Hailey’s POV

He didn’t pull away. Instead, to my surprise, he pressed even harder into mine. He gently bit my lower lip, making me moan softly.

His hands moved down my back. His lips grazed my ear. Goosebumps peppered my entire body as he whispered, “How about we go back to my place?”

All I could do was nod. Then I froze, suddenly remembering. “Wait! What about Jessica?”

“Who?”

“Good answer,” I said.

We couldn’t keep our lips off each other as we made our way from his car to his dorm. It occurred to me that this was not where I remembered the freshman dorms were, but that thought was fleeting.

I kissed his neck as he fumbled with his keys. I reached my hand around, teasing him by rubbing near his groin. He responded with what sounded like a low growl and I let out a giggle. He finally got the door open and he pulled me inside.

Before he even closed the door all the way we began tearing each other’s clothes off. He paused when I was down to my lacy black bra and matching panties.

“My god,” he said softly. “You are beautiful.”

I felt my face turn hot. Then I smiled and pulled off his undershirt. I let out a soft gasp. I knew Derek worked out a lot for football, but I wasn’t expecting the rock hard abs and chest. I gently reached out and touched his chest.

Damn he’s sexy, I thought, biting my lip.

“Come on,” he said softly, grabbing my hand and leading me back to his bedroom. My heart pounded in my chest. How long had I dreamt of this exact moment?

He pulled me into his arms and began kissing me again, walking me backwards until we both fell onto the bed. I rolled over on top of him and sat up. My fingers trembled as I unhooked my bra and slid it off. I felt his bulge pulse under me, and I could feel myself growing even wetter.

“Damn,” he whispered, his hands gently cupping my breasts. I leaned forward and kissed his neck, causing him to let out a soft moan. I reached down to pull off his boxers and then wrapped my hand around him, stroking him while I moved my lips to his.

In one sudden movement, he threw me onto my back ad tore my panties off. He climbed on top of me and pressed his hips against mine. The anticipation of what was about to happen sent a shiver all over my body.

When he entered me, I let out a soft moan.

His hard chest pressed against mine as he thrust hard into me, over and over.

This was my dream came true. At least that was what I believed.

“Don’t stop,” I whispered.

After hearing what I said, he thrusted harder and faster until I felt him pulsing inside of me.

He pushed one last time into me and held it there.

I squeezed myself tight around his still bulging cock, my legs trembling as I felt myself getting closer and closer to climaxing.

He pulled out slightly and thrust back into me one last time, finally sending me over the edge.

We came together.

I held him tight, letting the overwhelming waves of ecstasy wash over me until they slowly faded away.

He laughed as he rolled off of me, then he pulled me close to him.

“We are not finished here,” he said.

“What-” He wanted a round two?

“YOU told me not to stop,” he said, already climbing back on top of me. “Too late to regret it now.”

---

The next afternoon, the sound of a motorcycle revving its engine jerked me awake.

I sat up suddenly, my head pounding. I groaned as I grabbed it.

I looked over at Derek, who had his back to me and was still asleep. I smiled. Totally worth the hangover I had to deal with.

I wrapped an arm around him and kissed his shoulder.

“Mm,” he moaned softly. “Hey, beautiful.”

“Hey there…” I started as he turned towards me. I gasped.

The man next to me looked a lot like Derek, but it was not Derek. I pulled the sheet up over my still bare chest.

Oh god. Oh no…

“Last night was amazing,” not-Derek said, sitting up. He wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

Oh, no, he wants another round.

“I’m so sorry,” I moved his arm off of me and scooted away. “I’ve made a mistake…”

He squinted his eyes. “A mistake, huh?”

“No, nothing against you. I just…mistook you for someone else…” I tried to explain as I looked around for my clothes.

I saw my bra and panties, but that was it. I grabbed them and tried to slither into them without letting the blanket expose me.

“Someone else? Who?” He laid back, his arms crossed behind his head. He stared at me with a smirk.

I bit my lip, hesitating. Should I try and explain? I mean, did he really need to know I mistook him for Derek?

“It’s a long story. I probably should go. Again, so sorry.”

I hurried into the living room. There I spotted my dress, shoes, and purse scattered all over the floor.

“Jesus, Hailey,” I muttered to myself. I pulled my dress over my head, grabbed my shoes and purse and quietly slipped out the front door.

I hurried down the hall and around the corner, where I found the stairwell. Once I was through the door and down a flight of stairs, I let myself rest against the wall to take a second.

I slid into my shoes and thanked God I got out of there as fast as I did. I wanted to put last night far, far behind me.

The sunlight hit me hard as I stepped out of the dorm building. I groaned, digging around in my purse for my sunglasses, but no luck. I covered my eyes with my free hand, leaving just enough space between my fingers to see the sidewalk.

I did the walk of shame the few blocks from the dorms to the bar parking lot, where I had left my car.

Thankfully it was the weekend and not many people were around to see me. I wanted to get away from this campus and hide in my old bedroom at mom’s for the entire weekend.

Just as I reached my car, I heard my phone ding loudly in my purse. I jumped, the loud bell-like notification piercing my ears.

“Shh,” I said as I pulled it out of my purse. I narrowed my eyes at the phone, squinting against the bright screen.

Derek!

“Hey, I just wanted to make sure you made it home okay. I was worried about you last night,” he had messaged.

My heart skipped a beat in my chest.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” I typed. “Thanks for checking on me.”

“I’m going home for the weekend, but feel free to reach out if you need me,” he responded.

I sighed. If he was going home, that probably meant Jessica would be joining him.

I started to put my phone in my purse when it began ringing with a phone call. I groaned again.

“Why are you so loud!” I snapped as I pushed accept.

“Hey Mom,” I said when it connected.

“Honey, I have the best news,” she said without greeting me. I inwardly laughed. Mom was not one for small talk. “Are you sitting down?”

“No, but I think I can manage,” I said, fumbling through my purse for my car keys.

“Okay,” she said, then gave a long dramatic pause. “I have been seeing someone.”

I dropped my keys on the ground, stunned by the sudden announcement. I didn’t know my mom had been dating. “Oh, mom, that’s great!”

“We’ve been talking about getting married, and…”

“Wait, what? Married?”

Mom kept going, ignoring me. “...we think you should meet him. I’m going to his place this weekend, maybe you could join us?”

“I, uh…” my head was spinning. I didn’t even know mom was dating, and she’s already thinking about marrying this man? I wasn’t sure I was ready for all this.

Although, I figured I should probably meet the man if he was going to be my stepdad.

“Okay, yeah, sure,” I said.

“Oh wonderful! Meet me at the house, and we can pack a few things together,” Mom said. “Then we will drive to Huntsville, where he lives.”

Huntsville. Where had I heard that town name before?
