Their infant son, Dudley Dursley, is already a presence, introduced as a pink, porky little baby who is the center of their universe.

Then, the wizarding world crashes into their perfectly dull existence, though mostly through whispers and strange sightings. Professor Albus Dumbledore makes his first appearance, stepping into the scene with a sudden, silent flash of light.
