LOGINIt’s been five days since I started my new school and surprisingly, everything has been going well, more than I expected. Although I have earned a name for myself, nobody has come looking for my trouble. My friendship with Christy was improving and I might say we are heading over to the BFF barge, yeah, that’s if my parents don't return one day and announce that we are moving. I have had three BFF’s and three of them are no longer in contact with me because I moved so far away from them and I can’t even tell when next we would be seeing each other again.
I packed my books and walked to the cafeteria. I should head to my locker and drop my books but Christy is already waiting for me and I don’t want to delay her further. Stepping into the noisy cafeteria, I sighed and searched for her. I saw her waving at me, urging me to come to her which I did. “I was beginning to wonder if you have lost your way,” she said immediately I approached her.
“I’m sorry, I can’t possibly tell what delayed me and I’m starving,” I placed my books on the table and said to her, “I will be right back,” I scurried off to fill my plate.
Returning to the table with my tray, I sat down and began eating, “my, you are really hungry,” I heard Christy say.
“You have no idea.”
“Anyway, guess what?”
“What?” I asked with a mouthful.
“Josh is throwing a party tonight and guess who is coming? Adrian!” She whispered his name in a fawning manner.
“Okay, you literally asked a question and you answered it yourself,” I reminded her.
“I can’t help it, I just love saying his name,” she continued in that same voice.
I rolled my eyes at her stupidity, I mean, what is so special about the guy? “First of all, who is Josh?”
“Really, did you just ask that question?”
“I think I did.”
“Girl, this is your fifth day in this school, where have you been?”
“Are you answering the question or what?”
“Fine, he is the captain of the football team and he is friends with Adrian and Kevin.”
“Who is Kevin?”
“Are you joking or are you serious?” She raised her eyebrow at me.
I chuckled, “fine fine, I know him.”
“Good, so after school, are you coming to my house or are we going to yours?”
“What for?”
“To prepare for the party of course.”
“I’m not going.”
“Why not?”
“First of all, I have a little brother and he is just thirteen, I can’t afford to leave him home alone and second of all, my parents are not going to be happy if they found out I did that, third, I don’t think I want to go to a party with Adrian.”
“Don’t think I need to introduce myself anymore then,” a voice said above us and we looked up to see him. Talk about the devil. He drew a chair and sat down, “hi.”
“Oh my God, Adrian is sitting at our table, do you know what that means?” Christy shrieked.
“That we need to kick him out?” I filled in.
A low chuckle rang beside me and just for once, I will admit it was beautiful, now don’t expect me to ever say that again. I turned to him and he was looking at me, his ocean eyes as bright as the sea, and it wasn’t helping with the sunlight seeping into the cafeteria, “may I ask how you are going to do that?”
“With my leg of course,” I answered, just then, I noticed how everywhere had turned quiet and how all eyes were on me.
Adrian bent over and I wanted to ask what he was doing when he sat up and smiled, “I’m afraid your legs are too small to do that.” Unbelievable, this guy actually bent down to look at my legs? Is he for real?
“Don’t worry, you will be surprised at how strong it is, don’t let the look deceive you.”
He chuckled once more, revealing pearly white teeth, “I like your enthusiasm.”
“It’s not a matter of enthusiasm but how strong it really is. Now, enough chitchats, why are you here?” I gave him my full attention, waiting for his answer.
“Molly, we really need to go," Christy said and I looked at her.
“Why do we need to go?” I frowned.
“Have you forgotten what I told you?” She was looking at a table behind her and I followed her gaze to see Stacy staring at us with a mischievous smile on her lips. Then I remembered.
“Please don’t go,” Adrian said.
I looked at him, “go where? The only person going is you.”
He smiled, “I like that, well, rest assured I’m not going anywhere.”
“Molly,” Christy called again and I glared at her.
“Calm down Chris, he is the one to leave our table for us.”
“But I don’t want to drink toilet water.”
“And who said you would be?” I asked her.
“You know what? Let’s talk after school, okay?” She stood up, picked her bag and walked out of the cafeteria.
“Coward,” I yelled after her.
“Thank you,” she yelled back.
I looked at the guy who is now alone with me, “first of all, let me start by saying that I hate you,” his eyes widened in shock, “and second, you just made it worse by driving my friend away, so which means I hate-hate you.”
“Wow, that’s literally the first time I have heard a girl say to my face that she hates me,” he shook his head in surprise.
“And you will be receiving more firsts if you don’t get out of my table,” I warned.
“My friends are right,” he chuckled, “you really have a vicious tongue.”
“I haven’t even used it on you, but it's good you noticed. Now, what do you want from me?”
“Simple, I want to be your genie.”
