LOGINKAIREN
“Wh-where are you taking me?…” She drawled as her jelly legs made their way across the pavement.
She reeked of alcohol and something sweet. Her scent has grown stronger in the last couple of minutes.
“Ohhh, are we going to get laid?” she giggled, limply leaning on me as I held her up.
“Where do you live?” I huffed, wanting to be rid of this woman as soon as possible.
“Ohhh, there.”
I looked in the direction she pointed and scowled. “That’s a dumpster.”
Her head reared back. “Oh.” She looked around. “Where did it go? It…it was right th—there.”
With no other choice, I turned and headed into the big hotel right across the street. It would be inconvenient, but it was better than watching a helpless woman get gang-raped by multiple men.
“S-sir?” The security guard at the door stared in shock. One look at him and the rest of his words died in his throat.
Everyone threw me a similar look as I walked into the hotel with a giggling woman in my arms. This would undoubtedly cast a slight stain on my reputation.
Ignoring them all, I walked straight to the second elevator and pressed the penthouse button.
“Wow, your room is so shiny…”
“It’s an elevator.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever had elevator sex before.” She mumbled, then grinned again. “Th—There’s a first ti—tiime for every…thing.”
And then tears, “How could he do this to me?”
How was she suddenly crying? Bipolar?
“He…” hiccup “he cheated…on me.”
Oh, that explained the excessive drinking. A normal human would have collapsed from that much alcohol. I sighed.
I couldn’t wait to get rid of her.
“I… I feel wet down there.” Her cheeks turned red as she rubbed her thighs together, causing her scent to thicken.
My dick strained against my trousers, and I scowled, hating the effect her scent had on me.
The elevator dinged, and I walked straight into my penthouse, heading for the bedroom.
“Ohh, this sexy stranger is going to fuck me tonight.” She whispered giddily. “He’s so handsome… I can’t…”
I could bet all my money that those were supposed to be inside thoughts.
Was this woman a flirty drunk, or was it the heat? Maybe both?
I would rather not find out.
“Sexy stranger, you look angry. Is everything okay with you?” She murmured, and I glowered.
With a huff, I released her arm, and she staggered onto the edge of the bed.
“Stay here tonight; no one will harm you within these walls. When you wake up tomorrow, leave immediately.”
I turned to leave, but she grabbed my shirt. “Aren’t we having sex anymore?”
Gosh! This woman!
I spun on my heel to face her, and she threw herself into my arms. Swiftly, I held her at arm’s length. “I don’t touch women who aren’t sober.”
She giggled, “I’m sober. See, I’m holding up three fingers.”
She was holding up five, but who cared? I pushed her until she sat on the bed, caging her in.
“You’re drunk, completely out of it, taken, and under the influence of your heat. You don’t want this, and the last thing I want is a woman who regrets it when I fuck her. So be good, stay here, and stop playing with fire, little wolf.”
“I’m not taken, he…” she hiccuped, “he cheated on me, and heat or not, I want to have sex with you!”
How brazen!
“I should never have interfered.” I muttered. Her heat was growing stronger and stronger by the second.
I have to get out of there before I end up making a mistake. “Listen, I can find your—”
The rest of my words died in my throat as the wanton, sexually frustrated drunk of a woman pressed her lips against mine.
Soft and sweet and willing and—
Everything exploded. A deafening roar escaped any lips as I slammed her back on the bed, breathing hard.
What the hell was happening?
I yanked my lips from hers, breathing in heavily as my beast fought within me.
Let me out! Let me out! Take! Take her! Take her!
Control it, for fuck's sake!
“Sexy stran—”
“Shut it!” I roared. This woman had just shattered my rein on my beast and sent me into a painful arousal state from just a kiss!
One fucking kiss!
I snarled when a moan escaped her lips, her eyes clouded with lust. I looked down and saw her shamelessly rubbing against my thigh.
“Fuck!” That did it.
The last of my control snapped, and I pounced on her like a starving beast with a slab of fresh meat.

My brows pulled at the center as my eyes danced between my eyelids.
I opened my mouth in a loud yawn, stretching my body to the limit as my eyes slowly opened, blinking lazily.
I stared off into thin air, watching the morning sunlight highlight the cream color of the wall and—
I shot up. Morning? Sun?!
I looked around and stared at the sunlight illuminating every corner of the room. My eyes widened, darting to the digital clock on the bedside table…
9:30 am.
“What the—Guards!!”

