LOGINI was trying to think of reasons why I would be called to “the boss” office.
I clearly haven’t done anything. I made sure no one was passing when Emily raised her voice, so please what’s going on? “I’m here to see Mr Harold.” The words left my mouth and only then did my palms start sweating again like it did in the elevator. I couldn’t have done anything wrong, could I? His secretary doesn’t help matters either as she gave me a rather rude once over, looking at me like I shouldn’t be wearing what I was wearing right now. It was just a knee length skirt and a work blouse that had a small opening at my upper chest region. Just a little opening that showed a little skin and maybe a little view of my tits. But that shouldn’t be any issue. It’s Nathan and I’m pretty sure he’ll remember whose girlfriend I was. “He called for you first thing this morning?” She said, though it came out more like she was asking me to confirm what she was likely seeing in her system. I was confused but maintained a small smile, acting like I wasn’t scared why I was suddenly summoned. “Mmm mm. Am I too late? I can come another time if he’s busy.” I said quickly, thinking of a way out. I just couldn’t think of any reason why he would call me here. The only other thing I could think of was maybe it was to fire me? but he didn’t handle that directly, so it can’t be. Or can it? “He has the whole day free. Mr Harold flew in today and sent for only you so no it’s not too late.” Her voice was cold and definitely angry. He flew in today? I know he’s never around but why did he have to come in today to fire me directly? Is this all because of his bad blood with Ryan? I maintained my smile even though I hated the way she looked at me like I was about to snatch something from her. “Can I go in now?” “Yes.” She said very bluntly like we were fighting or something. I quickly walked away, really hating the suspense of not knowing why I was called here. “I don’t know what’s with fine ladies and doing plastic, do you all have to take every man?” She murmured to herself but loud enough for me to hear. I paused in my tracks, confused as to why and how she would mention me and plastic in the same sentence. I turned to face her, my eyebrows raised in confusion. Her eyes darts towards my chest very quickly and she looked away immediately, staring at her laptop like she didn’t just say something rude to me. I wanted to call her on it but on second thoughts it’s better I find out why I was summoned here first. His secretary was the least of my issues as my phone dings just before I could knock on Nathan’s door. ‘Hope you still went to work today? Please make sure you go and be a good girl for both of us.’ A message from Ryan popped up all over my screen. I didn’t have time to think it through and knocked twice and let myself in. His secretary definitely already told him I was here and now it was my turn to find out why “Good morning sir.” My voice leveled and professional. My greeting unanswered as the man I was to meet had his back at me. He sat down on the expensive looking chair, facing the glassed very tall windows, enjoying the beautiful view outside. He was a little taller than his chair so I could properly see his short buzz hair cut that was dyed silver. I stood still where I was, waiting for him to turn around before asking questions I felt were already at the tip of my tongue. Those few seconds were the longest as I had to stand and stare at his very near cut, take in his luxurious perfume to the point where I was sure that his perfume was definitely the only thing in my system right now. I almost forgot all about everything that happened before I stepped into his office all because he smelt heavenly. Too bad his actions weren’t the same. “Look around and pick a good corner so we can have your office set up there.” His voice was rich and rough at the same time. His chair turned round as he looked straight at me with a smirk. “And how are you Olivia?” He continued, his voice different. He looked different, I had only seen him once at a general meeting so he was definitely going to look different. Pfft. But did I just hear well? What’s with my hearing abilities today, do I need to go for a check up or something? I answered him anyway even though I wanted to ask how he knew my name. “I’m fine sir, thank you. Please can you come again? Or where you on a call or something?” I gave a small smile, looking at him closely to check if he had airpods on but none was there. He smirked even more. That weird kind of smirk that keeps you smiling even when you don't feel like it. “Look for a space you can turn to your office Olivia, or should I call you wife already?” The smile disappeared immediately, because I definitely heard correctly this time around. “I don’t get you? Are you high on something?” The words slip out on their own accord, before I could rethink and stop myself. I was pretty much having a shitty day already, I didn't need one more crazy person to add to it. Not with such an expensive joke. He wasn’t smirking anymore, he was freaking smiling now. “He did say you’ll be fiesty so I should take it easy with you.” He continued saying jargon that I didn't understand. I lost my cool Stance, hating the possessive look in his eyes right now. Ryan’s words played in my head as he told me how much of a playboy Nathan was because of his striking handsome face, his godlike body and family’s endless wealth but he should know better than to play such jokes.~Olive~ “You really are enjoying your change of name rights.” Emily muttered while fake sobbing. Trying to act like she was jealous. “Oh please stop. I thought you wouldn’t come after my text this morning and there was no response.” I raised my eyebrows at her and watched her act all guilty. She did a little show thing where she tried to avoid direct eye contact with me right after I called her out on her ghosting behavior this morning. “Okay fine fine. I shouldn’t have ignored it but I’m here, ain't I?” She smiled so wide. “Actually, I just wanted to surprise you and show up when you least expected it.” She explained herself and I nodded, going along with what she was saying, even though I didn’t believe it all. “Really? As if you would be here if I didn't text you about it.” I gave her an angry bird face and she couldn’t help it. “Okay stop, please don’t.” She muttered in between laughter. “Your face is too flushed to be acting all angry, girl it’s not working out for you.”
