The “Wave” was a dangerously delightful event. All wolves who had already been claimed and had a partner, regardless of gender, were overcome by an indescribable hunger that could only be satisfied by one thing: sex.

That’s why the name “Wave”: it was a state of compulsory heat, a wave of desire, lust, and fire that hit us with full force and drove us toward sex.

It could even be dangerous to go without; there were reports of wolves who got sick if they couldn’t mate. They felt physical pain and weakness without sex during that period of heat.

It could be true agony.

On the other hand, the sensations during that period were more intense and more vivid than at any other time. No sex compared to sex during the Wave; an orgasm, even less so.

Nonetheless, that wasn’t something I could afford at that moment when all I felt was disgust.

And I couldn’t say what made me sicker: my situation or the fact that my body was pushing me toward the one who had put me in that torture room.

I felt an overwhelming hunger settle in me, as if a void had opened in my womb and it could only be filled by his seed.

The sensation itself was humiliating. I dug my fingers into my hair, which had once been white as the moon but was now just dirty from swill and blood.

I held my head and rocked back and forth, trying to push those thoughts away.

I was not going to bend to him.

Not for heat. Not for pain. Not for hunger.

I would never lie down with the son of my father’s killer.

But I had one advantage, a single thing in my favor.

If I felt this way, then Rayan did too.

His body must be screaming for me. His c*ck must be rock hard.

He must be writhing to avoid breaking down that door and taking me.

And he wasn’t going to get me like that, filthy and weak.

No, if he got me out of there, I would take a shower and eat to endure repeated rounds of sex.

“Sex… Damn, why did I think of that word?”

The hunger I had grown used to returned. I started pressing my thighs together, trying to relieve the overwhelming sensation.

And then it all collapsed.

A sound of moving metal arose, and a blinding light entered the room through the wall opposite me.

I covered my eyes with one arm and slowly got used to the ocular pain.

What I saw was beyond anything I could have anticipated.

The wall had opened and now revealed a glass panel; on the other side, there was a luxurious room.

Walls adorned with gold and rubies, a wide bed with silk sheets — everything was extravagant and exuded a primitive wealth, the kind only an old and prosperous wolf clan could possess.

I stood up, leaning against the wall and frowning as I scanned the room before me, trying to understand what it all meant. And then, unexpectedly, a group of people entered.

First, there were two women.

Calling them beautiful would be an understatement. Their bodies were ridiculously desirable, silky and shiny hair, one blonde and one brunette. Wearing revealing dresses that displayed the fullness of their breasts and their skin — oh, their skin was incredible. It made me want to break through the glass and kiss every inch of them.

Wait, if I was feeling this, then they were probably in heat too.

Right behind them came Rayan.

I couldn’t believe the scene unfolding before me; it was unbelievable, yet terribly real.

Rayan took off his shirt and looked at the glass; he knew I was there.

The women adjusted their lipstick for a moment.

“A one way mirror…”

So they couldn’t see me, but I could see them.

I tried to scream, using the loudest tone I could, my throat aching from the effort, but nothing.

Apparently, it was soundproof. I was completely isolated.

That’s when I understood everything. He was going to make me watch.

Why did I think even for a single moment that Rayan didn’t have a plan to get through the wave? It was obvious he knew he would be affected the same way I was. And, if it depended on my admission of defeat, things would be torturous for him too.

Unless he could relieve himself.

The Wave put us in a state of extreme heat, uncontrollable desire for our partner, but it could be appeased if there were Intercourse with another wolf in heat.

It wasn’t equally satisfying, but it was enough to maintain sanity and stable health.

And that was exactly what he would do.

Rayan grabbed the blonde and pushed her against the wall, her breasts pressed against the glass. She turned her face with a naughty smile, placing her hand on his face and holding him.

He kissed her neck with desire and need while looking directly at the mirror.

They would think he was watching their reactions.

I knew he was looking at me. Smelling his Luna on the other side and challenging her.

The other woman came behind him and started caressing him. Rayan continued moving his hand down the blonde’s body, reaching her thighs and lifting her dress.

When he reached her panties, he pulled the thin fabric and tore it effortlessly.

She let out a naughty smile, clearly enjoying it all.

The intensity with which Rayan looked at me was too much, making everything worse.

I felt the viscous liquid running down my thighs; I was getting soaked.

No matter how much I hated him, no matter how much I felt disgust toward him, my body was reacting to him in a way far beyond my control.

When he slid his hand between her legs, I saw the restrained moan escape the woman, her head thrown back.

I surrendered.

I ran my hand down my stomach and slipped it into my pants. I reached my lips, wet with desire, and began to touch myself while staring at the scene.

My fingers danced in circles, drawing helpless sighs from me.

I could feel myself pulsating like it was calling for him.

It was more intense than anything I had ever experienced, and I was only masturbating.

“So this is what they meant when they said the Wave amplifies everything.”

No, I wasn’t a virgin. I had been with wolves before, male and female, but never anything lasting more than a season, just to get through the heat period. My eyes had never been on relationships, only on the pack and my revenge.

Revenge… Revenge against the father of the wolf I was now touching myself to.

