Chapter Seven

Jasmin's POV

After the incident with Christina at the cafeteria the other day, I've just been thinking a lot about Kyle recently and I think Christina awakened this intense attraction I have towards him because now, I want him more than ever.

Flashback 5 weeks ago

"Good morning darling!" I hear someone chirp so early in the morning.

It cannot be morning right now!

"Just five more minutes please," I pleaded covering my face with my thick blanket.

"No! Go take a shower now!" The voice thundered at me but I ignored it and still tried to get more sleep.

After silence engulfs the room  for a while, my body relaxes and I'm about to sleep for real but then my blanket was dragged away from me, exposing me to this cold world.

"What the actual hell!" I yelled and got up from my bed to see my father glaring at  me.

"It's too early to use such words honey, go take a shower and go to school." My father said before leaving my room.

I grumbled all through brushing my teeth, taking a bath and getting dressed school. Mornings were the most annoying parts of the day.

When I got dressed, I wore  a frown and went downstairs. My mom was in the kitchen making scrambled eggs and bacon which I always love having but I dread the days she makes them on a school day because I never have enough time to wait for them.

"Good morning Mom,"  I greeted with my frown intact.

" Do you always need to wear a frown every morning?" She replied while shaking her head.

" It's not my fault there isn't such a thing as night school, I never get enough sleep!" I complained.

" Because you're always on your phone!" She shot back and gave her a confused look.

Parents blame phones for everything, when they are always on theirs.

"Aren't you waiting to have breakfast? I'm making your favorite breakfast today!" My mom asked when she spotted me taking out my cereal.

"No mom, I can't wait! I have to pick up Lexi so I won't be able to." I explained to her and she went quiet.

" It's been a while she came over, tell her to come visit, I love having her over." My mom smiled and I nodded.

I hurriedly had my breakfast and texted Alexis I was leaving home already so she should hurry up with getting ready. I exited my house after waving my parents goodbye.

Alexis has always been there for me whenever I needed her to be and she would always support my every decision. It's no wonder my parents adore her because I do too. Alexis waited for me in front of her house and we drove off to the last day of school for the semester.

When we got to school, Alexis and Andy went off to meet with teachers for holiday homework.

My two besties have nerd inside their DNA.

I waited for them at my locker while I observed how weirdly quiet it was at the hallway but then Kyle walked in. Kyle has always been popular and cute but I never noticed him.

I wonder what was different today.

After much deliberation with my inner self, I finally decided to make a move but Christina beat me to it. She appeared out of nowhere like a witch and pulled him into a kiss.

The audacity.

I felt disgusted watching them kiss so I decided to meet up with Andy and Lexi at the chemistry lab but after seeing Kyle at the hallway I really couldn't stop thinking about him and then made a decision.

"I will get him to notice me." I firmly stated aloud.

The opportunity I was looking for came when Melissa decided to have a party she gave out invites to people and when she handed me one, I made up my mind that I wasn't gonna go but when I saw her hand an invite to him and he accepted it with a smile, I knew for certain that I just had to go to that party.

I skipped school the next day and went shopping, I know it was stupid but I couldn't control myself, I needed a really sluty dress to wear.

I went to my favorite store and selected some outfits and after like ten skirts and shorts. After trying eveything on and none fitting me, I ended up picking out a top that covered like only half of my boobs and a short just to show off my legs a little.

I arrived at the party early so I could search for Kyle but to no avail and within that time more than four stupid guys had asked me to dance but I ignored them.

Did he change his mind? Come to think of it he didn't exactly say he'd attend this party.

I couldn't just be waste my night waiting for a guy I wasn't certain would show up so I danced with a  weird guy who repeatedly asked me to dance with him. While we were still dancing, I caught a glimpse of Kyle.

He stood in the kitchen with a few of his friends from the football team and they seem to be deep conversations but they also held beer in their hands.

After noticing that Christina wasn't anywhere to be found, I decided that I  could use this opportunity to get close to him.

I had a shot of tequila and walked over to them and as soon as they sensed who I was there for, they left Kyle all alone.

We talked for a little bit and then I kissed him, I thought he would stop me but he didn't. I used the opportunity to kiss him harder. We stayed like that for awhile but then he pulled out, grabbed my hand and led me upstairs to a bedroom.

The bedroom was small and dim lighted, perfect for the mood. We found a comfortable spot on the bed and continued from where we stopped.

In between kissing, I felt his hands began trailing up my bare back and as soon as he was about to reach my bra, a flash from a phone distracted us. We looked and found Caitlin one of Christina's minions taking a picture of us. Before I could reach her to delete the picture from her phone, she ran away.

I chased after her but couldn't reach her, I saw her give the phone to Christina who first looked upset then an evil smirk appeared on her lips and Immediately, I hear chiming and buzzing sountd from everyone's phone, including mine. I opened my message and saw a picture of kyle and myself but I guess everyone was too drunk to understand it.

"You bitch, do you think you can take Kyle away from me?" Christina thundered at me.

"The slut couldn't just wait to get in bed with him"Charlotte pitched in.

"Well status update tramp you can't even be compared to me. Even your tits can't be compared with mine because yours seem fake." Christina said with a confident smirk on her face.

"I really couldn't care less about everything you say to me, so take your tits are leave me the fuck alone! " I replied before storming off and left the party.

End of Flashback

I was labelled the school greatest slut and it was Alexis that helped me overcome all their insults and glares. But one other thing that a still a fact was that even with everything, I still liked Kyle but I hid it away from Alexis because I know that if she found out, she wouldn't miss an opportunity to tease me.

I was so thrilled when Alexis told me that she had a crush on a guy, its been so long since I saw that excitement in her eyes.

But the sad part was that it wasn't Andy she had a crush on. Andy has always been there for her. It was totally obvious he liked her. But because Andy is my friend too I told him to keep on trying to flirt her and that maybe he could change his appearance a bit and then maybe she would notice him but now that she likes someone else I really don't know what to tell him.
