No audiobook for 'Battle Through the Heavens' yet, which is wild considering how popular the series is. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve reread the novels, and an audio version would be perfect for commuting. I even tweeted at a few publishers asking about it—no luck so far.
In the meantime, I’ve gotten into audio dramas for other xianxia titles like 'Coiling Dragon,' and they’re pretty immersive. If you’re desperate for 'Battle Through the Heavens' in audio, some fan-made TTS (text-to-speech) tools can convert the webnovel text, though the robotic voice isn’t ideal. Here’s hoping the success of the donghua pushes someone to greenlight an audiobook soon.
Checked every corner of the internet—no audiobook for 'Battle Through the Heavens.' Real bummer, because the fights and alchemy scenes would sound amazing with proper narration. I’ve resorted to replaying the donghua’s audio clips while reading certain chapters. Not the same, but it’s fun to imagine. Hopefully, the hype around the live-action adaptation will convince someone to record it someday.
The world of 'Battle Through the Heavens' is absolutely massive, and I’ve been hooked on it for years—first through the manhua, then the donghua, and later the live-action drama. I’ve scoured Audible, Google Play Books, and even niche platforms like Webnovel’s audio section, but so far, I haven’t stumbled upon an official audiobook version. It’s a shame because Xiao Yan’s journey would be epic with voice acting and sound effects. Maybe one day!
That said, if you’re craving something similar in audio form, I’d recommend checking out 'Against the Gods' or 'Martial World,' which have decent audiobook adaptations. Or, if you’re open to fan readings, some YouTube channels and forums have enthusiasts narrating chapters. Not the same as a polished production, but it’s something while we wait for an official release. Fingers crossed the publishers notice the demand!
I’m a huge audiobook listener, especially for cultivation novels, so I’ve looked everywhere for 'Battle Through the Heavens.' Sadly, nada. It’s surprising, given how many other Chinese fantasy novels are getting audio adaptations these days. I even asked in a few Discord servers dedicated to xianxia, and the consensus is that it’s not out there—yet.
On the bright side, the donghua’s soundtrack is fire, and I sometimes play it while reading to set the mood. If you’re into audio content, the animated series has great voice acting, so that might scratch the itch. Or, if you’re bilingual, there are Mandarin audio dramas for similar stories. Maybe we’ll get an English version if enough fans clamor for it.

I totally get why you're curious about the audiobook version. From what I've found, it doesn't seem to have an official English audiobook release yet, which is a huge bummer for us auditory learners. The novel's popularity in the xianxia community makes me hopeful it might get one eventually, though. I've seen fan-made audio readings pop up on platforms like YouTube, but they're not the same as a professional production.
The lack of an audiobook feels like a missed opportunity, especially with how immersive the cultivation battles and world-building could sound with voice acting. I’ve resorted to text-to-speech apps for now, but it’s not ideal. If you’re like me and prefer listening, keep an eye on Audible or other platforms—sometimes these things take time. The fanbase is growing, so pressure might lead to a release down the line.
