LOGINIt’s been three days since Luther had gone, not a message from him to Hazel, and that made Hazel restless. “I hope he’s okay wherever he is” she whispered softly to herself as she sat in the dinning table while looking towards the window.
“Would you be needing anything else, my Lady.” Jane asked as she poured a wine in a glass cup, while Mary stood beside Hazel as she cleared the used plates from the table. “No please, I would be just fine” Hazel replied calmly. “My Lady, is everything okay?” Mary asked. “You have been worried since Lord Luther traveled.” Jane added, Mary quickly nudged Jane to keep shut. Hazel quickly turned to catch Mary’s and Jane’s gaze, she chuckled softly, “I see you two have been discussing about me lately.” Hazel said as she gazed intently into their eyes. “Apologies my Lady” They both said with their heads bent down. Hazel stood up without uttering a word as she left the dinning hall to her room, she laid on her bed silently with her gaze fixed up to the well designed roof above her. “I miss you so much Luther, she muttered to herself as she closed her eyes gently. It’s past midnight as she heard a soft knock at the door, she quickly awakened, wondering who it could be, she stood up as she went closer to the door. “Mary, Jane, Is that you.” She asked. “It’s Luther, wife.” Hazel stood frozen, the long awaited person she had been wanting to see, arrived at her door step, waiting for her to open the door for him to come in, she wasn’t well dressed, shy that he might not fancy the particular lingerie she wore, her hair isn’t well combed, and her eyes are heavy from sleep. She stood, gazing at the door in confusion, contemplating if to open it or not. She walked towards the door, counting her steps slowly, she quickly adjusted her dress, as her heart kept racing like she had run a marathon, she exhaled softly as she held the door knob. “Stay put Hazel” she whispered to herself as she opened the door. There he was, stood calmly with smiles hovering his face, looking at his familiar face, those striking blue eyes pierced deeply into her soul, all the pain and mental stress of her not to have seen him for days disappeared, and a smile found its way to her lips. Luther ruffled his hair, as he bits his lower side lip seductively, he took more steps closer, resting a hand on the doorframe, he leans forward as his gaze intensified towards her, he pulled her closer till he could feel her breath and his breath dance in rhythm, he nudged his forehead to hers, as he closed his eyes and inhale softly, while Hazel was wrapped round his arms like a baby, at that moment, Hazel, was so lost admiring his broad fitted shoulders and his sweet smells like rose flowers that sent shiver down her spine. “He smells so good, how I have missed him so much” she thought to herself, as she hugged him tightly. “Oh Hazel! You smell so heavenly, how I have missed you so much my beautiful Lady” he said as he pulled away, while staring deeply into her charming green eyes. Hazel was shocked to hear those words, here she was thinking he never missed her. “You left without a word Luther” she whispered softly as she held his face with her soft palm, Luther supported her palm with his fingers on his cheeks, while they were both lust in their eyes. “I apologize wife, I didn’t want to bother you with my problems.” He said as he gives a dull face, Hazel raised his chin with her tiny fingers to look at him closely. “Whatever bothers you, bothers me as well Luther, I was more bothered not to have heard from you in three days, than you to have told me you were traveling for peace making with your brother Judas.” She responded with a sweet tone that made Luther at ease and wanted to eat her up right there with his touch and eyes. “I bless the day I married you, you are exactly the strength I needed.” He whispered into her ears as he rested his head on her shoulders, she smoothed his hair gently and whispered seductively into his ears, “Would you love to come in Luther?” she bites his ear romantically. “I would have loved to come in Hazel, but,” he paused as he stared deeply into her eyes, to her nose, then landed on her lips, he caressed her lips with his thumb. “I would love for you to sleep a little more, it’s almost dawn, and I wouldn’t want to be in a haste to eat you up, I would love to take my time to devour your whole being, as my hands caress your skin.” They both stare at each other intently with smiles on their faces, “I have an early morning meeting tomorrow with my armies, I would want to go to bed now and rest, for I have a long day tomorrow.” He said as he kissed her forehead gently. “I will see you at breakfast wife” he said and left. Hazel stood as she watched his silhouette disappear, she exhaled sharply as she leans her back at the door, she closed her eyes as she inhaled Luther’s smell all over her body, while touching every part Luther touched. She quickly touched her lips with her fingers, recalling his thumb on it, “Luther, how I have missed your touch.”Luther walked through the garden with Elliot following behind. "How has it been so far Elliot?" Luther asked calmly."We all missed your presence, but we never stopped practicing with our swords, I ensured our armies were well prepared for whatever came our way." Elliot replied swiftly."Not that, chicken head." Luther said and exhaled softly. "I was asking about your marriage life, how has it been treating you so far?" "Apologies my Lord, it's been going well, she's a very good woman and I am happy she's mine forever." Laga replied gently."I am glad to hear." He paused his steps and turned to catch his gaze. "In case you need anything, anything at all, don't hesitate to let me know." Luther said to him genuinely."Thank you my Lord, I will be sure to let you know. You've done so well for me and I am never taking it for granted." He replied gently.Luther nodded his head calmly. "I will see you later Elliot." He patted his shoulder and left.Inside Luther and Hazel's chamber, Star s
