As someone who loves testing niche units, I’ve found some underrated gems for Book 9. 'Rearmed Ingrid' paired with 'Legendary Hinoka' creates a deadly flier core—Ingrid’s weapon refine and Hinoka’s mobility are a match made in heaven. Add 'Ascended Eir' for healing and 'Emblem Lyn' for speed shenanigans, and you’ve got a team that’s both fun and lethal.
Another slept-on combo is 'Brave Corrin', 'Legendary Elincia', 'Rearmed Sonya', and 'Ascended Florina'. Corrin’s damage reduction stacks with Elincia’s brave attacks, while Sonya’s AoE specials and Florina’s support keep everyone alive. This team shreds through meta tanks like butter. Don’t sleep on these units just because they aren’t flavor-of-the-month!
Building the best teams for FEH Book 9 depends on your playstyle, but here’s what’s working for me. For a hyper-offensive setup, try 'Brave Edelgard', 'Winter Dimitri', 'Summer Fjorm', and 'Legendary Veronica'. Edelgard’s survivability is nuts, especially with Dimitri’s near-save skill. Fjorm’s debuffs and Veronica’s hit-and-run tactics make this team a nightmare to face.
If you prefer a balanced approach, 'Emblem Sigurd', 'Ascended Celica', 'Rearmed Ophelia', and 'Legendary Robin' are solid. Sigurd’s movement buffs let Celica and Ophelia nuke enemies from afar, while Robin’s debuffs cripple the enemy team.
For Aether Raids defense, I swear by 'Seidr', 'Gotoh', 'Medeus', and 'Arval'. Their synergy is terrifying—Seidr’s isolation, Gotoh’s range, Medeus’ anti-warp, and Arval’s healing make this team nearly unbreakable. Try these combos, and you’ll climb tiers fast.
I've been playing 'Fire Emblem Heroes' since launch, and Book 9 has some fantastic team compositions. My personal favorite is a mix of 'Legendary Alear', 'Emblem Marth', 'Ascended Fjorm', and 'Rearmed Tana'. Alear's speed and Marth's buffs make them unstoppable, while Fjorm tanks hits like a champ. Tana's mobility is insane, letting her swoop in for kills or rescue allies. This team covers all bases: offense, defense, and support. I also love using 'Brave Gullveig' for her time-travel shenanigans—she’s broken in the right hands. If you’re facing a lot of dragons, throw in 'Legendary Nanna' for her effective damage. Experiment with these units, and you’ll dominate Arena and Aether Raids.

Eidolon Academy Book 1
The ancient Mother Dragon Neyalha used her magic to help bring life to the world of Edon. Neyalha and her mate Gheyaral then gave birth to a pair of Dragons named Nayara and Ghaeron, and they were tasked as Guardians and advisors to the benevolent rulers of the realm. The people of Edon created two forces to preserve the good: The Black Knights, and the Sorceresses. Together they protected the realm against threats physical and mystical. Despite the Guardians’ efforts, Dark Magic and its practitioners began to rise. The Guardians knew that conflict was inevitable. But they believed there was hope yet for humanity; individuals of rare talent. Randey Edal, son of renowned Black Knights, was one such individual. Keyla Soril, a friend of Randey’s since childhood, was also singled out for her emerging skills as a Sorceress. But can they together help to defeat the forces of Dark Magic?

Seraphine Vale is whisked away to Aetherborn Academy after a terrifying magical incident, she expects answers, not four dangerously captivating boys who seem unnervingly drawn to her.
Alaric, the cold vampire noble.
Kade, the brooding werewolf with eyes like storms.

And Lucien, the beautiful, unreadable incubus who invades her dreams.
Each boy reacts to Seraphine as if they’ve known her far longer than she’s been alive… and each one’s powers surge unpredictably around her. As forbidden feelings spark and jealousy rises, Seraphine discovers a chilling truth: a prophecy ties her fate to theirs and to a sealed ancient power capable of either saving or destroying their world.
Dark forces begin stirring beneath the Academy, hunting her magic… and her heart.
To survive, Seraphine must unravel the mystery of who she really is and which boy she can trust when love itself might set the prophecy in motion.
Because awakening the Aetherborn doesn’t just change her destiny.
It changes everyone around her.
When the Supreme God of Heavens disappeared, the gods of the Greeks, Norse, Mayans, Egyptians, Chinese, and many more sent their young mortal champions to a magical world in order to participate in the Game of Heavens and Earth on their behalf to win the divine throne. To any kid from Earth, an exciting adventure and new beginning await them, and Sam Roche is one of those lucky chosen ones — or is he still unlucky?
Since everything is in peace, Sam tries to build a new life in the City of New Beginning while hiding his dark secrets from his new friends about the sins he committed back on Earth. Eventually, Sam and his friends discover that the strongest guilds have long controlled the paradise, and their rivalry might spark a war that will engulf the land. Wanting to get away as much as possible, they decide that they form their own guild and leave the city. However, a powerful guild is threatening the fragile peace of the magical world in order to win the Game of Heavens and Earth. Sam must either run away to save himself or become a hero to save not only his friends but both worlds.
I've been diving deep into 'Fire Emblem Heroes' Book 9, and the new units are absolutely fire. The standout for me is the duo of 'Alfonse: Heir of Light' and 'Sharena: Princess of Askr', who bring a fresh dynamic to the battlefield with their synergy skills. Another favorite is 'Embla: Queen of Shadows', a dark mage with insane debuff potential. Then there's 'Askran General', a tanky cavalry unit that's perfect for holding the line. The new beast units, 'Fenrir: Moonlit Beast' and 'Hati: Sunlit Beast', are also super fun to play with their transformation mechanics. Each of these units adds something unique to the game, making team composition even more exciting.
I've been diving deep into 'Fire Emblem Heroes' Book 9, and the villains this time are a fascinating mix of old-school menace and fresh twists. The main antagonist is Njörðr, the god of the sea, who’s got this eerie calmness but hides a ruthless ambition to reshape the world. His children, Gullveig and Nerþuz, play huge roles too—Gullveig is this time-looping enigma who feels like a force of nature, while Nerþuz starts off mysterious but quickly shows her manipulative side. Then there’s Heiðr, who’s more of a wildcard, blending deception and charm. What I love is how they’re not just evil for evil’s sake; their motivations tie into themes of fate and rebellion, making them way more compelling than your typical bad guys.
I've been deep into 'Fire Emblem Heroes' since launch, and Book 9, 'The Kingdom of Gold and Sand,' totally hooked me with its fresh lore. The story follows the Summoner and the Order of Heroes as they travel to the desert kingdom of Ginnungagap, ruled by the enigmatic Gullveig, a time-manipulating sorceress. The twist? She’s both the villain and a tragic figure trapped in a cycle of destruction. The plot explores themes of fate and inevitability, with Gullveig’s past tied to the protagonist’s future. The desert setting is a visual treat, and the new OCs like Seiðr and Heiðr add emotional weight. The time-loop narrative keeps things unpredictable, making it one of FEH’s most ambitious stories.