Harley’s POVIt had been hard to get a good sleep last night, even though I had ran from Dandelion to home and should be freaking tired but I wasn’t or maybe I was so happy or hurt to do so. It had been a wonderful night. Aiden did make me wait till he was done with his meal before I could have mine. I didn’t mind, just the aroma of the meal was making me salivate but I was patient and pushed through. At the end, I had tasted the meal and it awakened my taste-bud. Everything else was amazing until the fireworks came up.I had been wondering why Aiden had reserved a table on the rooftop and had thought maybe he wanted to make the night romantic by eating under the stars. When the fireworks shot up, I had been so mesmerized and enchanted. It wasn’t my first time seeing a firework but it was my first time seeing it so close and clearly. I didn’t know Aiden had ordered for it until he made that comment he did, reminding immediately that I shouldn’t be the one there. Although my face was s
Aiden’s POVI sat in my seat, my eyes on a particular platinum blonde-haired girl. I still can’t get the image of last night from my mind when the fireworks came up. I had reserved a table at the roof top to impress Holly obviously and also for her to have a first class seat to see the fireworks. Going with Ugly had not been part of the plan but when those fireworks shoot up in the sky, her eyes had glistened over. I didn’t need to look up to see the fireworks for her eyes reflected it all very perfectly. It was just like looking in a mirror.I had been so mesmerized and when I couldn’t stand watching her so much nor notice how attractive she actually was, I said something. Something I knew I shouldn’t have said because she immediately looked at me.“Don’t get so full of yourself, this was supposed to be for Holly. I can’t believe I have wasted resources on you,” I had said and when she looked at me, those eyes that were so beautiful a second ago clouded over in tears but she didn’t g
Aiden’s POVWhat the heck is keeping her? It’s not like she was going to look different from how she always does so why waste my time? I glanced at the bathroom door again and groaned softly. I was starving and she is making me wait for no damn reason.Another minute or so passed and I couldn’t take it anymore. I climbed out of the bed and went straight to the bathroom but before I could open the door, it opened and I felt something crash into me. It smelled like lavender or is it jasmine? No, I know this scent, it’s not lavender or jasmine but Irish spring. Yes, that’s what it smells like, just like my grandma.Ugly took a step back from me immediately and looked up at me only to look down again, “I’m sorry,” she whispered.I stared at her, she looked…different. I can’t place it, I don’t have the right words but I sure as hell knew she wasn’t ugly. I have never seen her look like this, I have never seen her take some time into dressing up since she often dress in anything baggy. This
Harley’s POVI still can’t believe that Aiden wants me to go to dinner with him. Yes, he said it was part of my punishment but really, go out with him? That has never happened before. I was still mad at him, I tried really hard to still be but I was really starving and didn’t feel like cooking anything and now, a free meal is right in front of me. I stared at myself in my mirror after taking my shower and asked myself if I should really trust him. What if he just wants to get me out of my house and then dump me somewhere to walk home? What if he is taking me to a place filled with teenagers that are waiting to make my life miserable? It is never good happy thoughts with Aiden, I would always be on tenterhook on what next he would do to me. I have only ever let my guard down tonight and look how it backfired. I closed my eyes and heaved a sigh, its not like if I decide not to go anywhere now that he would let me. Knowing Aiden, he would probably throw me across his shoulder and carry m
Aiden’s POVI stormed out of Ugly Duckling’s house, not really knowing why I was angry. I mean, teasing her was my specialty but something about the way she looked at me tonight, the way she reacted, to be honest, I never thought she would buy my words. Obviously she should have known I wasn’t serious but she believed me and that’s not what shocks me the most. The fact that I was actually waiting for her to say something, I mean, if I hadn’t forced myself to laugh then, what could have happened? The way she had looked at me, I swear, I didn’t know when my heart started racing. There was something about her eyes, something about the way she looked at me that I can’t figure out. How could looking deep into her eyes have such effect on me? Then the look she had given me when she was angry. I have never seen her look at me that way before, hell, she hardly looks at me. But, she had not only given me that look but had yelled at me, why? And most importantly why am I affected? Why is the lo
Harley’s POVIn Aiden’s hand was a book of mine which he really shouldn’t be holding. The book wasn’t innocent at all and the fact that Aiden had found it in my room and was lying on my bed with his legs crossed as he read it, I didn’t want to think about what was happening in the page I left my bookmark. I was reading the book last night and getting to that part, I had became lost in thought, imagining Aiden doing all those things to me and had fallen asleep during the process which was why I had a dirty dream about him last night.“My, my, you always looked so innocent and it turns out now that you aren’t innocent at all,” Aiden’s voice sipped into my thought and I closed my eyes, wishing for heaven to save me. “He ran his fingers up my thigh and my body shivered in tantalizing pleasure…” Aiden read a line from the book and I couldn’t bring myself to open my eyes and look at him. “I moaned as his hand touched my clit and I looked deep into his ocean blue eyes, begging him to please
I glanced sharply at Adrian when I heard her word, what does she mean? Did he ask her to the dance? I thought he asked me? What does she mean by when they dance on the dance floor?Seeing the look in my eyes, Adrian turned to her and removed her hands that were circling his neck. He pushed her back
When I woke up the next day, Adrian was gone, and it was cleaning day for Max, his friends, Christy and I. When we finished, it was around twelve in the afternoon and Christy fixed us brunch and Max friends left after that. I expected Adrian to show up but he didn’t and I guess I have gotten used t
I looked at Adrian and the sparkle in his eyes, well, why not? So I grabbed some cans of beers and turned off the light before jumping into bed beside him, he pulled me close and kissed me on the lips before I could say or do anything. I pushed him away and pretended to be busy opening my can of be
We finally went home at 7:13pm, Christy had made sure we went to every available shop in hunt for clothes, at the end I had settled for a red gown with V neckline, it had tiny diamonds on the edge which sparkles in the light. I spent a lot for that gown and believe me, I wasn’t entirely happy but C
