LOGINI glanced toward the corner of the bathroom. A mountain of laundry lay there, neglected and forgotten. Perhaps the suffocating pressure had finally pushed the simple task of washing clothes out of my mind. My apartment was a complete disaster now, looking like a shipwreck.
"Ugh... What am I supposed to wear?"
I slumped onto the floor in utter despair. The only pair of pants I owned were the shorts I was currently wearing.
"Should I just cancel the session? But... what if I fail again?"
I ruffled my hair, the frustration boiling over. "Aargghh... I can't let that happen. Papa will literally kill me if I don't graduate this year."
Suddenly, a spark of an idea hit me. I scrambled up and rifled through what was left in my wardrobe. My eyes lit up when I found a cropped faux-leather jacket that reached just above my navel. I threw it on and quickly tied a flannel shirt around my waist. At the very least, it provided some cover for my thighs.
After all, I had no intention of becoming a target for that cruel professor’s whims.
I haphazardly smoothed my waist-length wavy hair with my fingers and twisted it into a bun. I snapped my laptop shut, shoved it into my bag, and clipped my freshly printed manuscript into a folder.
Fortunately, my apartment wasn't far from campus—only a ten-minute motorbike ride away.
I ran with every ounce of strength I had to reach Mr. Jefri’s office. But just as I arrived, he was already stepping out.
"Sir... Sir. I am so sorry I’m late," I panted, my breath coming in ragged gasps.
Mr. Jefri remained silent, his gaze sweeping over my disheveled appearance from head to toe. I pressed my thighs together and tugged at the tied shirt, trying to make it hang a little lower.
"You’re late. If you’re willing, the consultation will be held at my house tonight," he said flatly, brushing past me without a second glance.
I scrambled to catch up, cutting in front of him to block his path.
"Sir... Please, I need your help. Just for a moment. Tonight, I..."
My words trailed off. I searched frantically for an excuse to avoid a session at his residence. It was madness. Who holds a thesis consultation at a professor’s house at night? What if he crossed the line? There were already so many whispers about Mr. Jefri—rumors that he enjoyed taking advantage of female students for his own satisfaction.
"Tonight, you what?" Mr. Jefri asked. His tone was cold, piercing.
"I..." I bit my lip, twisting my fingers together. "I have a date, Sir," I answered softly, forced a hollow, nervous laugh.
Mr. Jefri adjusted the strap of his bag on his shoulder. "So, what you’re saying is... a date is more important than your degree?"
"N-no, Sir. That’s not what I meant."
He took a step forward. The distance between us vanished until only inches remained. He stared at me like a predator sizing up its prey.
"Go ahead then, enjoy your date. But don't expect to graduate this year."
The threat was ice-cold. He walked away with a casual, unbothered stride.
Panik seized me. I spun around and chased after his long steps.
"What time tonight, Sir?" I finally asked, trailing behind him as he continued to walk.
"Eight o'clock," he replied curtly, his expression remaining frigid as he disappeared.
I immediately broke into an imaginary shadow-boxing routine, punching and kicking his face into a pulp—though I was only striking the air where he had been. I was fuming. After all that running, he just brushed me off like that.
"Cruel, heartless man!" I grumbled.
My face probably looked like a sumo wrestler ready to charge. Even my hair bun completed the look. I didn't care; today was officially the worst. If I had known it would be like this, I would have stayed home and continued writing my novel instead.
Bzzzt!
The vibration of my phone in my pocket returned. With a face still dark with resentment, I answered the call without even checking the ID.
"Hello!" I snapped.
"Whoa... what's wrong with you? Answering the phone with that attitude!"
I frowned and glanced at the screen; it was Dita. My one and only true friend who hadn't abandoned me. The others? Don't ask. Dita was all I had.
"Dit, it’s you? Hehehe... Sorry, I thought you were someone else."
"What’s up with you? Are you PMS-ing?"
"No! I’m just pissed. I ran all the way to campus only to be ditched by your 'dream professor'."
"Hahaha... You mean Mr. Jefri?" Dita sounded far too delighted. It seemed she was ready to throw a party over my suffering.
"You sound way too happy about this, Dit."
"I am happy to see you being tortured by him. Besides... you hate that handsome man so much. Maybe it’s karma?"
"Forget it. I’m miserable. Comfort me..."
