Larry stared at the form on his desk. He was just about to take a closer look when someone rushed into his office at that moment."Alpha! Something terrible just happened at the Northern Trade Center!"It was his Beta, Brock Tanner. His voice sounded very urgent."Some Rogues broke into the trade center with silverdust bombs. The patrol guards have already sealed off the perimeter, but there are still pack members inside who didn't manage to evacuate in time."Larry shot to his feet without any time to look at the form, grabbed his coat, and left.It was chaotic at the Northern Trade Center.There were screams, howls, and sounds of glass shattering everywhere. However, he only heard the cold, robotic female voice on the other end of the line, telling him that Sarah's number could not be reached.His face darkened. Larry stood opposite the street for a while. He didn't approach Sarah at first.He had imagined many different scenarios for their reunion. Larry didn't leave the Neutral Zone immediately. He went to Nora's new school the next day instead.The school was having an open day, and the playground was filled with the kids' and pups' excited laughter.
