The cold wind blew, people had their sweaters and coats on, Elara sat totally unbothered by the freezing weather, the cold did not affect her at all, her inner fire was burning her.

Exhaling a shaky breath she took her phone out and booked a cab and waited for the cab to arrive, she had inherited her grandpa's property, she is also a 45% shareholder in her father's company but she actually doesn't care about it.

She has always followed her passion which is Fencing. Her grandpa, Richard Montclair has supported her, he and her mother is her biggest supporter.

She stays in her own apartment which she had bought with her own money, she is independent and whatever she has now is totally because of her hardwork.

If she wanted she would've carried her grandpa's legacy forward but she was never interested in business stuff and her grandpa supported her passion, he even threatened Cedric that he will take that remaining shares and will transfer it on Elara's name if he doesn't support her passion.

Elara was engrossed in her thoughts totally oblivious of what was going on around her but her train of thoughts broke when she felt a soft tap on her shoulder, she looked up only to find a lady staring at her smiling softly.

The Lady was of her mother's age, she had serene eyes, purplish eye colour, dark brown wavy hairs, she looked divine even with the little wrinkles on her face.

Elara frowned in confusion when that lady pulled out something from her bag, A faded velvet shoulder bag rested against her side, strangely regal despite its age.

It was a book, the thing that lady held in her hand was a book, not any ordinary book. It was covered with a white cloth but still any one could guess that it was a book.

That lady forwarded that book towards Elara who stared at that lady's face then at the book but something caught her attention, it was that lady's wrist, she had a strangely beautiful tattoo engraved on her wrist, it was a beautiful sword and a blue lotus on the top of it.

Elara took her time to admire the tattoo, she felt strangely drawn towards that tattoo but she got out of her trance when that lady cleared her throat. Elara looked up at that lady who gave her the softest smile she has seen.

The same smile her mother used to give her, the lady gestured Elara to take the book which she unknowingly took. The lady again gave her a fond smile and softly caressed her hair on which she closed her eyes feeling calm.

Honk! Honk!

A sharp car honk sound cut through the silence as Elara opened her eyes. She looked around trying to find the lady but she found no one, that lady had disappeared like she never existed.

Elara was almost convinced that the lady she saw was her hallucination but then her eyes fell on her hand which held the book tightly.

Honk!!!

Elara looked in front to find that her cab has arrived, she got up and placed that book on the bench, the white dusty cloth was loosely wrapped around it, she tried to not look at that book again but her eyes betrayed her, huffing loudly she took that book and sat in the cab.

Soon she was infront of her apartment, she unlocked the door and got inside but shivered when cold breeze hit her, rubbing her palm she got inside.

She placed that book in the living room and went to freshnup. Soon she came back, a white fluffy cardigan hung on her small body, her joggers fit tight on her small waist, her outfit contrast to her personality.

She took the book and went inside her bedroom, it was simple , a small, neat bedroom with pale lavender walls. A single window with sheer curtains, her room glowed faintly as the sun hid behind the clouds.

Wind chimes near the window that rings even without wind which her mother bought. She sat on her bed holding the book, a plain white bedsheet but perfectly tucked in her bed.

Soft yellow light surrounded her bed when she switched on her side lamp, Elara coughed lightly as she blew on the white cloth which covered the book.

Removing the cloth she stared at the black large book , her soft hazel- brown eyes widened as she stared at the title of the book, her long dark eyelashes flickered as she roamed her eyes on that book.

THE LEGEND ALPHA PRINCE, that was the title of the book, she softly ran her fingers on the book and surprisingly that letters glowed by her touch as if it had recognised its owner.

Taking a deep breath Elara opened the book, her hands trembling as her long wavy brown hairs flew because of strange wind, She frowned as she took in the sight of a strange wheel rested on the first page, its surface etched with symbols she couldn’t read.

It was cold as Elara touched it it had a center gem which continuously changed colour, her frown deepened and she unknowingly spun the wheel, suddenly a bright golden light surrounded the room and Elara was long gone with no traces left.

She had disappeared.

  • The Human Bound to The Alpha Prince    The Bond Beyond Words

Seeing her mother Lyra immediately pulled away from Elara's embrace, her cheeks puffing in annoyance as she pointed an accusing finger at her brother. "Mother, look! Luci is getting angry at me!" The moment she reached Queen Vivienne's side, the Queen's expression softened. Seeing Lyra's swollen, tear-filled eyes tugged painfully at her heart. She gently brushed a few loose strands of hair away from her daughter's face, her touch as comforting as ever. Vivienne let out a quiet sigh. She knew very well that scolding Lucien would accomplish nothing. The Alpha Prince had harbored resentment toward her for years, and forcing him into another lecture would only push him further away. Instead, she silently chose peace over conflict. "It's alright, Lyra," Vivienne said softly, stroking her daughter's hair. "He must have had his own reasons for raising his voice. Don't cry anymore, my brave little girl." A teasing smile tugged at the Queen's lips. "Now... where has my little troublemak

