Kalau kata kerjanya sudah berakhiran -e, tinggal tambah -d: love → loved, like → liked.
Untuk kalimat negatif dan tanya kita tidak memakai bentuk -ed pada predikat; melainkan pakai 'did' (bentuk lampau dari do) + base form: I did not (didn't) walk / Did you walk?
Contoh gampang: 'walk' jadi 'walked', 'clean' jadi 'cleaned'. Kalau ejaannya butuh penyesuaian, ingat tiga aturan utama: kalau sudah berakhir -e cukup tambah -d; kalau berakhir konsonan + y ubah y jadi i lalu -ed; kalau pola CVC pada kata berstres gandakan konsonan terakhir lalu tambah -ed.
Jangan lupa soal pelafalan: ada tiga bunyi untuk akhiran -ed (/ɪd/, /t/, /d/) tergantung bunyi terakhir sebelum -ed. Untuk membuat kalimat negatif atau tanya di past tense tetap pakai 'did' + bentuk dasar kata kerja (I didn't go / Did you see?), jadi bentuk kata kerja tidak berubah pada struktur itu.

His Regret Began When I Abandoned Him

For three years of marriage, she—Camelia Collyn—was merely a wife on paper.
Calvin Ashford—her husband—had never touched her, nor had he ever loved her.
When the truth was revealed—that she was only a substitute, and that her husband had been saving himself for his first love—she knew the end of this marriage had already been decided. Calvin Ashford intended to divorce her. Of course, it was all for the sake of returning to Samantha Rose (Tata)—his first love who had come back.
However, one mistake on the final night changed everything.
Camelia left, leaving behind the divorce papers, and strangely, instead of feeling happy about Camelia’s departure, it was quite the opposite.
Why was that so?
After being married for three years, I was very satisfied with my life.
My husband was handsome, caring, gentle, emotionally stable, and never lost his temper with me.
That was until the day when I saw my kind husband cornering his true love. He asked angrily, "You were the one who decided to marry someone else, what right have you got to ask me to do anything?"
Only then did I realize that he could be emotionally unstable when he was truly in love with someone.
I knew my place, so I decided to divorce my husband and disappear from his life.
A lot of people said that Ryan had gone mad and that he was turning the whole Jelaston upside down just to find me.
I felt that it was impossible for someone so emotionally stable as Ryan to go crazy. Not to mention the fact that I was just an ex-wife that he didn't really care about.
Sometime later, he saw me standing next to another man. He grabbed my wrists and pleaded with red eyes, "I'm sorry, Charlotte. Please come back to me."
Only then did I realize that what I heard other people talking about wasn't just a rumor.
Ryan really had gone mad.
To the world, I’m just Macey Carter.
Mason’s little sister. Samantha’s best friend. The girl who somehow landed her dream job as lead designer at Seams & Touch.
But inside? I’m someone else entirely.
Someone who aches to be broken down and put back together by a man who knows exactly how to use me. Someone who craves submission so badly, it’s like a sickness.
My ex never understood. David was too soft, too careful. He wanted to hold hands and make promises, while I wanted to kneel and beg. When he left me, I didn’t fight it. Two years later, I’m twenty-four, single, untouched, and suffocating under the weight of everything I can’t admit out loud.
And then there’s Damien Blackwell.
My boss’s older brother. Ten years older, sharper, and rougher, with a reputation that makes people whisper when he walks by.
I shouldn’t want him.
But I do.
God, I do.
He’s the finest thing I’ve ever seen. I know because I’ve seen all of him—one reckless afternoon when I walked into his office and caught him taking a woman apart on his desk. She looked like she wanted to disappear, like she hated every second of it.
And I hated her.
Because I would have begged for more.
Damien promised his sister he’d stay away from me. He told himself I was too young, too close, and too dangerous. For a while, he believed it. But that ended the night he caught me touching myself in my office, late after hours, knowing he was watching.
That’s when everything changed.
[Think About A Passionate Sex Scene]:
Cayden had snuck up behind Isla, his fated mate, and hauled her off the Couch and into the warming-depth of his muscle-packed body.
Without warning, he circled her around, straddled her on his sturdy waist, and plunged a threatening length into her.
Heavy thrust, pleasured squeals, venereal kisses, hip sways, electrifying pulses, hair pulls, dampened cuddles, vigorous growls, heated grinds… Name it!
Cayden continued digging his way into Isla’s soul until her legs pleaded their surrender…

Sorrowful, Isla leaves Cayden’s life for good!

Isla is also at the same Banquet.
And she’s that daughter of the King!

There is a Past and then there is a Present. What should be our choice? To go along with the Past, feeling the familiarity of it or to go along with the Present, wishing for something new and hoping it to be amazing?
With Past, we already know what to expect and know that it will not hurt the same if something goes wrong again. With Present, we don’t know what to expect and also feel that it may hurt even more than ever.
So, should we let go of the past or ignore the present? With all these confusing and unanswerable questions there are a few people who are ready to tell you their story.
This is the story of one among such people who has a tough but again, not so tough choice to take between past and present. Hope whatever choice that person takes will be near to perfect one, or at least far away from worst.
Kadang aku suka bikin contoh sehari-hari supaya tata bahasa nggak terasa kering.
Contoh: "I walk to the store." — Aku berjalan ke toko. "Yesterday I walked to the store." — Kemarin aku berjalan ke toko. "I watch movies on weekends." — Aku menonton film setiap akhir pekan. "Last weekend I watched a movie." — Akhir pekan lalu aku menonton film. "She cooks dinner every night." — Dia memasak makan malam setiap malam. "She cooked dinner yesterday." — Dia memasak makan malam kemarin. "We play football." — Kami bermain sepak bola. "We played football yesterday."
I did not walk to the store yesterday." — Aku tidak berjalan ke toko kemarin. "Did you watch the movie?" — Apakah kamu menonton film itu? Kalau mau pakai present perfect: "I have walked five kilometers today."
