What was supposed to be a punishment for captain Ysabelle Gum soon turns into a romantic getaway when she catches the attention of a celeb musician on her team. Ysabelle has no interest in men, especially celebrities, she just wants to shoot and kill to her heart’s content. However, she is forced to reconsider when she is tasked with being his bodyguard. Ysabelle wants no part of it, not when the singer is hell-bent on making her love him. Actor and singer Jordan Bell was used to being fawned over, by fans and family. But he realizes he needs something else, something deeper. When he is cast in a military drama, Jordan and his team go to shooting stations, where he meets Ysabelle, who against all odds saved his life during a shooting mistake. Jordan is sure she is the one for him, and he vows to make her his bodyguard. But the thing is, Ysabelle has no interest in him, and no amount of broken bones will keep him away.

CHAPTER ONE - SEARCH FOR TRUE LOVE
"Uuwi na ko! Please lang huwag mo na akong pipigilan!" may kalakasang sigaw ko nang marinig ang mga yabag niyang papalapit sa walk-in closet.
Ilang araw ko ng binabalak ito ngunit lagi siyang nandiyan at nagagawa akong pigilan.
"Hm, yeah, Savvy-"
"Will you stop calling me Savvy? And please, let me go home!" putol ko sa panunuyo niya.
"Am I stopping you from going home? I don't, Savvy." Kiniling nito ang ulo at sumandal sa hamba ng pintuan.
Tumigil ako sa paglalagay ng damit at underwear sa maleta para lang maharap siya nang maayos. Ang kaso ay bagsak ang tingin nito sa mga damit kong nakakalat sa sahig.
"You're not stopping me, but what the fuck with those guards on the gate, Delton? Display mo lang?!"
Tumutok sa akin ang tingin niya at tila nag-isip pa kung sino ang tinutukoy ko.
"Nakalimutan muna yata si Manong June at Manong Baldo," dagdag ko pa.
Doon lang siya napatango, "Yeah. They are the subdivision guards. Do you want me to give them a day-off? Sure, I'll call them now, Savvy." Umakma pa siyang kukunin sa bulsa niya ang kanyang cellphone.
"Wait, I forgot to buy load, Savvy," wala sa loob na bigkas niya bago binalik ang cellphone sa bulsa.
"You are pissing me off, Delton. And please, stop with your lame endearment." Umirap ako at tinupi na lamang ang mga damit ko.
Tumikhim siya at kita ko pa ang pag-ayos ng tayo ng mga paa niya.
"Okay. So Savannah-"
"Don't call me that!"
"Fine. George-"
"And not that one!"
"Alright. Sage," malambing nitong bigkas sa pangalan ko.
Mabilis kong sinara ang maleta at tumayo.
"Better, Attorney. But that doesn't mean you can tame me. I still hate you." Ngumisi ako at pinaningkitan siya ng tingin.
Ngunit imbis na kabahan ito at maalerto ay binalik nito ang ngisi sa akin.
