that made me fall or stop completely, but in a slow draining way that made every step feel heavier than the one before it, like my strengt
Chapter Fifty One– Wake UpNina’s POVAfter hearing those words from Nikolai, I could not stop thinking about them no matter how hard I tried. The entire walk back to Tristan’s room felt longer than usual because my mind kept returning to the same questions again and again. Why would he say somethi
Chapter Fifty – What Did I Just HearNina’s POVBy the time everything was over, I felt like my entire body no longer belonged to me.Even standing had become difficult.Every part of me felt drained. The healer had warned me that giving away that much power would affect me, but hearing it and actu
Chapter Forty Six – Still Not EnoughNina’s POVI had completely lost count of how many warriors Tristan had already fought. At the beginning, people were watching with confidence. They thought it would end quickly, they thought he would fall after a few rounds, they thought he would eventually gi
