MasukAs soon as we step into our dorm, Sandro heads straight for the kitchen while I make my way to my bedroom to shower.
After rinsing off and feeling somewhat human again, I walk out of my room in nothing but my boxers.
Sandro’s already settled on the couch, a bottle of beer sitting on the coffee table next to a bag of snacks.
“Let’s have a few drinks before the auction starts,” he says, taking a long swig from his can.
I sit down across from him and study his face. “You’re nervous.”
It’s not a question, it’s obvious. He shakes his head immediately.
“Why would I be? I’ve been here long enough to know this is just how things are.” He avoids making eye contact with me as he speaks.
To be honest, Sandro is a good-looking guy. His tan skin brings out his features, and when I first met him, I actually thought he was gay because of how delicate he looks. He doesn’t have the bulky build most guys here do. His body’s lean and well-defined, and his face is almost too pretty for a man.
“Then why are your hands shaking like that?” I ask, fixing him with a cold stare.
Sandro glances down at his hands as if just noticing they’re trembling. “They’re not… I was just… just—”
“Scared,” I finish for him.
“No!” he hisses defensively.
I just shrug and take a long drink from my own beer, watching him in silence.
“Stop staring at me, asshole!” he snaps, clearly upset.
“Why don’t you just admit you’re terrified?” I press him.
He glares at me but says nothing in response.
A heavy silence falls between us, stretching on for minutes, until three sharp knocks at the door shatter it completely.
I start to stand up, then pause when I see how badly Sandro’s shaking now, his face drained of color. I shake my head in frustration before heading to the door and pulling it open.
I lean against the doorframe and look at the two figures standing outside our dorm.
“What do you want?” I ask flatly.
“We’re here to deliver this to your roommate. He’s been chosen to attend tonight’s auction,” one of them says in a low, muffled voice.
I don’t say anything, just turn to look at Sandro. He’s staring at me, his eyes wide with fear and pleading. I want to help him, but I know there’s nothing I can do. I step aside and open the door wider to let them in.
They walk over to where Sandro sits and place the box on the table in front of him.
“These are the clothes you’ll wear tonight. Don’t try to disobey if you don’t want to face the headmaster’s punishment,” they warn before turning and walking out without another word.
Minutes pass before Sandro finally reaches out and lifts the lid of the box with shaking hands.
Inside, neatly folded, are the garments he’s supposed to wear. Along with the accessories that make my jaw tighten. A dog’s tail, a matching headband with ears, and a leather choker.
"If I get chosen... you won't see me again."
It's the first thing he says, and tears immediately start streaming down his face.
"I just wanted to tell you that somehow... I came to think of you as my friend. Thank you for teaching me how to fight back, how to stand up for myself, because no one else here in this hellhole would've done that for me."
Every word he says cuts deeper than it should. I shouldn't care. I should be numb to this. I shouldn't let his words get to me. But right now, looking at him, my chest feels tight and twisted.
"Klein, if we ever meet again... please let me be your first real friend, okay?" He looks up at me then, and despite the tears on his face, he's smiling wide.
His smile is bright, but his eyes tell a completely different story, full of sadness and fear.
"What the hell are you talking about? It's just an auction. No one in their right mind would pick an ugly Omega like you." I snap at him, looking away quickly before his tears can pull me in further.
"Fuck you, bastard!" He laughs through his sobs, and even though I didn't plan to, I find myself laughing too.
"Cheers?" He holds up his beer can toward me.
I meet his eyes, and all I see is the weight of everything he's carrying, sadness, fear, and a strange kind of acceptance.
"Cheers," I say, clinking my can against his.
Silence settles between us after that. I don't try to break it, I wouldn't know what to say to comfort him anyway. I've always known this day would come.
Hours pass, and then a loud warning bell echoes through the university, shaking every wall in the building.
I watch Sandro's shoulders tense up the moment he hears it.
"Time to go," he says quietly.
He stands up and picks up the box holding the clothes he has to wear tonight.
"You don't have to go," I say, making him pause mid-step. I don't look up at him as I continue. "You could hurt yourself, make new bruises so they can't take you. Or... maybe I could beat you up bad enough that you won't be able to go."
