LOGINPedro, a nurse at a private clinic, was the one who’d introduced Samantha to Douglas, her ex. Douglas, a doctor at the same place, became her ex the day she learned (through Pedro) that he’d cheated with another nurse on staff.
Right then, all Samantha wanted was to go home. She loved Pedro, but something about the party was grinding her gears. The music was blasting, drunk people kept bumping into her, and it was all getting under her skin. It was Pedro’s birthday bash at his boyfriend’s house, but the real kicker was Douglas showing up with his new girlfriend (yep, the nurse).
When she found out about the cheating, Douglas gave this whole speech to justify dumping her. He said Samantha was gorgeous, sure, but too “basic” for a doctor like him. She was a homebody; he liked to party. She played by the rules, kept her impulses in check, and according to him, that quiet vibe just didn’t match his energy. He even said she didn’t seem to have a drop of Latin blood in her, words that cut deep.
Samantha was proud of her Latin roots. She didn’t need to fit some stereotype to prove who she was. She was real, no matter what ran through her veins. Her thoughts snapped when Pedro appeared.
“Sorry, Sam. I had no idea he’d be invited. I even told Ivan not to bring him. I’m really sorry,” he said, planting a quick kiss on her cheek.
“It’s okay, Pedro. You don’t have to ditch your friends for me. We share a lot of the same people; this stuff happens,” Samantha said, keeping her voice steady.
“In my opinion, you should get back out there. I don’t know many straight guys, or I’d hook you up, girl. And I definitely don’t want to shove another Douglas your way. You deserve a real man, someone who’ll actually make you happy,” Pedro said, dead serious.
Samantha knew he meant every word. She dreamed of saying she’d loved and been loved for real.
“I promise when we cut the cake, my wish will be for you to find the love of your life. And may he be a total stud, hung like a horse!” Pedro cracked, making them both laugh at his clowning.
For Samantha, if someone truly loved her, that would be enough. But her smile vanished when she saw Douglas kissing the woman beside him. He even shot her a smug glance right after.
“I don’t think I can stay,” she muttered. “I’m grabbing my jacket and heading out. Sorry, I won’t be here for the happy birthday song. We can do a little celebration just us later.”
“Deal, but I’m holding you to that party,” Pedro said with a grin before heading off to grab her jacket.
Samantha waited a bit, but Douglas’s smug glances were getting under her skin. She decided to go find Pedro herself. Every time she moved, Douglas tracked her, then slipped in behind her like he wasn’t tailing her.
As she neared the kitchen, raised voices hit her ears—one of them Pedro’s. She picked up the pace. When she stepped in, Ivan and Pedro were going at it. She didn’t catch every word, but jealousy was the clear trigger.
Ivan shoved Pedro hard; Pedro slammed into the counter. Something snapped inside Samantha—she didn’t even know she had it in her. She charged forward, planted both hands on Ivan’s chest, and shoved him back.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” she barked. “You don’t get to put your hands on him! You’re not his dad, Ivan—you’re just the boyfriend!”
Samantha almost never stood up for herself, but when it came to someone she loved, she flipped a switch. She wasn’t the cursing type, but right then every ounce of pent-up stress came pouring out.
“Don’t get involved, Samantha. This is between me and Pedro,” Ivan snapped, locking eyes with her after the shove.
“Not get involved? You think I’m just gonna stand here while you hit and mistreat him?” she fired back, holding her ground.
Ivan took a step toward her, but that’s when Douglas walked into the kitchen. He slid between them and squared up to Ivan.
“What’s your deal, man? Chill out. You gonna take on a woman now?” Douglas said, getting in Ivan’s face.
Samantha’s brow furrowed. She stared at Douglas, wary. First, she had no clue why he was even there; second, he’d never stuck up for her like this before. She turned to Pedro, who was clutching her jacket. She took it from him and met his eyes.
“You don’t have to put up with this, Pedro. This isn’t love—don’t forget that,” she said firmly, shooting Ivan one last hard look. His face stayed stone-cold.
As she started to leave the kitchen, Pedro grabbed her arm to stop her.
“Wait, Sam. It’s too late for you to grab a cab alone. Take my car. I’ll pick it up tomorrow,” Pedro said, pressing the keys into her hand.
“You sure?” she asked, glancing back at Ivan, worried about her friend’s safety.
“Positive. Don’t worry. I’ll talk to you tomorrow,” Pedro replied, kissing her cheek.
Samantha turned and left the kitchen, heading through the living room to get out of the house. She was always worried about Pedro, especially knowing how toxic that relationship could be. As she walked, Douglas caught up, grabbing her arm to stop her.
