Chapter 1

Charlotte's POVSusan Lane wore a white silk nightgown, its length just enough to cover her upper thighs.Mom had customized that nightgown and given it to me as my wedding gift. I rarely wore it over the years.Susan saw my grim expression when I came home and asked cautiously, "Jason, did I upset Charlotte again? I'll change out of this nightgown now.