  • The Human Bound to The Alpha Prince    The One Shadow Chose

Shadow rose from where he had been resting, his towering frame commanding the courtyard in an instant. Every gaze shifted toward the majestic black stallion as he strode forward with calm, deliberate steps. His sharp eyes never left Elara. Stopping right before her, Shadow lowered his head. Confused murmurs rippled through the crowd. None of them understood what the horse was doing. Except Lucien. A faint smile tugged at his lips. He knew Shadow better than anyone. Whenever the stallion wanted affection, he would simply lower his head and wait patiently. Lucien loosened his grip on Elara's hand. Only then did Elara realize he had been holding it all along. A strange feeling crept inside her realising she didn't felt any discomfort because of Lucien's hold, before her attention shifted back to Shadow. Lucien gently lifted his hand and stroked Shadow's silky mane. The mighty horse leaned into the touch with obvious contentment. The sight softened Elara's heart. Even Lyra, who h

Elara's ears perked up a bit as Lucien's voice tore through the air. "Lyra!" Her heart skipped a beat when she heard her name, "Elara!" It was Lucien's voice But more deeper It wasn't the calm, commanding voice she had grown accustomed to. It was raw. Desperate. A deep, fear-stricken roar that sent chills racing down her spine. Confused, she looked up in front, towards Lyra. The young omega was still walking backward, completely unaware of the danger charging towards them. Elara's eyes widened in horror. A massive black stallion thundered across the field, its wild eyes blazing with fury as it barreled straight toward both of them. There wasn't a second to think. Her body moved before her mind could. "Lyra, move!" She sprinted forward and shoved Lyra with all her strength. Lyra cried out as she crashed onto the rough ground, scraping her palms against the dirt. Looking up, she froze. Shadow stood only a few feet away from Elara. His powerful body trembled with rage a

  • The Human Bound to The Alpha Prince    Shadow' Fury

Lucien frowned as the guard delivered the report, though he gave a curt nod and immediately strode toward the training grounds. His personal guards followed closely behind, their armor clinking with every step. The moment he entered the courtyard, his sharp green eyes widened at the sight before him. Theo stood in the center of the training grounds, his bandaged palm wrapped tightly around the reins of Shadow, Lucien's beloved stallion. The usually calm horse was wildly restless, rearing on his hind legs and tossing his head violently as if trying to break free. Lucien's gaze shifted to Theo's injured hand. His brows knitted together. What happened to Theo overnight? Pushing the thought aside for the moment, he approached them with hurried steps. "What happened to Shadow?" Lucien demanded. "Why is he so restless?" Hearing his Alpha Prince's voice, Theo immediately released his grip from Shadow's neck, keeping hold of the reins instead. Despite the chaos, he bowed respectfully. "

  • The Human Bound to The Alpha Prince    A Promise Of Protection

"Guards!" Lucien's commanding voice echoed through the palace corridor. "Search every corner of the palace. The intruder couldn't have gone far. Find whoever dared to spy on us." "Yes, Alpha Prince!" The guards immediately bowed before rushing down the hallway, their armored footsteps fading into the distance as they scattered throughout the palace in search of the mysterious figure who had been secretly watching the Alpha Prince and his mate. A heavy silence settled once they were gone. "Lucien..." Elara called softly, unable to hide the fear lingering in her voice. "Who could possibly be spying on us?" Her gaze unconsciously drifted toward the blood-stained blade still resting in his hand. The crimson coating its edge sent a shiver through her body. Noticing where she was looking, Lucien quietly lowered the knife until it rested by his side, gently pulling her attention away from the weapon and back to him. "I don't know," he admitted, his expression darkening. "But I hope th

A sudden chill crawled down Elara's spine. Goosebumps erupted across her skin as an uneasy feeling settled deep within her chest. It was as if invisible eyes were fixed on her, silently observing every move she made. Her head snapped around, scanning the almost empty hallway. Someone was watching them. The unsettling sensation refused to leave. Beside her, Lucien immediately noticed the shift in her expression. His body instinctively tensed as he stepped closer. "Elara," he called softly, his emerald eyes narrowing with concern. "What happened?" She hesitated before answering, still searching the shadows. "I... I felt someone's gaze on us." She forced out a nervous laugh, attempting to brush it aside. "Maybe I'm just imagining things." Lucien wasn't convinced. He knew his mate well enough to recognize when she was genuinely disturbed. Without another word, he took another step toward her. Instinctively, Elara stepped back. His brows furrowed. "You're certain someone was w