I felt the pleasure rising, my breathing synchronized with the blonde’s, she pushed her hips back. I was sure she was trying to feel Rayan’s hardness.

And the truth was, I wanted it too.

My eyes fixed on his, I felt the climax approaching, stronger than anything I had ever experienced.

My fingers quickened their rhythm and…

The door opened.

With a crash, the room was invaded by the same two men from before.

I desperately pulled my hand from my pants, and before I could comprehend, they grabbed my hands and chained them above me.

Now I was restrained not only by my feet but now by my hands. They turned to leave the room, one of them stopped, turned and said, “Rayan says: No cheating.”

The door slammed, locking me again in my personal hell. I moved my arms and realized the chains still allowed me to lower and raise them, but I couldn’t reach my own body.

They contracted and stretched only a little, but not enough.

I looked at them again and saw that the female wolf was now trembling.

She was reaching her climax.

A climax that was supposed to be mine.

I saw a scornful smile appear on Rayan’s face.

That bastard knew I was going to touch myself; he knew I was watching. He just wanted to see me suffer.

He released the blonde, pushing her aside, and grabbed the other, repeating the same actions he had done with the first.

I tried not to look, but it was stronger than me. I needed his gaze, his image, his body. My body leaned instinctively.

The Wave usually lasted for 15 days.

“15 days”, I repeated to myself, taking a deep breath. “15 days and I’ll be back to normal.”

That was just one of the lies I told myself, underestimating the power of the Wave, not knowing I would still have to witness those scenes for a very, very long time before it could change.

Violet . The sound of the cheers that erupted after Hertor's head fell still echoed through my mind. It had been days since the execution happened, weeks, but I still couldn't sleep at night without hearing those voices or watching the scene replay itself over and over again. That sound haunted me, just like the reality of everything I had done. Part of me tried to see those cheers as the conclusion of my actions, as a celebration of my revenge. I was finally the leader of both packs, Karin and Noar. I stood above everyone and everything. I had avenged my mother, my father, my entire pack. I had reclaimed the position that had been mine by birthright. I had brought down everyone who stood against me and risen from the ashes. I had fallen into darkness, adapted to it, consumed it, and returned stronger, more capable. I had accomplished everything I had set out to do. But at what cost? I thought I would finally find peace. I thought I would be satisfied. I believed that

I'd spilled plenty of it on the battlefield, both mine and my enemies'. But this was different. With every step I took toward the blood-soaked body, I knew. That blood belonged to my soul brother, the brother I had betrayed for a woman: Rayan. He was there, his lifeless eyes staring into nothingness, his expression twisted into what looked like the final trace of heartbreak, a last moment frozen forever in the face of betrayal. His body hung from the chains, his head slumped forward, blood still dripping slowly onto the stone floor. My gaze instinctively shifted, and I saw her.She was kneeling before him, the dagger still clutched in her hand. Blood was splattered across her body. She stared motionlessly at the ground, as though trapped in a state of shock. The cold silence surrounding us felt heavier than the stone walls themselves, m

“What…?” He blinked, confused, as if his mind hadn’t processed my words.“There was never a child,” I continued. “It was part of the plan. The only way to make you lower your guard, to ensure you wouldn’t kill me before the right moment. The Karin bloodline ends here. With you.”His face went pale, his mouth falling open without a sound as the shock spread through him. He seemed to be trying to reorganize the world inside his head, but everything was collapsing too fast.“So…” his voice broke along with his gaze. “So nothing we lived… nothing was real? It was all part of your plan?”The question hurt more than I expected.I stayed silent for a few seconds, feeling its weight.“Who knows…” I exhaled. “Maybe it was all just a cruel joke by the Goddess in the end.”He kept staring at me, searching for meaning in my words, while my gaze drifted to the ceiling before returning to him, spilling the truth I had denied for so long.“But it was real to me,” I said. “The passion, the desire, th

The transformation came like a long, heavy sigh. The bones retreated, the skin reformed, and my world returned to a human scale. My paws became bloodstained hands, and the metallic taste lingered in my mouth even after the fangs disappeared.I remained standing for a few seconds without moving, simply feeling my body relearn how to exist that way, as if every muscle needed permission to obey again. The adrenaline was still racing through my veins.I took a deep breath. The room had been reduced to a heap of glass, wood, and blood. A sight far worse and far more violent than when Iris and Onix had fought. I lowered my gaze again; before me, Roamur’s body lay motionless on the floor, his throat torn open, his eyes empty.I had killed my parents’ executioner. I had completed my vengeance. At least that part of it.Slowly, I raised my face toward the two-way mirror. On the other side stood my tormentor, the one who had to pay not only for the sins carried in his blood, but for those commi

Violet. The first growl tore through the air before I even had time to think. It didn’t come only from my throat, it came from Iris, from the depths of our shared chest, from an ancient place where pain never healed.Roamur answered in the same language, a deep sound laden with challenge, power, and the arrogance that had always defined him. Two predators recognizing each other, two blood-bound destinies colliding. We leapt at one another. The impact was violent. We rolled across the bedroom floor, furniture hurled against the walls, wood splintering under the weight of bodies that no longer knew restraint.