"Thank you, that was a great gift." She said and turned to gaze at it. "But what is the essence if I can't use it?" She whispered gently."I will teach you how to use it." Laga said as his gaze fell on her dripping wet hair."You will?" She asked anxiously."Yes I will, you only need to ask and it's done." He said as he adjusted his gaze to her lips. "But it sure comes with a price." He said as he leaned closely."What price?" Gwen asked him calmly. He stared at her without a word, he leaned in and kissed her lips tenderly. "The price is this." He whispered softly to her. She stepped back a little while holding his gaze. Gently, she pulled her towel off her body and it fell to the ground, exposing her silky, milky skin. Laga gave out a loud breath by the sight of her nakedness, she walked closely to him and placed his hand on her breast. "I am all yours, let my body be the price." She whispered gently.Laga drew her to himself and kissed her hungrily, she moaned under his lips. He b
"Why must you think I would want anything before I have a decent conversation with my beloved brother?" Laga said, Cornell turned to catch his gaze. "What brought you here? Aren't you supposed to be with your lover? She needs your presence more than mine." Cornell said to him and Laga began to laugh."Did I sense jealousy in your words dearest brother?" Laga asked as he placed his hand on his brother's shoulders."In your widest dreams." Cornell said and adjusted his gaze to the flowers."You keep staring at that particular flower, what does it remind you of?" Laga asked calmly but got no response from Cornell. There was a pin drop silence amongst them, Laga exhaled softly as he turned towards his brother gently. "I know I have wronged you." "You know nothing." Cornell said to him swiftly. "You don't owe me any apology, I was the one who wronged you.""We both wronged each other Cornell and not just you, we both need to apologize to each other.""But I wronged you more, I was giving
"Yes your grace. She was destined to train the dragons and for her to fulfill that purpose, she must be born as one of them. She was able to control the dragons from killing our armies, she was born for this reason, to assist me in winning the war against her people. She was never in support of the plans of her people, she vowed to protect and defend me in the war and that she did exactly as fated, and now she's one of us." The king gazed at Star for a while. "So you two share similar powers?" The king asked calmly."Yes we do, and it's for the best." Star replied swiftly. There was a total silence that enveloped them, the king gazed at Gwen for a long time as if searching for something. Then he began laughing out loud which got everyone surprised at his actions, he called his army and whispered something into his ears and the army nodded and left."You two have made this kingdom proud." The king said, Gwen exhaled softly in relief."Thank you your grace." They both said and stood up
"Hate is a harsh word to say, despise you meant?" Star said as she walked towards the dragons. "You don't need to feel bad for him not being in support of you and Laga, he wants the best for his brother and that's what any family would do. It's left for you to prove your loyalty to him and how his brother meant to you. Kindly note that, it is not easy to trust your enemy, he lost his lover in the hands of their enemies, he needs time to adjust his mindset about who people really are, for it's not easy to lose someone you love, most especially in the hands of your enemies."Star placed her hands on the heads of the dragons with her eyes closed and they both jolted up from sleep. They roared and flapped their wings by her touch on their heads. Gwen chuckled and she turned to catch her gaze. "May I share your thoughts as to why you're laughing, did I do something funny?""I am just so surprised how you are able to tame them down, I thought I was the only one who could." Gwen said gently.
"I totally understand you Cornell, but she was born for this reason, she knows the best." Luther said to Cornell."I gathered my armies for this war, to fight against our enemies and not to make friends with them.""They are not just your armies Cornell, they are also my armies, Luther's armies and also this kingdom's armies, stop talking as if you did anyone a favor for fighting to gain peace for your kingdom, for our kingdom." Laga said."It's also our war, all of us. If not for her we all would have been dead, our enemies would have left us defeated, we are ordinary humans and not like their kind, what do you think would have happened to us if the promised child hadn't fought for us?" Hazel said calmly."What would the king say about this? After he had lost his armies in the hands of these dragons and in the hands of her people, what do you think the king would say?" Cornell questioned."The king would say nothing because it is not in his powers to make decisions. It is in her powe
