Continuing my review, It's been almost 50 years and I was a minor at the time. I've read this book 3 times now and it still triggered me but the ending is what keeps me reading. Healing takes a lifetime but it doesn't stop a survivor to live a happy life, millions don't make it out alive.

I love this book, as for the people who call the author sick or psychotic, I just want to say as a survivor of kidnapping, torture & r*pe, there are some chapters that do trigger me, bring back nightmares & terror. But I see Sherah climb out of hell &heal, so did I. This author is excellent 🤍🤍🤍

I got to chapter 82, feeling a familiarity the entire time I was reading the book. Finally saw this was the same author who penned "Goodbye My Love". Now I understand why I felt emotionally abused the entire time I was reading lmao. This author's works are NOT for the weak lol. But now I'm locked in