~Nathan~ “What did you need it for?” He asked, his four eyes fixed on me. “No questions Alex. Why are you even here?” I tried to focus on doing something today. Yesterday, nothing was possible as I just used my workers to relive my anger and now I was over it and should focus. I could have decided to stay home today but I needed to give Olivia a little space, so she could breathe after everything we did. If not, she’ll need to take drugs to relieve the pain. “So now you don’t want me here, after you didn’t come down after lunch?” He laughed in little bits. Still looking at me like that was supposed to get my attention. But he wasn’t in luck today. Of course, if he knew that it only meant his sweet little sister filled him in, which also meant he went asking. I didn’t spare him a glance. “Do you mind? I’m trying to focus but you keep disturbing.” “So now we are tight lipped. I can see the light in your eyes, boss. I just hope whatever you needed that for, doesn't put y
~Olive~ I held the pill can in my hand. I know he said it was okay to take it but do I really take it? He wasn’t sounding like gr really wanted me to but just wanted to give me what I wanted. And this morning he looked pretty normal and even woke me up to give me a kiss on the forehead before he left for work. And now I’m having a hard time thinking about this because now I feel like a pretty bad person. Knock knock. The door made little noise and we all knew who it was. Chloe. I almost forgot about her and right now I didn’t hsve the strength to stay so angry at her. Not like I didn’t want to but her brother almost scared me off and now I knew I love him and I didn’t want to be where else from his side. Meaning I’ll have to see more of Chloe whether I liked it or not. “Come in, if you are not here for trouble.” I barked out loud so she could hear me and quickly finished up with the can in my hand. I put it away, and watched her push the door open ans walk in. “Olive
~Nathan~ “Are you really serious about what you said?” She peered up at me, her voice the tiniest I’ve ever heard from her. I should be angry all over again but I couldn’t. I was damn obsessed with her and I couldn’t afford to stay angry with her. “What did I say?” I feigned ignorance. It was the easiest way out of this. I knew what I said and knew all too well I couldn’t go back on my words to her face but still..“Really? You couldn’t have forgotten just now.” She pulled away from me, straining her neck to look up at me from where I crooned her to my side. “You’ll be surprised that I have already.” I pulled her closer. I didn’t want her warm body anywhere away from me. I was still recovering from the almost fifteen hours time away from her, I didn’t need anymore of that again. She stilled, peering up at me like she wanted to confirm I was joking. And of course I wasn’t joking. Just playing along. “It’s not funny Nathan, you clearly said those words.” She stirred again and
~Olive~ I thought he wasn’t listening to me all these while, how come he heard and remembered that. I wanted to say something about it, ask him if he was actually listening to all that I said. Or even whine about him only getting angry at the fact that Ryan approached me and not him apologizing for lying to me. I’m too busy and sincerely there was no zeal or strength in me to say anything right now. I had no thought of stopping my husband from what he was doing. “Your pretty eyes, open them for me baby.” His voice was a low enchanting tone. One that put pictures in my head way before I could get to experience them first hand. And somehow it only made things more intense. I opened them because there’s no saying no to that voice. His two fingers that he pushed at once were still there, they were the ones filling me up so good that I couldn’t say a word right now. My mouth was still open from the full feeling. “You’re not saying anything? I thought you were apologizi
~Nathan~ I was enjoying the show, watching the way her eyes wandered and seemed to lose focus. Her eyes wouldn’t pull away from me and for a minute I forgot about the whole issue on ground. I wasn’t even angry anymore. I couldn’t keep that going after I walked in only to find her in that state. She looked so sorry and completely worried that she forgot to put anything on her feet. I think I let the whole matter go when I saw her in my shirt, her breast point and on full display. Her thighs were so visible that I warned Alex not to look downwards. I wanted him out of my house immediately and I even needed shots just to clear my head. I couldn’t act on the temptation playing in my head right now. I needed her to understand how serious this case was to me and how it should be, to her. So I endured the fucking temptation she didnt know she was dishing out to me. I was doing so well with my back to her until she walked in front of me and demanded to get my attention by al
~Nathan~ My steps fell into place right after her. She walked so fast and what Alex said about him hearing her anger through her text, I could so hear it right now in the way she stormed her way upstairs. She got into the room and I planned to push the doors shut behind her but I quickened my
~Olive~ I stood still, watching him from the glass. His eyes met mine but I was very sure he couldn’t see me. Alex followed right after. I watched them shut the door and his sister or cousin immediately stood up. Should I go down? Should I not? It’s a conflict in my head as I wanted to unders
~Olive~ He’s been awfully quiet, like he was busy in the head. If I’m not mistaken it was since he got back from his brief meeting with Alex. He was worried about something, the way he held my gaze when he buried himself inside me and last night's kiss.. it felt different. Like he was reminding
~Nathan~ “What do you mean we are not the only ones that’s offering her money?” “I offered her a fair amount, something that wouldn’t make her question my request but she wanted something higher and was quite adamant about it.” He explained, sitting across the table, the exact spot and the sam
