LOGINARIA’S POV
“Hello, Aria, what’s up?” “I can’t reach him.” I paced back and forth across the living room, dragging my fingers through my hair for what felt like the hundredth time. “Zara, it’s almost midnight and he’s not picking my calls.” The silence of the penthouse pressed in on me, heavy and suffocating. Every ticking second made my chest tighter. I knew getting involved with another Weston was a mistake. What I didn’t know was that Xavier would turn out to be another version of his brother. It all felt too familiar. Way too close to the life I had just escaped. It’s like I married Dean all over again. Xavier doesn’t care about me. He doesn’t even share a room with me. I figured the only reason I'm here is to give him children so he can inherit his father’s wealth. Thinking about it made something inside me twist painfully. If I hadn’t told my best friend everything, if I had kept it all bottled up like the contract demanded… I was certain I would have lost my mind by now. But what Xavier doesn't know wouldn’t hurt him. “Aria, calm down,” Zara said gently. “Maybe he’s just working late.” “It’s midnight, Zara,” I snapped, stopping in my tracks. “He’s a workaholic, yes, but he never stays out this late without saying anything to me.” She chuckled softly. “Now you sound like his wife.” “I am his wife,” I blurted. The words slipped out before I could stop them. My heart skipped. There was a long pause on the other end. “Aria, did you just…” “No. No, that’s not what I meant,” I rushed out, shaking my head even though she couldn’t see me. Before she could press further, the sound of a car pulling into the garage cut through the silence. My breath caught. “Zara, I’ll call you later.” I hung up immediately and rushed toward the door. The moment it opened, the faint smell of alcohol hit me. My brows furrowed. Has he been drinking? Xavier stepped out of the car, his expression unreadable, his movements steady but kind of shaky. He didn’t even look at me. He just walked past me like I wasn’t standing there. That hurt more than him coming home late without a call. Still, I followed him inside. “Xavier,” I called, trying to keep my voice steady. “I’ve been calling you for hours. Where have you been?” He shrugged off his jacket and tossed it onto the couch carelessly before turning to me. He knows I hate it when he leaves his things lying around the house. “What have I told you about your phone, Aria?” I glanced at the jacket behind him, irritation flickering through me despite everything. “Please pick that up.” He frowned slightly but walked back and grabbed it. At least he listened. “Now answer me,” he said, his tone sharper. “Where was your phone when I was calling you?” “I was doing laundry when you called,” I replied quietly. “I’m sorry.” “Laundry?” His brows drew together. “Aria, we have maids for that.” “I know. But I can’t just sit around doing nothing all day.” He stared at me for a moment, something unreadable passing through his eyes, then turned and walked down the hallway. I followed closely behind him. “Xavier, you haven’t answered my question. Where were you?” “If you hadn’t hung up on me earlier,” he said without looking back, “you would’ve known I was at my father’s house for dinner.” I blinked. What the hell is wrong with him tonight? He's an asshole and a control freak, yes. But he never talks to me like this. “Can I have your assistant’s number?” I asked suddenly. He stopped so abruptly I almost walked into him. “Can you repeat that?” he said slowly. I exhaled loudly. “I was worried, Xavier. I just want to be able to reach someone else if I can’t get to you.” He turned fully this time, crossing his arms. “And the first person you thought of is my assistant?” “Xavier, he's the only one that knows we're married. I can't just…” “If he gets your number,” he cut in coldly, “he’s fired. And if you go to him to ask for it, he’s fired.” I stared at him in disbelief. “What is wrong with you?” He didn’t answer. He just walked into his room without saying a word. I followed him anyway, my frustration bubbling over. “Did I do something?” He turned slowly, his gaze locked onto mine. “Isabella is pregnant.” The words hit me, but they didn’t land the way he expected. My frown came instantly. “I don’t give a fuck about what’s going on in that bitch’s life.” “It’s Dean’s child,” he added. For a moment, all we did was stare at each other. Then I burst out laughing. I couldn’t help it. The sound came out sharp, almost hysterical. I must have done something right in my past life. Because how could life turn around this fast? “You think this is funny?” Xavier asked, his voice tightening. “Do you know what this means if she has that child?” I pressed a hand against my chest, trying to steady myself. “Xavier…” I shook my head, still breathless from laughing. “That’s not possible.” His expression hardened. “What do you mean it’s not possible? He brought Isabella to the family house and announced it in front of everyone.” I quickly grabbed my phone from my back pocket and scrolled through it, pulling up the report. The same report that had shattered me… and then set me free. I walked up to him and handed it over. “Read it.” His eyes moved across the screen, and I watched the exact moment it registered. The shift in his body. The realization in his eyes. “Does this mean…” he started, his voice lower now, “he can’t have children?” I held his gaze, my expression steady. “That man can’t have a child even if he had a vagina.” His eyes widened. “So he lied to our father? Aria, are you sure about this?” I didn’t hesitate. “Dean is not the father of that child.” A bitter smile tugged at my lips. “Isabella cheated on him.”XAVIER'S POV She held the edge of my towel, her fingers curling around the fabric.“Aria.” I grabbed her hands gently. “You don't have to…”The towel dropped to the floor before I could finish. She stared down at my hard length, her eyes wide. Then slowly, she wrapped her hand around me, stroking slowly from base to tip.“Fuck, Aria.” My head fell back. She dipped her head and took me into her mouth. Her lips closed around the tip, sucking gently as her tongue traced the underside of my shaft. “Just like that, baby.” I breathed, running my hand through her hair. “You're taking me so well.”Her eyes stayed locked on mine, hands rubbed slowly down to my balls. She looked so good on her knees. My wife. My beautiful, fierce wife, with her mouth full of my cock.I threaded my fingers through her hair and guided her slowly. Then I picked up my pace and fucked her mouth, watching her take me deeper with each thrust. She moaned and tightened her grip on my thighs.“You like that, baby?” My