"Are you being serious right now?" he asks, shocked.
I finally look up at him, raising an eyebrow. "It's the only way to keep you from being sold off," I tell him. "Unless you want to be bought like some kind of merchandise." My voice comes out sharper than I intend.
"Actually... I've been thinking about this for a long time, Klein," he says, his voice and expression dead serious. "I can't stay trapped here forever."
"What are you saying?. You'll just let them sell you to some high bidder and then kneel and obey them? You've already been through enough, Sandro. What's the point of getting sold when you'll just end up in another hell with them?" My voice rises as frustration builds inside me.
"That's exactly it. Nothing will change either way," he says calmly. "If I stay here, life will still be hell. If I get sold... at least I won't be stuck staring at the same four walls of this university hell forever. I'm tired, Klein..."
Those words hit me like a physical blow.
"I'm tired of fighting every single day in this place. I want to be free, but I know there's no other way out. No other choices left for me. I've seen how fucked up life is here, maybe it's time I see what kind of hell waits outside. And who knows... maybe out there, my suffering will finally end. Because honestly? I'd rather die from beatings and punishments than from the loneliness and pain I feel every single day here."
"Shut up," I whisper, but I know he hears me.
"Inside or outside this place... let's both face whatever cruelty comes our way. Then maybe we can die with a smile and finally be free."
"I SAID SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" I roar, jumping to my feet and facing him head-on. "Stop spouting all that nonsense, Sandro!" I snarl at him.
Sandro just gives me a sad smile before walking over and placing a hand on my shoulder.
"See you in hell, Klein." With those final words, he moves past me, walks out of our dorm, and gently closes the door behind him.
My knees give out beneath me. I collapse back into my chair, my breathing ragged and uneven.
"No... don't you dare cry! You're not supposed to care about him!" I tell myself, trying to steady my breathing, but hot tears start streaming down my face anyway.
This isn't like me. I shouldn't be hurting like this. He's just a roommate... nothing more. No reason to care, no reason to cry—
"FUCK YOU, BASTARD!!" I scream, shooting to my feet and racing out of the dorm.
"Ahh... ahhh... slow down..." my helpless moans echoed softly, trembling in the tight space as Lysander’s massive length steadily drove in and out of my hole. Every single thrust was deep, unrelenting, and overwhelming, burning through my senses until I could barely think straight."F-fuck... slow down, will you?!" I almost screamed at him, but the panic hit me instantly. I slammed both of my hands over my mouth, suddenly remembering that we weren't alone in this building—there were still ordinary people walking around just outside our cubicle.I’m terrified they might hear us. Fuck!.How in the hell did I end up trapped in a fucked-up situation like this?!Just a little while ago, I was simply trying on the clothes they picked out for me in the fitting room. And now? Now I was completely trapped between these twin Alphas, getting fucked like there was no tomorrow.I knew what I was supposed to do. I should be pushing them away with all the strength I had left. I should be scream
"Klein, are you okay?" Gerald asked softly from beside me.I was sitting in silence inside a high-end clothing boutique while the twin Alphas and their two Betas browsed through rack after rack of designer outfits. Gerald took a seat right next to me, and I could feel his eyes burning into the side of my face, studying my expression."I’m really not in the mood to talk, Gerald," I warned him through clenched teeth, keeping my eyes fixed straight ahead. "If you don't want me to take out my frustration on you because of those bitches, you’d better move away from me."To distract myself, I pretended to be deeply invested in looking over the displays around us."I'm staying right here beside you," Gerald insisted stubbornly.I whipped my head around to glare at him in annoyance, but he merely offered me a sweet, unflappable smile."I'm already used to your attitude anyway, Klein, so it doesn't bother me as much anymore," he continued smoothly. "Just please... don't release your pheromones