"Just come over here. I'm chilling at a cafe in Sadewa Mall. It's close to campus, right?"
"Fine, I'll be there. Uh... you're alone, right?"
"Oh, for heaven's sake, Erika... why are you so afraid of meeting people?"
"Heh... I just don't feel like talking to strangers. Fine, send me your location."
"Sure."
After hanging up, Dita sent the name of the cafe. I managed a small smile and shoved the phone back into my pocket.
But I had only taken a few steps down the campus stairs when it rang again. Idiotically, I answered it immediately while walking, without checking the caller.
"Hi, Dit. I got the location. I’m on my way."
"Where do you think you're going? Going off to slack off again?!"
The voice was high and heavy. The one voice I had spent my entire life trying to avoid. A voice that sounded like an ultimatum.
I pulled the phone away to look at the screen. My eyes went wider than before. Shock, tremors, and anxiety crashed into me all at once.
"Oh, Papa... how are you, Pa?" I answered, my demeanor shifting instantly into something soft and demure.
"Don't play coy with me! What is the progress on your thesis?!"
Of course. He didn't call because he missed his beautiful only daughter. He called to collect on a promise.
"It’s under control, Pa."
"Under control how? Have you been approved? Are you ready for your defense?"
"Ha... Hahaha." I gave a hollow laugh, lost for words. "It still needs some revisions, Pa."
"Revisions again?!"
I pulled the phone away from my ear. If I hadn't, my eardrums would have shattered from his shout.
"Yes—the thesis has to be perfect, Pa."
"How many times have you revised it, Erika? This is the fifth! You aren't focusing, are you? What are you busy with? Busy with that imaginary world of yours?!"
I massaged my throbbing temples; even my grip on my bag faltered. My frustration had doubled.
"I’ve been working seriously, Pa. This time, the professor is just being cruel. My thesis is good, really..."
"Now you're blaming the professor? What about the years before? Was that the professor's fault too?"
My body felt weak, and tears began to prick at my eyes. I felt as though no one in my family was willing to support my true passions.
"No, Pa. That was my mistake," I answered hoarsely. Despite my best efforts, a tear escaped. I hung my head, trying to hide it from the junior students passing by in the hallway.
"I don't want to hear it. You must graduate this year. If you don't, I will marry you off!"
"What?"
Tut... Tut...
"Pa! Hello..."
I turned to him spontaneously. "So... am I destined to be your mistress forever?"Jefri smiled faintly and kissed my lips once. "Call it a mistress, a concubine, or whatever you want. What's certain is... you will always be a part of my life."I was stunned by his words, yet simultaneously confused. He hadn't declared his love at all, yet he wanted to make me a part of his life.Powerful people are truly different, aren't they? They love collecting women, feeling like they can own anything with their money and influence.I might just be a mistress or a kept woman, but Jefri treated me like a queen. I was happy, yet devastated. Is it possible... that I can live in hiding forever?I gave him a faint smile, holding his arm against my waist.Jefri kissed my lips—slow, warm, and full of tenderness. We drifted into the romantic night, witnessed by hundreds of insects circling the balcony light, wrapped in the night air that gently brushed against our skin, and under the gaze of thousands of
I nodded, swallowing the last piece of meat in my mouth. "Mmm! Don't you want to eat?"I secretly hoped he’d say no, because my stomach still felt completely empty. Perhaps it was the effect of the vitamins the doctor had prescribed; my appetite had increased significantly.Jefri swapped my plate with his own, sliding the fork and knife toward me. "Eat," he whispered with a smile.Reflexively, my lips curled into a wide grin, my eyes sparkling. Without a hint of embarrassment, I began cutting into his portion and devoured it instantly.A few seconds later—Gurrrggglll! "Eehh!"—I let out a loud burp, then dropped back against the chair, rubbing my stomach. "Ahh, I'm stuffed..."Jefri suddenly burst into laughter, his head jerking back. I had never seen him laugh so heartily before. Did he really find my behavior that funny?I gave him a cynical look, pouting. "Is it forbidden for me to burp?"Jefri stopped laughing immediately, his expression turning tense. "Forgive me..." he said, then
