Took me forever. Found it on Hoopla, but only after linking three different library cards. The narrator's voice is so gravelly it almost put me to sleep, which is a strange contrast to the plot. It's there, just buried.

I was hunting for that audiobook myself for ages. It's a weird one because the title is so generic that searching 'Last Detail' just floods you with stuff about 'The Last Detail' the movie, or random thriller novels. The audiobook isn't on Audible, at least not in my region. I finally stumbled on it through a smaller digital library app called Libby, but only because my local library had a specific license for it. It might be one of those titles that's stuck in rights limbo, so your best chance is checking different library systems.
I listened to it and the narration was... okay. It felt a bit flat for such a tense story, honestly. The book has this relentless, claustrophobic energy, but the audio version didn't fully capture that for me. Still, if you're a completionist or prefer audio, digging through library catalogs is the move. I'd start there before anywhere else.

Yeah, good luck with that. I'm pretty sure a full, professionally narrated audiobook for 'Last Detail' doesn't exist in a widespread commercial sense. I've seen some text-to-speech conversions on fan forums, but those are rough. The novel is pretty niche outside of certain literary circles, so it never got the big studio treatment like more popular thrillers.
Sometimes these things pop up on obscure YouTube channels reading chapters, but they get taken down fast. It's frustrating. At this point, I just accepted it and read the paperback. The prose is dense enough that I think I absorbed more reading it visually anyway.

The Devil's Ice (The Road Devils Motorcycle Club 5)

2.1K
Ice had seen courage under fire, in many cases literally, back in his SEAL days. But he’d never seen anything like Vixen that day.
When he first caught sight of her, she was standing with her feet wide apart, solidly braced on those mile-high, mid-thigh black boots, the ones that he loved fucking her in. Her minute green skirt had ridden high and tight up her perfect legs, and her dark eyes were dilated to black as she grimly stared down the approaching vehicle, shooting and shooting, both hands holding the gun. She’d looked every inch the hot female assassin in some blockbuster Hollywood movie, right down to her hair flowing behind her in the autumn wind. **** Ice Johansson is the Road Devils MC’s Chief Enforcer: cold, ruthless, and built for violence. He doesn’t feel guilt, except where Vix is concerned. Weeks ago, he crossed a line with the one woman who mattered to him. Now an enemy attack leaves her badly injured, and Ice wants one thing: to protect her, if she’ll let him close again.
Victoria “Vixen” Shaw owns her reputation as the club’s favorite ride. No shame. No apologies. For eighteen months, though, she’s been Ice’s alone. What he did shattered her trust, but when Ice becomes her caretaker – no sex, no demands, just presence – she begins to see the man beneath the ice.
As the Road Devils are pushed to the brink, Ice and Vix find intimacy where they never expected it: clothed, raw, and vulnerable. But if Ice reveals the darkest parts of himself – the violence he embraces to protect his family – can Vix accept him? And even if she does, can loving a man like Ice ever truly be safe?

Speaking of Maya, she has a few secrets of her own, one that involves Mayor Rogers and a scandal that could level the city.
In the courtroom, Crandon Morgan is fighting to keep his name clean after a very public mental meltdown. He’s looking for a comeback, but he finds a distraction in Tempest Summers, a new law junior associate with a haunted past and a hunger for a kind of justice the law books don’t cover.

With his relationship with a different Keisha on the line and his daughter Mabel watching, Kole has to prove he’s being set up before the lie becomes his life.
In this game, peace isn't free, you have to pay for it in blood, truth, or with everything you own.
A plane crash tore my husband and his twin brother apart. One survived. One did not.
When I rushed to the hospital, I saw my brother-in-law, who had just survived the crash, locked in a passionate kiss with his wife.
My husband?
He lay lifeless in the morgue.
Blinded by grief, I stumbled down the stairs…and lost the child I had spent three years longing for.
Three years passed.
Just as I was finally learning to breathe without him,
I overheard a conversation between his closest friend and my brother-in-law:
"How long do you plan to keep pretending to be your brother? Alicia is your legal wife."
He adjusted his glasses, voice icy and distant.
"I swore to my brother I'd protect Emily for the rest of my life. I am him now. As for Alicia… let her be the debt I carry into my next life."
That's when I learned the truth. It was the brother-in-law who died in the crash. My husband, the man I had mourned all those years, had taken on his brother's identity to stay by Emily's side, the unattainable woman he had always secretly loved.
So then what about me? The woman clinging to old memories, living in torture for three years. What was I to him?
I’m Oliver Lance. Yes, the Oliver Lance. The one that all men want to be and all women want to be with.
Every Sunday a million fans watch me throw a ball down a field, win games, and sign huge endorsement deals.
Everything was going perfectly, until a car accident tore it all away from me. I want it back, and only she can help me.
At first, I think about ‘Doc’ Elsie the same way I think of every other woman. Just another possible conquest, another notch on my bedpost.
Only Elsie is different. She’s not starstruck by me. She’s not interested in my money. She’s the most real woman I’ve ever met, and those tempting curves are making it hard to stay focused on my recovery.
Now, I’ll do anything to keep her by my side. I’ll defy my manager, my coach, even lay down my career as quarterback to stay with her.
It’s third and long, and I’m gonna make my play Hard and Deep.
From New York Times bestselling author Krista Lakes comes this sexy story of sports romance!
I was slowly dying from Silverthorn Wolfsbane, and there was only one cure—the Miracle Elixir. But my mate, Leo Ashford, bought it and gave it to my adoptive sister, Jane Smith. He did it because he thought I was faking my illness.
I gave up on the treatment and swallowed a potent painkiller instead. It would kill me in three days by shutting down my organs.
In those three days, I gave up everything. I handed over the fur manufacturing business I built from the ground up to Jane, and my parents praised me for caring about my sister.
I offered to sever our mate bond, and Leo praised me for finally being sensible.
When I told my son he could call Jane "mommy", he happily said that his new mommy was the best!
I transferred all my savings to Jane, and no one seemed to notice anything out of the ordinary. They were just pleased with my "better behavior".
"Viola is finally not so bad."
I wondered—would they regret it after I was gone?