“Wait, so let me get this straight. You took her to your penthouse last night, and you, the God of ultimate control, somehow lost control and fucked this ‘woman’ into oblivion, then proceeded to fall into a deep sleep—uninterrupted by nightmares—and then send our men on a witch hunt?”
I regarded Valios with a nonchalant expression. “It really happened; that woman is out there somewhere, and I need to find her.”
“Forgive me for finding it difficult to believe. You fucked a woman you didn’t want to, like went full beast mode on her—”
“I don’t think he did. If not, she’d not have made it.” Flinn chuckled, his eyes glinting with mischief. The bastard was enjoying this.
“Don’t tell me you believe him.” Valios groaned.
“Of course I do. I was the one who told him to take her home, no?”
“Fine, let’s say I somehow believe he slept with a strange woman without the proper procedure. How on earth did he sleep without having a single nightmare tormenting him?.”
“That, Valios, is what I intend to find out.”
Something pushed at my mental barrier, and the minute I let it down, the words came in.
“Boss, we found her. She’s at the airport.”
THIRD PERSON'S POV“Make it stop…please.” Merilyn sobbed, “It hurts. I can't…” Kairen pulled her closer to him, “It's okay, I've got you, I've got you.” Their lips fused together, making him swallow up the rest of her cries. Her body shook every few seconds from the effect of the heat running through her. Was it this bad last time? He couldn't remember… not when his memory was so hazy. Her hands wandered over his body, setting fire to every exposed skin that she touched. He grunted, adjusting her until she straddled him properly. She was oblivious to his hand moving over her butt and his fingers hovering just around the hem of her underwear before snagging it off. “Kairen,” She moaned against his lips, tears rolling her face. “Almost there.” He whispered in between their kisses. She whined, begging to ebb the burning inside her. She couldn't even rub herself against him, not when he was gripping her leg so tightly she couldn't move. Kairen’s hand gripped the back of her head,
Valios hastily pulled the door shut. His hand on the doorknob stayed there a little longer than it should have, trembling. He couldn't even breathe. The air was suffocating with Merilyn’s scent. Finally, when he got his legs to move, he pushed away from the door, his veins popping at the side of his head, his fingers clutched so tight, the tips of his nails almost breaking through his skin. His beast raged against his chest, demanding they go back and mount the girl. Valios cursed under his breath. His vision swayed with each step. He had to get to his bedroom in time. He rounded the corner—“Woah! Easy there.” Flinn’s hands shot out, stopping Valios from colliding with him. His brows furrowed as he saw the haziness in his eyes. A smirk spread across his face.“The epitome of poise and control being drunk when it's not even dark yet? How fascina…” His words died off as he realized something else.Flinn's brows pulled together, a worried frown settling on his face as he recognized what
THIRD PERSON'S POVMerilyn rolled on the floor, writhing in pain. She'd never felt something as nerve-wracking as this. Her stomach clenched, her legs trembled even though she lay on her side, tears streamed down her face, her eyes blurred back and forth and her wolf howled deep inside her.Her beast seemed to be taking a bit of her pain, but even that wasn't enough to relieve the one shooting through every fibre of her being. She couldn't even scream for help and the mindlink couldn't work because she hadn't been accepted into the pack.Merilyn's eyes snapped open at the thought of Caigar standing outside her door. Her guard. She whimpered as loud as she could, tried to use her body to make some noise, but nothing happened.Lycans had super hearing; he should be able to hear her breathing. That could only mean one thing. Caigar wasn't at his usual duty post. Dread filled her and made her stomach drop. She was truly and utterly alone. Another wave of pain shot through her and Merilyn
Turned out, I didn't have any. The most scandalous things here were a set of granny panties. Who on earth went shopping for me? A hundred-year-old grandma?I plopped back on my bed, arms spread out in surrender as I stared into thin air. The door opened and Gwendolyn walked in.“My lady, you called for me?”I jerked up with a “Yes,” and swiveled on my butt to face her. “I need your help. I want to go shopping.”Her brows furrowed for a second before her face shifted to a blank expression. “What kind of shopping? I may have the best place to recommend for—”“Lingerie.” I blurted out, and she stumbled on her feet and almost fell.Gwen cleared her throat and squeaked, “Lingerie?”I nodded, trying to swallow my blush. “Yes, I need some. Good ones.”Gwen stared at me like I'd grown two heads. Every emotion she went through showed on her face like a blank canvas displaying an artist’s colourful creation.“What? Is it abnormal for me to ask for some?”“No.” She shook her head. “No. It's just
MERILYNNo.My heart stopped. Nothing could have prepared me for what he said. And yet I couldn't stop myself from wondering…. Did they regret it?When death looked them in the face and it was the child they'd gone out of their way to protect, did they wish they'd killed him instead? My eyes closed at the thought of something that devastating happening to me. I couldn't even picture it.“How did he take the news?”Beta Valios shrugged. “He didn't even understand it. I'm guessing it had to do with how young he was. He did cry when he realized he'd never see his parents ever again, but the understanding of what had occurred didn't dawn on him until many years later.”“You make it sound like he was a child when it… happened.” I trailed off at the seriousness on his face. I wished I hadn't, but yet, I still did.“How old was he?”“Eight.”My jaw dropped. “That young?! How can he shift so early?!”“Lycans shift when their beasts are ready and mature enough to present themselves. Kairen's b
MERILYN.Her emerald green gaze held mine as she closed the distance between us and folded her arms under her breast, the motion pushing them up in the air.Her lips pursed, moving from left to right as she stared at me. Every movement of her head made her platinum blonde hair shine like the moon itself when it caught the light and the little headpiece on her head glittered—the evidence of her royal status. Now that I thought about it, she looked like royalty. Elegant, graceful, with an aura of authority around her and a gaze that was almost condescending. She leaned in, her gaze condescending “You're still here?”When I didn't respond, she continued. “Despite me being here, you're still clinging to him. You reek of desperation.”“You're mistaken.” I replied. “The desperate one here isn't me.” My gaze slowly raked over her form. Her brows lowered and her eyes darkened. “Are you calling me desperate?”I shrugged, “You're the one who crawled out of whatever hole you came from and rushe
MERILYNMy brows furrowed as I felt heat on my face. I whined, turning my back to the sun threatening to burn my face off.I inhaled deeply, sighing at the comfort from the scent in my blanket. My head instinctively nuzzled closer, letting the sweet spicy oakwood scent of—Oakwood?!I jerked up int

MERILYNThe second my door shut behind me, I plopped down on my bed, unable to stand on my jelly-like legs anymore.“Who would have thought it was so nerve-wracking to be in the face of so many lycan elders?”“You're mated to the Alpha King and you face him every day. The elders are nothing compare
MERILYNA loud bang echoed in the air and I flinched.“That's preposterous!” One elder yelled, standing to his feet and glaring at me. “How dare you claim to be his mate?! How absurd!”“Do you realize what you're saying, Miss Merilyn?” A woman spoke up this time.I nodded. “Y-Yes. I am the King's m