"Darling, are you alright?".I snapped back to my senses when I heard Lysander’s voice calling out to me. I looked up at him, then over at Lucien – both of them were staring at me with intense, unblinking eyes that made me feel uneasy. I quickly looked away from them, not wanting to meet their gaze, and didn’t bother answering Lysander’s question. My mind was still racing with Keno’s plan, trying to figure out how to make it work."Will it work?" I asked Keno quietly inside my mind, my thoughts focused solely on the idea of pretending to change just to earn their trust.> "I don't know. The twins are too sharp and perceptive," Keno replied honestly, his voice serious and thoughtful. "But let's try – we don’t have any other options right now. Wait, much better if you act naturally, Klein." He added, and I furrowed my brow slightly as I looked down at my plate."What do you mean?". I asked him, still confused about how to approach this new plan.> "Just act like you usually do in front
—Klein's POV"Will you fucking stop following me?!" I snapped at Gerald, my patience completely worn thin. I quickened my pace, walking faster in the hope that he’d finally get the message and stop trailing after me. But he kept up easily, matching my steps with his own. Frustrated beyond measure, I came to a sudden stop and turned to face him directly – my hands on my hips as I glared at him."What do you fucking want?" I asked, my voice sharp and full of irritation. Gerald immediately bowed his head slightly, looking almost apologetic as he avoided my eyes."Sorry. I just wanted to follow you—"."Why? Are you my shadow? Are you my bodyguard or something, huh?!" I snapped again, my anger rising with every word. It was still early in the morning, but my head was already throbbing with frustration because of him. He’d been following me for hours – ever since I’d left the twins’ room to eat breakfast, all the way out here to the garden. He was everywhere I went, like an annoying fly
"Y-You..." Klein said, his voice trembling with fury as he stared down at the tattoo etched permanently into his chest. The black lines of the wolf’s head seemed to mock him, a constant reminder of everything he’d lost – his freedom, his autonomy, his right to make choices about his own body."Wait," Klein immediately lifted his head to look at the twins, his eyes wide with sudden realization as a new thought crossed his mind. "Where is Gerald? What did you do to him, huh?!". He demanded, his voice rising in volume and intensity as he looked from Lysander to Lucien and back again. The memory was still clear in his mind – Gerald’s terrified face, his body trembling as the Beta held him tightly, tears streaming down his cheeks as he’d stared at the syringe in horror. The sight had sent a sharp pang of pain through Klein’s heart, even though he’d told himself countless times that he didn’t care about Gerald after what he’d said. But seeing him so vulnerable had reminded him of Sandro,
——Third Person POVLucien gently lifted the unconscious Klein, carefully laying him down on an empty hospital bed – right next to where Gerald was already lying motionless on the adjacent bed. After setting him down, Lucien stood up straight and stepped back slightly from the bed, his eyes fixed on Klein’s pale face as the young Omega lay still against the pillows. "Start now," he commanded, his voice firm and clear – leaving no room for argument. At his words, the two scientists immediately moved forward, their movements practiced and efficient as they prepared to begin their work. The room fell silent as everyone watched intently as the scientists carefully made a small incision in Klein and Gerald’s left chests, just above their hearts. Blood immediately welled up from the cuts, trickling down their pale skin before being quickly wiped away by the scientists’ gloved hands. The procedure was precise, each movement calculated to avoid causing unnecessary damage to their bodies."W
Klein's POVThe only sounds I can hear right now are the crack of whips and screams echoing off the stone walls. I watched them, trembling, begging, crying as the heartless guards punish them here in the dungeon.I shake my head in disgust. “Pathetic. What good does crying and pleading do when they
Third Person POV Slowly, Klein pried his eyes open, roused by the sound of voices and movement echoing around the room."F-fuck..." he muttered, the taste of iron still lingering in his mouth. He tried to sit up, but pain shot through his body, forcing him to grit his teeth. As the memories of wha
I practically fly up each step of the stairs, desperate to catch up to him before it's too late. When I burst out of the building, I see dozens of students gathered together, each clutching the same dark red box he'd been given.I can see the mix of sorrow, anxiety, and terror in their eyes. They h
Morning comes too soon, and I’m still lying in bed. I didn’t sleep at all last night my mind was too full of thoughts to rest. Now I have no energy to get up and attend the worthless classes this university forces on us.When you really think about it, what good are their lessons? What’s the point