Marcos left Alice’s apartment. When he reached the elevator, he placed a hand on his chest, still feeling his heart racing.“What the hell was that?” he muttered to himself. When they had been so close, bodies pressed together and faces just inches apart, his heart had pounded and even his dick had reacted to the proximity.“It’s just lack of sex. I need to get laid. You’ve been tense lately—just find a girl who’s up for it and that’ll take care of the tension. This kind of thing won’t happen again,” he tried to convince himself. He got to the parking garage, climbed on his motorcycle, and glanced at the little box he had tucked into the inner pocket of his jacket. He decided to head to one of Adam’s clubs. In his mind, the solution was simple: sleep with someone and solve the problem.Back at the mansion, when Adam came out of the bathroom, he acted normal with Samantha. While she finished drying her hair, he said “I’ll be right back” and left the room with his phone. He went to talk
Caio was getting ready to head to his room when he received a message from Sophia:“I need you to come to my room. It’s urgent.”He picked up the pace. The word “urgent” sent all kinds of thoughts racing through his head—from her being in danger to her having gotten hurt. He reached her door quickly. He knocked, and she answered almost immediately. Sophia glanced both ways to make sure he was alone, pulled him inside, and locked the door.“What happened? What’s the emergency?” he asked, concerned.“This is the emergency,” Sophia replied, pulling him into a deep, intense kiss.Caio understood right away. He had been eager for this since the day they had gotten closer in the office. He wanted to repeat that moment, but he hadn’t found the right opportunity—and he didn’t have the same boldness she did.Their lips parted for a second. Caio scooped her up, making her wrap her legs around his waist, and carried her to the bed. He laid her down carefully and positioned himself on top, resumi
Samantha couldn’t hold back any longer and ended up bringing up the subject she had promised herself she wouldn’t mention.“You trusted Sabrina so much that you never even suspected she could do something like that.”Adam found her tone strange, but he answered anyway.“It’s not exactly like that. Things happened really fast, and we didn’t even consider that possibility. We got distracted, especially with everything that was going on with you.”“And would you forgive her if she wanted to come back to you?” Samantha asked, looking him straight in the eyes as she waited for his answer.Adam didn’t understand where these questions were coming from, but he continued answering honestly.“Why would I do that? She knew perfectly well that I don’t forgive betrayal. Besides, I already have you. What reason would I have to want her back?”He replied, holding her gaze and looking completely sincere. Samantha asked a few more questions but didn’t push the subject any further.“And how are your in
The three of them arrived at the store. At the entrance, Sophia asked the security guards to wait outside.“You can wait here. I don’t think anything’s going to happen inside, especially with Alice around.”They obeyed and stayed outside, keeping watch. Once inside, the three women began browsing the clothing racks, picking out a few pieces. Sophia headed to the fitting room to try on what she had selected.“I’m going to check out the dresses on the other side. I have a dinner tonight and I want to look stunning,” Alice said, clearly excited.“Like everything you wear doesn’t look amazing on you!” Samantha rolled her eyes.“But it wasn’t always like that… I’ll be right back. Stay alert,” Alice advised.Samantha noticed that Alice sounded a little off when she said “it wasn’t always like that.” It seemed like she had remembered something and gotten sad for a second. She took the opportunity to look at a few items herself, chose what she liked, and headed toward the fitting rooms. Adam finished his shower and, before Samantha stepped in for hers, said:“I’m going to get dressed and head downstairs. I want to get this bug situation sorted out quickly so I can relax and plan how to finish Oliver off.”“You haven’t eaten anything yet, Adam. The doctor said you need to eat because of the medication. Do you want to end up with gastritis or a stomach ulcer?”“Are you scolding me, babe?” he asked, stepping closer with a smile.“Yes, because you’re incredibly stubborn.”“I’ll take it from you… and I actually like seeing this bossy side of you,” Adam said, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her in for a kiss.“Go get dressed. Didn’t you say you were in a hurry?” she shot back, taking the chance to give another order.“Yes, ma’am,” he replied, giving her a playful salute with a grin. “I promise I’ll grab something to eat on the way. Is that good enough?”“It better be,” Samantha answered with a satisfied smile, happy he had given in.After saying goodbye, Samantha wen
When Andrew got back to the clinic, Pedro was still asleep. He didn’t want to wake him, so he stood quietly by the bed for a few minutes, just watching. Earlier, he had stopped by the infirmary to get a few scratches he’d picked up during the escape treated. As he stood there, his thoughts drifted to his brother’s situation with Samantha. All the dangers she had faced just by being with Adam, the desperation on her face when there was no news of him… Would it be better for Pedro to stay away from him? That way, he wouldn’t run the risk of going through the same thing his friend had.Lost in thought, Pedro woke up and saw him there. He immediately noticed the small scrape on Andrew’s face and grew worried. Samantha had already left looking roughed up, and he had only found out through the nurses.“What happened to you? Are you hurt?” Pedro asked, trying to move but wincing in pain.“Careful, you can’t move like that,” Andrew said, stepping closer.“Are you really not hurt?” Pedro looke
She started connecting the dots and realized that Marcos must have been the one who carried it out. She hadn’t seen him around, and Caio had mentioned he was out of town. She was sure that was the job his boss had sent him on. And through those photos, she got another glimpse of what the darkest si
Samantha snapped out of her thoughts and memories with a smile on her face, reliving the details of that punishment. If every one of Adam’s punishments ended like that, she felt like it might be worth getting into a little trouble now and then. She closed her robe and headed back to the bedroom. Wh
The object began tracing her body again, and she already knew it was a flogger with a flat tip. Adam slid it across her skin once more, landing a few light strikes—on her stomach, her thigh—and even brushed it over her groin, sending shivers through her and making her hold her breath at the touch.
Samantha stood in front of the closet mirror. She opened her robe and looked at her naked body. A few marks were still visible—reminders of the hours she had spent with Adam earlier that night. She turned around, lifted the robe, and examined her ass, which was still red.Facing the mirror again, s