With erotic and playful movements, I licked his nipples, making Jefri close his eyes and groan. "Aaahhh..."In the midst of my efforts to stimulate him, Jefri’s fingers wouldn't stay still either. He rubbed his middle finger against my core, making me all the more eager to suck on his chest.I licked his entire body, leaving love bites across his toned abs. Then, I descended lower to enjoy his "raw sausage" that was already "cheesy" with anticipation.Jefri looked increasingly restless. Occasionally, he would lift his head to peek at his member as I worked on it.Using my long tongue, I coated his member with saliva, then occasionally took it into my mouth, sucking with sensational intensity."Sssshhh.... Aaaahhh..." he moaned, thrusting his hips. Not wanting to wait any longer, I climbed on top and sheathed his member inside my nest.Slowly, I swayed my hips, savoring the wild sensation now under my control. Our eyes locked—warm and deep. Our breath hitched as if we were sprinting to
I just stayed silent, staring at him. Stop acting like this, I whispered to myself. It was better when you broke my heart. At least then, I’d have a reason to hate you. But when you’re like this, my feelings only grow stronger. So... how am I supposed to extinguish them?Slowly, Jefri brushed my lips with his thumb, then kissed me gently. It was slow... but lingering. We eventually drowned in the romantic atmosphere Jefri had created. He swept me up in his arms and carried me straight to the bedroom, leaving the dinner untouched.Jefri laid me on the bed and stripped off his clothes in a hurry. He tossed them aside, leaving himself completely naked. He looked full of lust and passion, his member already standing tall, as if ready for battle.Coincidentally, I was already wet from the moment he kissed me by the door. It seemed we would be feasting on "raw meat" before touching the wagyu steak on the table.Full of vigor, Jefri climbed onto the bed and pinned me down.I quickly caught h
Dita looked stunned for a moment, then suddenly laughed and patted my arm. "Stop joking around, seriously."In an instant, her expression turned serious again. She looked at me with that deep, warm gaze—the Dita I had known for years. "I know you're not the kind of girl who would do something so evil. And I trust that Jefri would never betray me."My heart sank. I could only stare at her with a blank expression. Why did I have to hear this? In a heartbeat, Dita had made me feel like the most wicked person on earth. If only Dita had told me earlier that Jefri was her fiancé, I never would have fallen so hard. But now, what could I do?I was already trapped in this forbidden relationship. And worse, I couldn't escape, no matter how hard I tried.Forgive me, Dita, I thought to myself. I've wronged you so badly. After a moment of silence, Dita’s phone rang. She dug into her bag and answered."Hello... Yes, sir. I’ll be back at the office right away."She spoke briefly on the phone, then t
Dita turned to me, her eyes wide. Her lips trembled, and beads of sweat formed on her forehead. "I..."She suddenly squeezed my hand, her expression turning panicked. "Erika... You’re the only one who knows about my relationship with Roy. Please... never, ever mention Roy in front of Jefri, okay?""So, this is what you call 'no secrets between us'?" I retorted. I gave her a bitter smile and looked away. "Turns out Jefri doesn't even know, does he? That you’ve been chasing Roy for the entire year you’ve been engaged to him."Dita bit her lip, glancing at me sideways. "That was the past, Erika... I’ve decided to choose Jefri now."How easy it was for her to say that. How easily she hopped from one heart to another without a second thought for anyone else.I sighed heavily, looking at her with a cynical expression. "If you’re still in love with Roy, why even say yes to Jefri?"Dita let out a weary breath. She pulled her legs up onto the bench, hugging her knees to her chest. "When Jefri
I fought against him with every ounce of my remaining strength, desperately trying to shove his solid frame away. Yet, an unnatural, volatile wave of heat began to spread aggressively through my veins. Placed in a position where Mr. Jefri's body was pressed flush against mine and his face was mer
I jolted violently, my fractured wits snapping back into absolute clarity in a single instant. I desperately shoved Roy’s naked chest away from me in a state of sheer panic. "Who on earth is that, Roy?"Roy whipped his head toward the door. The aggressive hammering only
I was briefly swept away by the kiss, even feeling a sudden, dangerous urge to lean into it more deeply. However, my scattered wits snapped back just in time. I violently shoved Roy’s chest away from me. "Roy!" I shrieked, bolting to my feet. "What on earth do you think you're doing?!"
Oh, no. Did I walk into the wrong room? I thought anxiously.I took a step back, meticulously re-checking the number plate on the door. No, this was indeed VIP lounge number 05. Yet, the sounds of heavy breathing and shifting bodies only echoed louder from within.&nbs
