Savannah’s POV

I stood in front of the mirror with no regrets about the golden dress, though the reason I chose it was a different matter entirely.

It was a breathtaking dress that draped elegantly over my right shoulder, while the left side remained bare. The fabric hugged my waist, before flowing down to the floor with a slit that stopped at my knee. I left my blonde hair down in full waves that fell past my shoulders, and applied pink gloss to complete the look.

When I was done, the bathroom

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 36 - The Aftermath

Savannah’s POVI didn’t stop until we were back in the car. After slamming the door shut, I sat rigidly, my chest heaving with adrenaline, hot anger, and a terrifying panic I couldn’t quite suppress, refusing to look at the bleeding man beside me.Julian leaned his head back, his breathing shallow and uneven. The drive back was silent, neither of us knowing what to say. By the time we drew to a halt in front of the house, it was past midnight.I didn’t wait for the driver to open my door, I snatched my clutch purse and marched toward the house, Julian following behind me.I’d never been in this kind of situation before. I didn’t know how to feel. The moment the door locked behind us, my restraint snapped.I spun around, dropping my purse, my eyes

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 35 - Playing the Victim

Julian’s POVDamon came at me like a wounded animal, blood dripping down his face. He threw his entire weight forward, swinging a wild, clumsy punch aimed straight at my jaw. Under normal circumstances, my boxing training would have allowed me to evade the punch effortlessly and plant him right back onto the floor, and follow up with a punch hard enough to knock him out.But as his fist moved toward my face, a calculated strategy flashed through my mind and I saw a very good opportunity.Yes, I could beat him brutally without breaking a sweat, but I knew how these things worked. I’d thrown the first punch, if anyone bothered to ask, but appearances had never cared much for the truth, only for what was shown. I’d been bullied and preyed on by enough people, either for my dad’s name or for being born rich, to know l

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 34 - Crossed a Line

Julian’s POVIt was time for the party.I was dressed like the son of a billionaire, my suit hugging me like a second skin, hair combed back, looking perfect for the night. Beneath it all, my chest was tight with frustration.I looked over at Savannah, who was sitting as far away from me as the seats of the car would allow. She looked breathtaking in a dark emerald dress that highlighted her blonde hair, but her jaw was set into a hard line which I knew too well. She hadn’t spoken to me since the party became mandatory, and I feared her silence more than her harsh words. Dragging her into an even deeper mess was enough to make me hate myself.I knew she hated me already and all I could do was try to make amends because we were stuck for months on end.

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 33 - Just the Two of Us

Savannah’s POVHis exhale from last night was still echoing in my ears when we arrived, except now there was an entire farmhouse between us instead of just a hallway. Fortunately, the relocated farmhouse was massive, more than enough space for a very strict boundary line. Since the estate was still being set up, the upper floor had three fully furnished guest bedrooms alongside the master suite.Seeing this, I didn't hesitate for even a single second. The moment I finished unpacking the kitchen crates, I marched back upstairs, grabbed my remaining bags from the master threshold, and moved entirely into the furthest guest room down the corridor which was far away from the master suite, which I knew Julian would be occupying. Julian watched me from the hallway with his face pale and his jaw tightly set, but he didn't try to argue knowing I would always have my way and he knew be

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 32 - Not Done Trying

Savannah’s POVThe drive to our new home was silent, my door-slam still ringing in my ears from the night before. I refused to let my parents see how broken I was, so I kept my face blank as I got into the waiting car.I scrolled through my phone to check the damage from the leaked photos. Most of the posts had been quietly taken down, no doubt by our parents, but a few cruel comments still lingered, insulting me for something I hadn’t even done. Heaving a sigh, I put my phone away, ignored Julian, and stared out the window.I kept my face pressed against the glass of the passenger window, watching the familiar barns pass by, trying to keep my mind off things. When the car finally pulled to a halt at the property, I took a shaky breath and then, stepped out of the car. The new pro

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 31 - Behind Closed Doors

Savannah’s POV"We do not need an extra house. We can handle the press from here!" I said, stepping closer to the table, my voice cracking as panic threatened to swallow me whole. I looked at my mother, desperately reaching my hands out. "Mom, please. Tell them this is too much. Julian and I will do more interviews, we will go to more galas, we will do whatever the lawyers want under this roof! Just don't force us out there alone."My mother hesitated, her lips parting, but before she could say a word, my dad leaned forward and slammed his hand on the table."Enough, Savannah!" he snapped, annoyed that I dared refuse. "The decision is finalized. The county board is reviewing the environmental zoning bids at the end of the week and if you two are not residing in that house by tomorrow morning, that's when the real trouble will start

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 8 - Standing close

Savannah’s POVThe tension continued the next morning over breakfast. I didn’t mind because it was my main plan to piss him off, funny enough, my parents didn’t seem to notice. With a sigh, I picked up my coffee mug and took a slow, unbothered sip while holding his gaze. I arched my eyebrow in amuse

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 5 - The Bulls

Savannah’s POV“Move!” I yelled, having little time to react as I quickly dived out of their way. I had barely taken a breath of relief when I turned to see Julian, who was still frozen on the spot and he stood directly in their path.He was completely still with a frightened expression on his face

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 4 - The Move

Savannah's povI had always imagined my wedding to be like a fairytale wedding, filled with love and happiness. The wedding I had was the complete opposite. There were no joyful tears, no happy toasts, and certainly no romance. All through the brief wedding, I tried not to snap at a super cold Julia

  • Taming the Arrogant Billionaire   Chapter 3 - The Ballroom

Savannah's povI smoothed down the skirt of my black dress for the hundredth time while keeping my posture perfectly rigid. I felt entirely out of my element in a gown and I would choose my pants and t-shirt over this any day, but for the sake of my parents, I had to attend this gala.We were in the