XAVIER'S POVIt had been a while since Reed left, but Aria hadn't said a word since she saw that news about Dean. The plan was to go check on her after taking a shower, but I stepped out of the bathroom and froze. She was sitting on my bed.Her eyes were locked on me, those blue eyes that had a way of seeing through every wall I built. She was wearing one of my shirts, too big it slipped off her shoulder, and her bare feet dangled over the edge of the bed.I walked to the closet, grabbed a pair of slippers, and placed them beneath her feet.“It's cold, Aria.” I knelt in front of her. “You shouldn't walk around barefoot.”“Will he go to prison?” She blurted out so suddenly it took me a second to catch on to what she meant. So that's what this was about.“That's your first question?” I stood and crossed my arms. “You're not going to ask why I did it?”“Answer the question, Xavier.” Her voice was steady. “Will Dean go to prison?”“Yes.” My jaw tightened. “And I plan on keeping him there
ARIA'S POVSleep had to be the one thing I could do for hours without getting tired of. It was only after a maid woke me up for lunch that I found out I'd slept for ten hours straight. Ten hours. I couldn't remember the last time my body had felt that peaceful, that completely disconnected from the chaos of the world.“Ugh!” The bed smelled like Xavier. I buried my face in his pillow for a moment before finally dragging myself upright.Out of boredom, I played games on my phone, watched two movies I'd already seen, and did laundry I wasn't allowed to do.Now I was sitting across from the maids in the kitchen with a bag of chips, chatting away while they made dinner. Xavier had chosen to leave the house for work without informing me. I'd woken up to an empty bed and a cold pillow, so I figured I might as well make myself useful.Or at least entertained.“So you're Betty, Sophia, Daniella, Celine, and Ashley.” I pointed at each of them in turn. “Correct?”They all nodded, excitement glo
XAVIER'S POV The door to my office flew open without warning.“Reed, are you out of your damn mind?” I snapped, rising from my chair.“I'm sorry, sir, but you need to see this.”He crossed the room in long strides and held a tablet inches from my face. The look in his eyes was enough to extinguish the rest of my anger.Something was wrong.Reed adjusted his glasses as he leaned closer to me. “A reporter from Vanguard has been working with Dean the whole time. Way before Mrs Weston got arrested.”I looked up from the tablet. “What?”“Bradley Peterson,” Reed said, handing me his tablet. “Veteran reporter at Vanguard Media and one of their most recognizable faces. He's been with the company for nearly a decade.”I raised a brow. “And?”“The problem is, this isn't the first time the reporter crossed the line. He publicly harassed Mrs. Weston when she was brought to the precinct.”I gasped. “Are you kidding me right now?”He scrolled through and played the recording. My fist clenched ben
IAN'S POVI brought out a cigarette from its pack and lit it up, dragging the smoke deep into my lungs. The boy across from me hadn't moved. He stood with his hands clasped in front of him, eyes downcast, breathing shallow. Waiting patiently for my order.I exhaled a slow stream of smoke and looked up at him.“Come here.”He dropped to his knees and crawled towards me. His palms pressed against the cold marble, head bowed to the floor, his whole body trembling. He stopped at my feet and placed his hands on his thighs.I reached down, grabbed a fistful of his hair, and yanked his head back. His eyes met mine: wide, frightened, hungry. I blew the smoke directly into his face, but he didn't flinch, just breathed it in like it was the only air he needed. My favourite type of toys? I love them submissive, needy, eager to please, hopelessly devoted, and just a little bit obsessed. And this one was getting my attention.I wrapped my hand around his neck and crashed my lips onto his.He open
XAVIER'S POVIan leaned forward and spat out his vodka. “She wants to come to Italy? Why?”“To see her lovely husband, of course.”“Xavier.” He glared at me. “That's what she wants, Ian.” I swirled the whiskey in my glass. “She thinks Italy is romantic and Milan is a fun place to be.” I smirked. “What a coincidence, right?”“Talk her out of it.” His voice was firm. “There are many other countries that are perfect for honeymoon. I'm not ready to…”“I can't.” I dragged my hand through my hair. “I can't say no to her.”“Xavier, you're not getting it.”“No, Ian.” I set my glass down. “You're not getting it. We just settled an argument that lasted six hours. Six hours. All because I tried to talk her out of working at Weston Holdings.” I looked at him through the screen. “I'm sorry, but I can't talk her out of this one.”He opened his mouth to argue.“Listen,” I cut him off. “It's been over a month since we got married. Three years since you last saw her.” I held his gaze. “Don't you mi

ARIA’S POV Right now, I should be thanking God.Honestly, I should be on my knees with my hands lifted toward the heavens in gratitude. For the first time in my twenty-five years of existence, it felt like someone else was finally fighting my battles for me.Dean Weston was suffering. And a cruel

XAVIER’S POV“Pick up.
