The mate bond

My name is Cathy and I am an omega as the wolves call it, wolves that are tagged omega's are usually traitors, criminals and wolves with very low social standings. I was born into wealth but that didn't last long in my life,my father was an army general, yeah 'was' he died in battle... I think his death was planned by his fellow generals. After my father died the other army general did everything they could to take all my fathers wealth and left us with nothing...we hard to struggle to get by everyday afraid of being shamed and bullied. My life isn't something interesting I have been living as an omega for as long as I can remember, my life has been really hard it isn't filled with princess and pony's but with nightmares and bullying, I have been living like this for thirteen years now.

Every shifter gets to be able to turn at the age of fourteen...when we children of shifter are about to turn fourteen we are being transferred from our usual schools to the national college for shifter. I will be turning fourteen in a few months so I am being transferred to the college not that I am happy about it, I get bullied every day and I think today might be one of those days. It's my first day at the national college... I went into the gates of the school and I froze on spot, the school was so beautiful the exterior was painted blue with touch of white in most areas, a few of the buildings were made of glass so I assumed that would be the administrative building... I saw students running in their wolf form... some were shifting back to human. The sight was amazing to say the least... I kept on walking towards the glass buildings to meet with the admin and to get my uniform and other things I'll need... the college is a boarding school. No student is allowed out of the gates until you have been giving a pass card...the pass cards are only given to the seniors who can control their shifting at all times.

I got to the administration block and the officer there wore a blue and white uniform to march the colors of the school "please where can I get my supplies" I asked him "come with me dear" he said politely then he started walking into the building and I followed behind "what kind of shifter are you?" He asked me "I am a werewolf sir" I replied shyly "which werewolf pack?" he asked "the blue crescent pack"... "where in the hierarchy are you?" I dropped my head with shame then said "I'm an omega" he stopped to look at me then asked "what's your name?" "I am Cathy Stephen" I answer, he look at me with surprise in his eyes then said "you mean you are the daughter of Wadnod Stephen?"... "yes" I answered but it came out more like a whisper "your father was a wealthy general what happened?" He asked, I looked up at him then lowered my head again and said "yes he was but after he died the other generals took everything he had and left us with nothing so we were forced to live as omega's" he used his right hand to touch my chin then he raised my head up so that I was looking at him "don't be ashamed of who you are my dear... you can be an omega now but who know what you will be in the future... you might turn out to be the Luna of a pack, so don't let your current situation define you" he said with a smile I nodded then he turned around and we started heading toward some stairs.
